Station Pub Sayville Reviews
Visit this place right next to train station!! Waiting on a train in a city I'm not familiar with, going to meet family and find this gem to kill some time - 4 hours actually. After stressful airports and travel, I uber to this spot and I'm so in love ❤️ FRESH CLAM STRIPS AND A BLOODY MARY (fries were killer too!), GREETED AND HANGING WITH THE AMAZING MAN THAT RUNS IT! Got to hang for hours as other nice regulars poured in, didn't even want to leave to get on the train to Montauk!! Wanted to go for Sunday jam days too! Visit this place if you get any chance and you're a regular for life!
Good local place, ok bar food. Friendly bartenders. I like bars that allow well behaved dogs. What more could you want?
Friendly service, great location and the best way to wait for a train
Great little pub. Right near train station so fantastic stop to or from manhattan!

Good food. Great music.. the Sunday open mic is legendary. Truly some skilled musicians.
I love the owner's and staff here. Service is great, food is good and hot. Theme nights are fun. It's nice and inviting.
Hit this place up after fire island, waiting for the train. Not only gay friendly but some if the BEST wings I've EVER had!!! MUST GO.
Awesome bar in a great location. The bartender Eric was very nice as well. Would recommend for a good hang.
I’ve been here for 20 amazing minutes and it’s already my home away from home. The service from Tara and Obi-Wan was beyond my expectations. I am leaving here with so much more hope for the future as I catch my train away from this wonderful oasis. This isn’t goodbye, this is see you later Station Pub 😌
Excellent service and good drink selection. Very kind and generous individuals here! The new owner did a great job cleaning up the place. Will definitely be back on Sunday for their Live music jams!
A little too trendy and upscale for my taste. Regulars are a bit inhospitable and clicky. Owner is very nice though and drinks are fine. Bar stools are fantastic!
Great place, great crowd, and great location. They did a great job redoing this location. Staff is friendly, owners are very welcoming, and a nice place to have a few drinks and good bar food.
Atmosphere is great. Clientele is friendly. Bartender knows his stuff. Quick with drinks. I'll be going back to this bar real soon!!!

Amazing transformation! My first time here since the new owners took over. Great job cleaning up the place. Menu could use some work. Standard bar food.

Food from the truck is really good and fast. Definitely hit the spot. The gigantic soft pretzels are amazing and you can't beat the cheese sauce that comes with it. The menu has a good variety of different picking foods and meal food. I recommend ordering food while there.

Good service. Good music. Very limited beer selection. Wings tasted like the were came frozen pre-cooked from Costco.

As a Latino immigrant who works in the fashion industry and the New york Times, I just wrote an article about my work. I didn't expect such racist experience in this pub bar. When I visited this place 3 weeks ago, I was waiting for my train back to NYC, and I decided to grab a beer because my train was an hour away from the station of Sayville. As soon as I got into the bar, the owner of the place started looking at me weird. It was a group of people around me, and I was the last person who received attention to order a beer. After I got the beer, I asked where the bathroom was, and the owner was making funny of me and bullying. The owner answered me that the bathroom in the middle of the car in the train suggested that I could go there. The bartender, after his response she guia me where the bathroom was. I ignored the comment to do not give the power of what this person was expecting me to answer. After I ordered something to eat and unfortunately the owner was the one who was cooking the food. He gave me a hot dog cold, and when I requested some mayonnaise, he said to me there was no mayonnaise. The bartender tries to serve properly. She brings the mayonnaise. I decided to do not eat the hot dog. I decide to do not eat the hot dog, and I asked for my check. When he saw that, I asked for it, and he didn't give me a bill he took my card, and he charged what he wanted to charge. At this point, I just wanted to get out from there. I can't believe that in NY, people still need education about equality. If people understand that we all are one, the world will be a better place to live on for everyone.
I’ve never been to a bar where the bartender actually stares at you and doesn’t offer any service when there’s only about 10 people in the bar.. she took my empty beer off the bar and I tried to ask for another but she just walked away. My friends asked for shots and she LITERALLY sighed and asked “of what?” Sorry. Are we annoying you? She got ZERO tips from our 20 person party. Instead.. the man behind the bar who is refilling ice and everyone’s beers deserves every tip given tonight. The girl is too busy on her phone to acknowledge anybody at the bar. If my friend wasn’t playing tonight I would have walked out after the first beer. If she was a competent bartender I would have spent 3x as much.. but this bar won’t last long with the way she over pours drinks when she actually gets around to making them. She can’t make anything right. They need to call bar rescue before they go bankrupt. (I’d like to add that none of us are drunk annoying customers.. but paying, sober customers.. all going to other bars so we can actually get a drink)
Owner point blank lied about the food preparation. Said it was done to recipe but it wasn't which wasn't surprising since the person kept being rude about everything else (while using the protective cover of "humor"). Unless you are a local that has a very high tolerance of a "sense of humor", I would suggest avoiding this place.
Poor selection, very tight quarters, not self aware enough to understand a 400 square foot bar can't support a five person band playing. Not a very welcoming environment and not unique enough to visit for the experience.
