I’m certain that this is the best cappuccino on the west side! The espresso beans are perfectly roasted, not too dark, and the flavor comes through beautifully balanced with the most luxurious, silky-smooth microfoam layer on top. I’ve been to pretty much all the coffee shops in the area and the quality of this one consistently outdoes the rest. You can tell how good this place is based on the fact there is a line at any time of day! No wifi but seating inside is warm and comfortable.

This place is a dream for anyone who loves Vanilla Lattes. You have to try it!

Pictured is their New Orleans style cold brew and am already consumed slice of coffee cake; both of which are exceptionally good. The cold brew I opted for is lightly sweetened and has a nice amount of almond milk to tie it all together. As I wrote this review I was nestled back at a shared work space bar top where everyone was courteous, kept to their work, and made it all a rather calm and enjoyable experience. We came here based off of a glowing recommendation from a friend who used to live in the area; I’ll say that their red is on point and the shop is fantastic.

super chill coffee spot in santa monica serving up some serious bean to cup brews. music playlist is shoegaze, alternative/indie, dreamy chill. american musician Alex G was on when i was there. baristas were knowledgeable, ingredients mostly made inhouse, and i was left pretty much to chill, do some work and not be bothered. what a gem in santa monica. will be back!

Primos Coffee and Tea consistently delivers exceptional coffee and chai experiences. The establishment is consistently greeted by friendly baristas and maintains a clean and inviting atmosphere. It stands out as one of the finest coffee shops in Montana. I am particularly fond of the turmeric ginger dirty chai. Additionally, the Nutella cruffin and strawberry croissant were freshly prepared and generously filled. The coffees are ground fresh and possess a robust, bold flavor, which is precisely what a coffee should be. The constant queue outside the establishment serves as an ample testament to the exceptional quality of their coffees.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Their coffee is stellar and their pastries are to die for! Great atmosphere for casual meetings with business associates or friends. Treat yourself to this place…it’s worth it!

Good things take time, so keep this in mind when coming here. I ordered a latte and a hazelnut latte. These handcrafted coffees take time to make, but I am guessing if you wanted just a regular drip it would not cost as much $5 and more, it would be faster. I arrived at 7:30am and there were just a few folks ahead of me in line. The wait was around 10 minutes total. Staff is friendly. Coffee delicious. Presentation beautiful. Price, on the high-end.

Espresso dialed perfectly, not too acidic or bitter.

Unfortunately we were very short on time and had to take out our drinks so didn’t get a chance to enjoy the food. Despite the 4-5 people line we were served pretty quick. We liked our drinks too.

Every morning sip is unforgettable. Without further ado let’s begin this awesome review. ;D Primo Passo Coffee Co. is a nice corner coffee shop in Montana Avenue, at 7th Street Santa Monica. Their business hours are Mon-Sun: 6:30am-6pm; it’s perfect for early riser folks like myself. In addition to coffee, PPCC offer teas and pastries, mugs, coffee bags, merch, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors to enjoy a relaxing day. Its interior decor has a minimalist style with plenty of natural light from their large glass windows. Similarly, their front out door has good street view. I came here on a late afternoon Monday and was greeted by a male staff. I quickly perused their menu and ordered a Nitro Cold Brew. I liked it. Atmosphere was very chill. Prices were tariff fair. Staff were nice and competent. Service was exceptional. Overall, PPC is a nice local coffee shop that opens early morning and offers good coffee products. I highly recommend you visit.

Food - Pastries could be better. The coffee was good. The latte went too cold too soon, or was it supposed to? Atmosphere - There were many people on laptops, but it was very noisy, on the other hand.

We were driving from Oxnard to San Diego and wanted some quick coffee. Their coffee is AMAZING, there’s a lot of coffee shops in LA but not many offer a raw sweet taste like this one. Their house made specialty syrups are vanilla and hazelnut. There is a Starbucks across the street but this would be a better choice to enjoy your coffee. They have about less than 10 parking spaces in the back then you’re left to street parking. No wifi, single bathroom available. Good place to chat, read a book, or just sit and enjoy your drink. They have a lot of small tables, can’t fit a laptop comfortably. If you’re looking to work or study, they have a high chair bar area and some outlets. Their theme and design is nice, we love their lighting since it coordinates with the natural door lighting.

Nice location, great coffee. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The aroma of freshly brewed beans fills the air, enticing customers to indulge in their favorite caffeinated beverages. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from classic espressos to unique specialty drinks. Whether you prefer a rich and bold flavor or a smooth and creamy latte, this cafe has something to satisfy every coffee lover's taste buds. So, grab a seat, sip on your favorite brew, and soak in the delightful ambiance of this coffee haven.

I stopped by Primo Passo one morning and had an iced latte. Coffee was ok, not spectacular, neither anything to complain about. There are seatings both inside and outside on the sidewalk. The store is bright and clean, service was friendly. Looks like a good local spot to hang out.

The staff was lovely and my cortado was super delicious. I loved the space. It's super open, clean and has big windows. There's a lot of seating and also seating on their patio. There's also a lot of great free parking around unlike the rest of Santa Monica 🙃

beautiful location and design, including outdoor seating. Excellent coffee, and I'm a professional coffee snob. I had a pour-over light roast. Really good. Only issue was long line, literally out the door and some. Guess that's a sign that it's a good place of course, just something to consider if you don't want to wait

4/11/21 Great espresso but kinda pricey. Ordered 4 shots ($4,50) Got less than 1,5 oz. I asked the girl who was taking orders and serving drinks. She confirmed that a shot should be equal to an ounce, then turned to barista and asked if he had poured 4 shots. He said yes... 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ Great location, professional and friendly staff. I’ll try latter to order a double...

I’m a regular at this place and it’s one of my favorite spots. But this review is solely for an encounter I had with one of the workers this morning. He used an unnecessarily aggressive tone and it was extremely abrasive while I was stood by myself in a corner waiting for my coffee, quietly holding my 5 lb dog. I understand policy and rules but it was inappropriate the way he spoke to me when I was cooperating. Awful and so rude.

Bitter. A coffee can have any taste but bitter. The barista was not good. I couldn't finish my Gibraltar. They only have a dark blend (they say medium-dark) for espresso or espresso based drinks. Many of the reviews sound great but the quality here is comparable to the shop across the road, Starbucks.

J

Spit out the coffee from how bad it tasted. No different from dirty water. Very long and didn’t even have decency to fill it near to the top. Another establishment that leaves me at a loss for the praise. Will be contacting for a refund asap

Got a masala chai latte, asked for it to be chilled but with no ice so they decided to give me half a cup of the drink instead and it tasted like crap anyways. What a waste of money. Definitely not coming back to this place again. Awful experience tried it for the first time wouldn’t recommend.

Both workers were extremely rude. I accidentally spilled some water on the floor and the employee said “do that outside” and didn’t offer to help as I wiped up the spill. I can confidentially say I will not be coming here anymore!
