85°C Santa Clarita Reviews
So cute and fun! I got a mango desert and it was so yummy!!! The places lights were very nice and inviting! The service was very good! Only wished i knew they had boba!
I had my first visit to an 85C Bakery in Valencia in November 2025. I live a distance from it but I will say that Yannessa made my visit such a delight. She pleasantly and patiently worked w/me to make a huge selection of treats. Every selection was a hit when I got them home to the family: Milk Pudding, Premium Milk, Coconut Milk, Walnut Cinnamon Roll... ok yes we went overboard but again it's a distance 😊 & of course because Yannessa is a gem of an employee- I will be returning!
I sent my husband here to get a cake for Thanksgiving hoping it would be decent. He came home with such a beautiful cake but I was a little worried about the price. Turns out it was almost $20 less than I was expecting! He got the Deluxe Chocolate Mousse Cake. It looks so good we couldn’t wait and it’s even better than it looks. We’re coming back for sure.
We visited this shop about lunch time, a week before Thanksgiving 2024. The places get crowded really quick, so you have to grab whatever you feel like eating. Hahaha! The have a lot of bread and pastries to choose from, from sweet breads to savory breads. When we visited, they sell mugs for a $1. When you purchase $30 worth of their breads. It's a nice red and greed mug, to give as gift or for personal use. This shop has a beverage station on the side, so you could order drinks on the go. From milk tea, to coffee, and tea. There's no seating inside, but there are a few seats outside the shop. There's no toilet inside either. Overall, I would recommend you to drop by for some delicious and soft breads.
My wife wanted to stop by here to pick up a cake for her aunt birthday. This 85C is inside a big plaza so there are a lot of parking spots here. This store is small so be aware of this because they won't have as much pastries as other bigger 85C stores. When we walked inside, my wife went to see if they had the jalapeno cheese but they did not. We then went to look at their cake options and they didn't have much to select from. She ended up getting the strawberry deluxe cake and they give out a happy birthday sign and candles for free. The employee was nice during the interaction we had with him while ordering the cake.
I have tried a large variety of the items sold there. Pricing is so so. I think some of the items are a bit overpriced for what you get. However I have not had any regrets on any items purchased. I enjoy sampling different items without having to be stuck with a large quantity. Most items are individually wrapped. I also recommend the Sea Salt Ice Coffee (forgot to take a pic).
We’re always impressed by 85°’s breads and desserts. Our most recent purchase was of a cream cheesecake for our younger son’s 1-year-old birthday…and it was great! Don’t imagine a thick New York cheesecake here; it’s far more light and airy. Also, if you ask, they give you a free package of candles when you buy a cake.
This place was incredible! I’ve never eaten Taiwanese bakery food, but I was so impressed. Their brioche was out of this world, easily the best I’ve ever had in my life! So airy, soft, amazing flavor, and delicate. There was quite the crowd there which told us that it is really a place to try and boy are we glad we did!!
Well, I dont usally eat many sugary sweets, but I did endulge this time. I bought the yellow cream roll, which is fantastic and great mini cake roll to share. I did also purchase a sandwich. The girl heated the whole thing in the micro, and yuck! It tasted like plastic...and I had to take it back in foelr a refund! And that really spoiled my experience. 😔 😟 But, I will add, overall the place is clean, and great customer service with a smile! A+ I higly recommend, but if you're watching your sugar and diet, avoid this experience.
Lovely bakery close by that has some really cute patisserie and specialty breads. Our only critique is the red bean paste they use is a little bit grainy and not sweet enough for our tastes and the buns were overbaked/a little burned on the tops for our liking which made the breads a little bitter. We are also pretty picky and red bean buns are our measure of judgement for a bakery like this. Overall a great shop and we will be back!
They don't have as much of a selection as they used to years back as far as pastries are concerned but maybe it was because I went in the early evening as a poster early morning or afternoon. What me and my friend had was good but it wasn't anything to Rave about to make me want to go back. I did enjoy the coffee, it was excellent. I had a mocha latte. There is no place to sit inside but they do have a few tables outside. I figured since it was a bakery everything would be pretty pure, but one of the things I grabbed had high fructose in it. I put that back and chose something different.
Giving a 2 star because the Black Forest cake slice was really really bad. Bitter tasting. Otherwise largely good but I felt the $4.5 I spent for this one slice happened to be “horrible” tasting. I will still buy and try other tested items but guys, stay away from the Black Forest.
We purchased Mango creme brulee birthday cake from here. All the mangoes on top were raw and sour. strawberry was raw. Lots of fluffy cream and artificial taste of mago essence. Disappointed
I visited 85 C Bakery for the first time today on 03/08/26 around 4:00pm, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the experience I was expecting. While the pastry itself was okay, the service I received from the cashier was incredibly rude and dismissive. I didn’t catch her name, but her attitude made me feel very unwelcome as a new customer. It’s disappointing because I was exited to try this place out. I hope management addresses the service standards for that shift so other first time visitors have a better experience.
Not very knowledgeable about their ingredients , I asked the cashier about one of their breads and what it contained and she just replied with a “I don’t know I’ve never had it “ and called the next customer. I guess not good customer service either .
ADA Violation, Discrimination, and Unacceptable Employee Conduct I am writing this review to bring urgent attention to a serious ADA violation and discriminatory incident that took place at this location. I entered the bakery briefly with my fully trained service animal to select items before closing. Within less than a minute, an employee approached me extremely rudely, loudly announcing across the store that I “couldn’t have my dog inside.” I calmly informed her that he is a service animal. Instead of responding professionally, she demanded to know my disability which is a direct violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act. Under the ADA, staff are legally prohibited from asking about the nature of a person’s disability. When I politely reminded her of this, the employee became confrontational and ordered me to leave, while customers stared as if I had done something wrong. My service animal was calm, quiet, and completely well behaved the entire time. The situation escalated further when the employee began raising her voice at me, insulting me, and even calling both me and my mother derogatory names in front of everyone. This behavior was aggressive, hostile, and entirely unprovoked. I requested to speak with a manager, but when she arrived, she refused to listen, allowed the employee to continue yelling and calling me names in front of her, and took no corrective action whatsoever. The lack of training, professionalism, and basic understanding of ADA law at this establishment is both alarming and unacceptable. This was not only humiliating but also an act of discrimination against a person with a disability. My rights were violated, and the conduct of both the employee and the manager was completely inappropriate. I am requesting that corporate be notified immediately and that proper disciplinary action, including termination of the employee involved, be taken. If this matter is not addressed appropriately, I will be escalating this further through the proper channels. I will never return to any 85°C location after this experience, and I strongly urge corporate to review the ADA training and professionalism of this store’s staff. No customer especially one with a disability should ever be treated this way.
