Sausalito Equator Sausalito Reviews
Now I’m torn. I’m an Equator super fan, but which one do I go to now. This one has a full kitchen, plus an incredible atmosphere and gracious staff. Absolutely love their outdoor seating. Of course, avocado toast with a poached egg is the perfect combo for a tiger walk espresso. Don’t know what to do :)
This place is incredible. Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and great coffee. We ordered the protein avocado toast, berry compote waffle stack, black coffee, and an iced vanilla latte. Definitely check it out for breakfast if you are staying in or near Sausalito!
Delicious! The food is great! The croissant is super buttery and flaky like the best croissant I’ve ever had! The manager is super sweet and bubbly too! Great place and great staff!
Ordered an espresso and a sparkling water, because I assumed the espresso would come solo, but they also brought out a small cup of sparkling water with the espresso. Very classy! They were out of tempeh bacon for the vegan BLT which was a bummer. I got the avocado toast without cheese instead and it was delicious though. Lastly, they had some outlets available to charge my ebike battery, which was a godsend so I had enough juice to get across the bridge home. Equator is famous for a reason?
Excellent espresso! Went back for a second the first was so smooth. They use a lighter roast for their espresso (the way it should be).
It is a wonder place where locals routinely visit! I had Turkish eggs and it’s a bit spicy but loved this new taste.
Nice cafe with a laid back vibe. We ordered the veggie panini and avocado toast. The panini was excellent, the avocado toast was okay. The oat milk cappuccino was excellent. Indoor and outdoor areas for dining
Strawberry matcha latte was yummy! Choc croissant was good, but by the afternoon some of the pastries don't feel quite as fresh.
Great coffee and atmosphere. Love that dining in provides ceramic mugs for amazing oat milk mochas 😍 Love the veggie panini but there are more fantasy breakfast and vegetarian options - delicious!! ✨
Best breakfast of our vacation! Order at a counter, and they deliver the food to your table. The B.L.A.T (Bacon Lettuce Avocado Tomato) Sandwich rocked my world! Absolutely delicious. We also tried a waffle, spectacular! Both coffee drinks were also great. Casual place with indoor and outdoor seating. Prices to be expected for the area.

Amazing all around. I got the Veggie Panini sans Bell Peppers and they accommodated. Also got a iced caramel latte and croissant. Delicious. Love the vibe and plenty of seating. Also super quick service which was surprising for how busy it was.
Good breakfast options, more modern menu options.
Super nice staff and delicious food options. I had the gluten free waffles which were crispy and topped with fruit and a lemon curd sauce. It was pouring rain so we sat inside but the outdoor area looked fun.
After they have restored having at least one vegan item on the menu (the Vegan BLAT), I am changing my star rating. I am a regular. There is basically one vegan item on the menu, the Vegan BLAT, which I love. I love the staff, i love the ambiance, but they fail to keep the one item I order in stock. Please add one other good vegan sandwich and please let me give you an avocado toast recipe without ricotta cheese that’s great, and I will change my review to a 5, and I will come back!
Wonderful breakfast spot! I ordered poached eggs on top of seasonal vegetables and potatoes and my partner got the avocado toast. We were both very pleased with the freshness and flavor that the dishes provided. Adorable stop in Sausalito, walkable area with adorable shops nearby. We would come again!
I was a complete devotee of Cibo...and fortunately Equator has kept the spirit, menu and vibe in tact. This is the kind of place that becomes a sunday ritual...every time I go it makes me want to go again. I live in Mill Valley, plenty of places to eat there, but Sundays are for Equator Saucilito. Winter Hash, wow!

I love this local cafe and if you can get a seat it’s a great place to hang with a friend and have coffee or lunch. The salads/sandwiches are great but I had the worst blueberry muffin. Dry, barely any blueberries, and small so skip that one and opt for a croissant.
Found this amazing brunch place in Sausalito! The avocado toast was a bit pale but otherwise loved everything which was ordered. The chicken sandwich was delicious and waffles too. Found 2/3 hours free parking just behind the building.

The Vegan BLAT was amazing, and so was the coffee. Would prefer a few more vegan options, but overall was lovely.
I usually just do a quick pick up from their Larkspur cafe, so this was my first time visiting the Sausalito location. The kale caesar with chicken and orange cream matcha were absolutely delicious! My food and beverage came out quickly, but it took them almost 40 minutes to bring out my sister’s meal (we ordered and paid together). Not sure what happened, we had to go in twice to ask about it, but I would still go back for the quality/taste of the food and beverages. Lovely spot to sit outside when the weather is good :)
Good place to have breakfast near the Sausalito waterfront. The place is a cafeteria dinning style, food is good but nothing extraordinary.
It’s the first time in my life I’ve seen someone charge extra for coffee cups when you buy coffee. I think it’s very strange and not normal. The coffee was quite good, but the breakfast was a bit under-salted.

TLDR: If only there had been more than half a cup of anything drinkable between whipped cream & so much ice. I also had to walk, as someone disabled, quite a distance & down steps to get my coffee – after being ignored. When I treat myself to an overpriced coffee, I expect an entirely drinkable drink. Iced coffee with cream shouldn't include cream that's the consistency of a whip, other than as a topping, this was a third of the drink. I did forget to request less ice, no doubt due to having the person I'm ordering from walk away while I was ordering & never return. Once I'd paid, no one said a word & I had to work to grab someone to ask next steps since their pickup station is in another building. Tis disconcerting that I (& my cane ) then had to walk a long aisle with a good (well, bad 😏) number of steps to pick up my pretty but disappointing coffee. Bonus tho', the service at the pickup station was stellar.
Stopped by here to use the restroom and grab a quick bite to eat during a work visit. The guy that tricked me out at the counter was nice and pointed over there to get a to go spoon. Went to the bariata asked if I could have to go silverware (visible on the counter) For the parfait, I just ordered . She said no that the gentleman needed to physically hand me silverware. I had to stand in line again for another gentleman to walk over to the coffe bar and handed a pack to me, right where the barista was lol The interaction felt odd and slightly unnecessary given I had to wait in line again and didn’t seem to be trusted to grab silverware for food I ordered. Just my experience, but the place seemed popular. I don’t think I will stop here again though just because the vibe was off in the parfait was OK.
Really obnoxious menu design, I just wanted the ready-made ham and cheese croissant and the poor guy wasn’t allowed to sell it to me because it ONLY comes as part of a meal. If someone walked into my shop and wanted something I’D ALREADY MADE I’d have just sold it. Nice staff but atrocious managerial decisions, I don’t think I’ll be back.
