The staff is professional and friendly. The place is impeccably clean and has a wide selection of dishes, both savory and sweet. You can taste the top-quality food. You can also order takeout if you like. Keep up the good work!

Always top-notch, the best desserts and friendliness you'll find in the area. Everything I try is always delicious, perfect for a snack or after-dinner treat!

I used to frequent this place 20 years ago, returning from club nights, to eat the legendary sgabeo (plain or filled). Returning to La Spezia, after some time, I realized that the management hasn't changed and that the food, both fresh and served, is always excellent. The sgabeo is exceptional! Definitely worth a try.

We've become regulars for dessert at the end of the evening. We come mainly for the desserts, which are fabulous, from the crepes to the waffles and bomboloni (fantastic), made with incredibly light dough and not at all greasy. Various fillings, including creams and fruit, are a godsend if you want a delicious dessert and a list of refined teas and infusions to pair with it. The people who run it are incredibly kind and friendly!

One of the best places I've been to in recent times...it feels like a pub...but the wines are at wine bar level. Excellent service. Excellent food quality and presentation. Excellent value for money. At certain times, it's difficult to find a table...given the sheer number of people who frequent it.

We went to this place on a Saturday evening for a sweet after-dinner treat. Let's just say it was almost a given, as we were craving something sweet, and they're the only ones open after Sarzana's 10:30 PM curfew, when almost all other places close, unlike those two popular hangouts for young people. We were greeted at the counter and seated in the indoor dining room (we could have sat outside, but it was a bit chilly). There's a good variety of savory and sweet treats, from sgabei to waffles, from bomboloni to crepes. We decided to try the latter, one with Nutella and banana and one with cream and strawberries. They were large and beautifully decorated; the Nutella one was good, but the cream one was even better. The cream was really good, delicate, and paired perfectly with the strawberries. The prices are average for Sarzana, the staff is very friendly, and the place is clean and tidy. Next time I'll try the waffles and sgabei!

I've been here several times with my girlfriend for dessert. The selection is so varied, and deciding is never easy. I usually order a cream bombolone, which I find fantastic. The crepes, sgabei, and waffles are also very good. In the winter, I also often order tea from the extensive selection of infusions. The only downside is the slightly higher-than-average prices. Regardless, the quality of the products is high. Recommended.

A nice place, the food is good, especially the savory crepes. A half-step below the Sgabei, not so much for quality but for heaviness: they should make a lighter dough because the flavor is excellent. Good prices; you don't have to spend a fortune to have a proper dinner. Another small flaw is the temperature in the winter, which is always a bit chilly.

The food is quite good, and it's convenient because it's open late on weekends. However, the prices are too high, as if it were a restaurant. A simple drink (gin and tonic) and an ice cream sundae cost €14, which seems a bit excessive.

The food is good and the place is nice, but... Once we ordered their tea and asked for extra boiling water, they told us we'd have to pay the full price for another tea (it was about 5 euros), which was truly pathetic! We recently returned after a long time and didn't receive a receipt. I tried to ask for one, but the waitress immediately moved on. In conclusion, in my opinion, the service needs to improve if they want to keep regular customers.

Average food, bar service, not at all at the level of any other italian restaurant in Sarzana... also more expensive than the average. Would only go here if there weren't other options

It's not the first time I've been to Ambrosia, but this time it's already the second time it's disappointed me. I ordered two sgabei to take away and as soon as I took them they were cold as if they had been there for an hour or at least not made at the moment. It's not for anything else, but paying and finding cold sgabei didn't go down well with me. Once they were much better now they were rubbery and difficult to chew on top of being cold. I didn't like it at all.

The first time I had tea and dessert, and everything was fine. I came back tonight for a stuffed sgabeo. There are two of us, a cutting board, and the sgabeo were piping hot and just cooked. My stuffed dish, just warmed up, was clearly left on the plate. And no, I'm sorry, it's not done like that. Half of it was left on my plate, and I barely even ate dinner. I don't know if anyone else would have kept quiet in my place. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star. For me, it would be zero. It's pointless to add that I won't set foot in there again.

Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The stools were greasy all the way through and smelled strongly of used oil, the dough was poor, the cold cuts were average, and the wine glasses were meager (though some tables were served the right amount). The outdoor tables are on the sidewalk, and cars drive very close. I don't recommend it and won't be returning.

WATCH THE PRICES ((DEAR INFECTED PEOPLE)) 2 cups of strawberries immersed in concentrated lemon juice so you don't have to go to the bathroom for a week... a small glass of measly hibiscus, a small bottle of sparkling water for a total of ((€15.50)).. let's forget it...
