This place is super fun since they banned smoking! They have darts, pool, shuffleboard, pinball, other activities, friendly people, and the drinks are solid. One of the regulars helped my friends and I change a flat tire in the parking lot 😂 very welcoming crowd!

Great Atmosphere and beautiful bartenders. Lots of fun and games. Great people. All NFL games are shown and lots of TVs. Perfect new hang out spot.

Giving 5 stars in hopes the new owners keep this place running as a dive bar and don’t try to make it something it’s not. Santa Cruz already lost the Watering Hole and the Poet and the Patriot, we can’t afford to lose any more classic spots, they don’t come back once they are gone. Please keep it a no frills bar for regular folks.

This is our favorite place in Santa Cruz to meet friends and play pool especially the tournaments. The tournaments are good for all levels and the players are very good. If you're a new player, they will be helpful to you, give you tips, etc. There's a nice local crowd who are fun and good people.

It's definitely a social place with no tension in the atmosphere. Lots of activities like a community youth center for grown ups 😎 all ages 21+ You could also drink and smoke, to knock the edge off 🍻

A real bar with all the bells and whistles, including Keno, pool tables, and other fun drinking games. Please note I am a day drinker so I have no idea what it's like at night. But I imagine it turns into a zoo like most bars after 10pm.

Great place to play bar games. You can play pool on one of their three tables. If you prefer to throw darts, they've got you covered. There is also shuffle board and football! Double-oh is a cigar club which means you can still enjoy a smoke with your beer or cocktail! This rules! Friendly bartenders and even a waitress, serving you while you play your game. Jukebox music, and seating at the bar or in the main barroom make this a choice spot to party, play or peruse sports channels on the big screen.

Let me start off by saying that if you have issues with a legal smoking bar that sells cigars and cigarettes, Why would you go there and complain about it later? I've been frequenting the "Double Oh Seven" for over a decade now, and it is my favorite bar in town. Yes the drinks are a bit more expensive, Yes people are smoking there, Yes there is a ghetto ATM and Yes sometimes there are a lot of "kids". That stated, They offer many flat screen TV's for whatever you want to watch, free "old skool" shuffleboard, free video trivia, free steel tipped darts, two pin ball machines, a golf video game, two bar top video games, a jukebox, three pool tables, two video dart boards, a full selection of booze, a very safe environment, an eclectic friendly mix of mostly locals and tourists, And most importantly, The finest, funniest non-snooty bar staff in the County. So yeah, There's a reason this has been my home bar for almost eleven years now :-)

Pool tables, shuffel board, darts ....keno. the drinks pack a punch and Jeff the bartender....noatter how busy he is he never brecks a sweat. Very efficient and runs a tight ship. As far as being two woman solo, I felt she and comfortable. So give this place a visit, you will have a great, safe time.!

One of the guys who works there pulled my friends hair without consent and got too close for comfort to my partner trying to graze her. He’s either a bar back or a bartender couldn’t tell. We confronted him and in doing so he tried to gaslight them saying “I do this to girls all the time and usually no one has a problem with it”. Tried telling him the best thing to do was to ask for consent when touching anyone, especially literal strangers, and he wouldn’t have it. He told them to “Shut your mouth, I’m sorry. Here’s a free drink”. He admitted he was going to continue this inappropriate behavior and that he just would never touch the 2 of them again. He definitely won’t be, because we won’t be going back ever.
