A fun red music themed bar. Plenty of booth seating. A few patio tables for people watching. Eleven bar seats. Friendly staff. Overall just a very cool bar. No doubt fills up at night. We visited late afternoon. Plenty of seating. Love the classic rock live musician nailed it on every song.

Was a good time watching the girl playing the request from the audience. Some song we liked others.... We were there on a Saturday night and it was fairly crowded but had no issues getting service.

Sorry there is only 5 stars. Crowd, piano player, bar tenders made for a special night. Best piano bar I have been to in 20 years. Crowd was mix of young and old all enjoying ourselves!

This place is a gem. You don’t often find a piano bar that features live entertainment. This club does, and they never disappoint. Red piano always books amazing talent. They never disappoint. During August they have the beautiful and talented Alex Ivy performing every night, and if you’re lucky you may catch the amazing Robert Cortez playing Saxophone with her on a Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday night. Beautiful people, great talents. Together a beautiful sound. Must see!

We were passing by on our way to an Irish bar next door around 5:30ish and heard Jason on the piano. Outstanding! Took a Sinatra request & Billy Joel. He is not only great on the piano but is a great singer. No Victor Borga impressions but that would be for the older crowd!

My friends and I came on a busy Saturday to celebrate our friend’s engagement. Gigi went above and beyond to make our night feel extra special, drinks were strong, service was prompt and the live music was a great bonus!

We had the BEST experience at The Red Piano thanks to our amazing server, Gigi! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel so welcome and taken care of. She was warm, attentive, and had such a great energy that made the whole night even more fun. Gigi gave great recommendations, always checked in at the right times, and somehow managed to make us feel like VIPs even though the place was busy.

Came here for cocktails & the entertainment, after dinner (elsewhere), so did not order any food. The bartenders were super busy but still managed to be attentive! The vibe was lively, very fun, and very upbeat! We were amazed at the non-stop piano-playing! If you are looking for late-night fun in Santa Barbara, be sure to stop in to The Red Piano!

Apparently the regular was out sick but we went on 2 different nights and the Temps were still great and made for a super enjoyable evening. We went on a Wed and Thurs and it was likely a little more mellow than the weekends.

A time was had. They don't serve food, but you can bring in your own. Great sing-along bar. No, it's not karaoke. Don't get it twisted!

Good lighting / great ambience. Performers on this particular night left a little to be desired, but were still solid entertainment. I think what was lacking was more enthusiasm from the audience. Definitely a worthwhile stop on State Street and I’m looking forward to checking out more artists in the future. Excellent and attentive service from the wait staff!!! The French Margarita was delicious!

Bartender Very detached and not at all attentive or personable. We felt that we were not welcome. Never acknowledged or said hello. Realize she an alone but only 4 other people in the bar. Music was great!!

One of the more hopping spots in SB for a Thursday. Definitely a few folks who just yell at the piano player thinking $5 will get them their songs played. Felt bad for Ivy. Overall was a good spot that quieted down early and was a solid stop on our SB bday tour.
