Las Cazuelas Taqueria Seaside Reviews
My first visit here and I was not disappointed whatsoever, nor was my coworker. We ordered 2 shrimp tacos, 3 regular cabeza tacos, and the fajita burrito. Holy smokes, the burrito was gigantic, plus delicious! The shrimp tacos were absolutely fantastic, and the 3 cabeza tacos were spot on. I'll certainly be returning with the rest of my crew to let them experience the awesome food, welcoming staff, and nice atmosphere.
A business that has been resilient during COVID & continues to strive! I absolutely love the chip & salsas bar. Enjoyed a carne asada tostada, & a different dish! …French fries topped with cheese/carne asada/guacamole sauce/pico de gallo/salsa & cilantro!
This place has to be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to , the food is super delicious, the prices are cheap! The amount of food they give you will shock you And all the staff are friendly people The place is super clean and the guacamole salsa they have is amazing
We just discovered this place. Had the Super Wet Lenqua burrito and it was amazing! Wife had Al Pastor Super burrito and it, too, was great. The waitress, Kris, was super helpful. Don’t miss this place. It’s worth the detour on the way home!
The Best fish tacos I have had so far in Monterey. I have also tried their cruncy fried potato tacos which is equally delicious. I recomend their green avocado salsa really yummy. They have a lot of vegetarian options which I like because I am mostly vegetarian. If you are in the area you have to try their fish tacos!
I’ve seen this Mexican restaurant now for awhile and decided to give it a try for lunch today and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Chorizo breakfast burrito with everything excluding the refried beans and adding sliced avocado. It was so delicious. When I got home I also noticed they put some chips in there and they were also very good. I enjoyed the salsa bar so I had some great salsas for my surprised chips at home.
This is my partner's and my FAVORITE Mexican place in the area. It is amazing. The staff are nice. Did I mention the food is amazing? Plus their prices are reasonable especially for the amount and quality you get. We get their carnitas super burritos all the time and for $10 those things are two meals for me and taste amazing.

First time visiting. It was pretty good. Some rides and spots were close. But it was a very nice day visiting.
Came here from out of town and stopped by here. Whole family had burritos and we all enjoyed eating here. Salsas and aguas were great too. Service was great, the guy was really nice. Would come by our next visit in town.
Really, really good al pastor burrito! I got the jumbo (meat, rice, refried beans, lettuce, cheese, guac, sour cream, and salsa) with perfectly made al pastor. It's HUGE, loaded, and I can't wait to go back!
If you haven’t been to Las Cazuelas, you’re missing out on fajita greatness. We ordered the fajita mix, and let me tell you, when they hit the table, the sizzling was loud enough to turn heads in the next county. The real star of the night though? Our waitress, Rico. She’s the kind of server who makes you feel like she’s been expecting you all week. She suggested a red wine pairing that turned out to be so perfect, I briefly considered nominating her for a James Beard Award on the spot. The food? Flavor-packed and generous. The service? Quick, friendly, and genuinely fun. Rico even managed to make us laugh while topping off our drinks, which is no small feat when you’re halfway hypnotized by a skillet of sizzling fajitas. If you’re in the area, go. Order the fajitas. Ask for Rico. And prepare to leave very full, very happy, and maybe just a little bit spoiled for other Mexican restaurants.

I think honestly they deserve a 3 1/2 star but that’s not an option. You ask why: well that chips were stale and they are not authentic. The portions are excellent and service is quick. The girl at the cash register greeted us with a smile. The salsa bar was fresh. The bathroom were not the cleanest. I think they can do better.
Very sweet and nice place for great Mexican food. Service is very good. Portion size is great. Food prices are great. Every item was very tasty.

Food is very good. Nice small salsa bar. Service is fast and efficient but they never smile or even look happy.
This is the BEST Mexican food I have had in a VERY long time. I wish they operated closer to where I live. I liked their salsa bar.
A real mixed bag here. Let's start with the positives. This is one of the most beautifully painted Mexican restaurants I've ever been into especially for a counter-service one. Very comfortable with high ceilings high top and low top table seating options. To dining areas. A beautiful salsa bar with fresh everything fantastic marinated carrot onion medley. I can't comment on the meats. I had huevo ranchero ranchera with scrambled eggs. I specifically asked for soft scrambled eggs and I had told the counter girl very specifically and gave her a image to take to the cook. They still brought back eggs that were hard scrambled with brown on them. Pathetic excuse for a cook can't help himself from burning eggs. They didn't even apologize or offer to remake the eggs. That's bad service. On the positive side the portions were huge the rice was cooked well in the beans were delicious. The price was fair for what you get these days I guess including a very well stocks also bar with chips that were delicious. They just need to learn how to cook eggs in this place 🍳🥚😣
The food is okay to good. I always just find the layout makes no sense. You have to order in a hallway in the middle of the restaurant with no way of knowing which way a line should go and people tend to huddle up in this hallway. The service is good but they just come out and toss you your food and say salsa and chips are over there. It meant to be a sit down place but they run it as a takeout place. Its weird.

Fistt time coming here. Had the fish tacos and were lacking flavor. Dint even taste nothing like a fish nor a taco. Chips from chip bar were stale. Two females that were working there seemed nice, they both went within a minute of each other to go check up on the other 2 other tables and ask how everything was , my kid was Quick to point out how come they didnt come here and ask us ? Lol. I might give it another try but order something else

The food is good but the wait staff leaves a lot to be desired. They don't listen & then make excuses when you have an issue. I'll be back but I've lost a lot of respect for them because I didn't get my full order.
Serious ADA Violation Beware if You Have a Service Dog The woman at the counter, Vienney, was shockingly rude and completely unprofessional. Her behavior was unacceptable, especially for someone representing a business. After we politely explained the laws regarding service dogs, that it’s illegal to ask for papers or certificates, she pointed to a sign claiming the restaurant has the “right to refuse service.” Let’s be clear: refusing service or harassing a customer with a legitimate service dog is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Every restaurant is required by law to accommodate service animals and treat patrons with respect. It’s unfortunate, because the food itself was decent, the salsa bar and unlimited chips were nice, and the super burrito was okay, but no amount of food quality makes up for discrimination and disrespect. Because of this incident, I will never return and will be filing a formal ADA complaint for a civil rights violation. No one with a service animal should ever be treated this way.
Horrible experience, cashier lady is a joke rude. I am vegetarian and I ordered a vegetarian tostada which was not that great but when I was eating it I tased something funny. They had meat on my tostada!! I complained and was turned off by the experience. When I confronted the them they showed no concern and the girl just said do you want us to remake it and I said no. Then they asked rudely if I wanted my money back. I said sure that’s fine. They were just looking at me so I sat back down and the young sever brought me the money. The young server was nice but the cooks and the lady at the register are rude and shouldn’t be in the restaurant industry. Update: this food also made me sick, I had food poisoning and was awake all night.
Enchiladas were not good tasting like tomato sauce guacamole was not from avocado more like avocado salsa. Talk about cheap and trying to stretch the ingredients it's embarrassing. Service was also not good big lady in the front had an ugly attitude and should be fired. God bless them here but DO BETTER
