Marin Seattle Reviews
We had a great dining experience at Marin Restaurant. The space feels beautifully renovated with a modern, cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Everything from the ambiance to the overall experience was on point. I would definitely recommend Marin Restaurant to anyone staying at the hotel or visiting Seattle. It’s absolutely worth a visit!
Absolutely delicious brunch!! We had the caesar salad, avocado toast and chicken & Kataifi, all of it was incredible. Chef Robin created an amazing menu and we can’t wait to come back for dinner!
Our server Martha made this an unforgettable dining experience. The dessert is exceptional, and the honey butter bread is to die for - will be back next time I’m in Seattle
Ellie’s service is amazing!! She made me the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. Every time I come to Seattle I have to come and get the midnight mystery🍸
I enjoyed the breakfast at Marin. Food was tasty and well balanced.
Amazing lunch special.
The food was so good. If you’re going, you need to try the espresso martini — absolutely loved it. The tzatziki with the pita was also incredible, very fresh. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back.
We came down for the 2026 Seahawks Super Bowl parade. We got seated, ate quality food, drink service was great and even got outside at the reserved tables to watch the parade. Staff was great, timing was impeccable!!
Really great atmosphere, staff was lovely and the service was top-notch. I visited for their Caspian Lunch Special with my co-worker and enjoyed the chicken falafel wrap. Also loved that it was only $24. Will be visiting again soon!
Marin's ambiance and service are unmatched. The eggs benedict are my absolute favourite for brunch! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new and fresh restaurant in Downtown Seattle
Fantastic! Chef Robin has curated a wonderful mix of cuisine, perfect for every palate. Went for brunch and got the avocado toast. So good! Can’t wait to come back for dinner!!
if the service could go to 6 stars I would've. our server Amanda was phenomenal. we are staying in the hotel attached and stopped in assuming your typical hotel restaurant experience, both Amanda and chef Robin made added some extra touches that blew us away. such amazing and friendly people. and a wonderful place to eat. thank you Marin and hopefully many people give it a try too!
Hats off to the chief 👏 who created the menu. The overall experience was AMAZING. Presentation, taste, and service all deserve 5 stars. I reccomend their hummus plate and trout dip for appetizer.
LOVEDDDD the food at Marin! The staff was so nice and friendly! The fried oysters and the salmon were amazing! Cant wait to go back. :)
I was recently at the hotel and ran across the most amazing bartender, Kelly. I learned he had worked there almost 21 years and I was shocked because he looks so young! He has the best service, listened to what I wanted, and our experience was amazing! Will 10/10 be back next time I’m in town.
Went for lunch. Food was timely and really good! We got the chicken shawarma wrap and fried oyster sandwich. Ryan (server) and Giselle (manager) took good care of us.
The food was delicious! All 5 of us loved what we ordered! The potatoes were amazing! Great service too!
Had the short rib sugo - it was hearty and delicious. Also, Kelly at the bar provided excellent service.
The food was good! I ordered the eggs with labneh and pita and my only tiny complaint is that I wish I was given more pita to scoop up the runny yolk!
Gluten free breakfast sandwich was maybe the best I’ve ever had
Friendly service. Limited veg options but overall great.
An amazing coastal restaurant in downtown Seattle. we'll definitely be back. Try the fried oysters!!!
Amazing Mediterranean inspired food.
Martha was great! Attentive and professional. Food and ambience were nice as well.
Came here for a birthday brunch with my girlfriends and it was perfect. The menu had a great variety to choose from so we split a few dishes. Truly loved each one but the french toast was out of this world! Our server Julian made us feel right at home and made sure everything was top notch. We will definitely be back!
Every time I’m in Seattle, Marin is where I want to eat. I’ve tried a lot of the menu at this point and it honestly never disappoints. The burger is a standout, one of my favourites, and everything on the breakfast menu is so good that it’s hard to choose. It’s one of those places where you can order anything and know it’s going to be done really well. The cocktails are excellent, thoughtfully made and perfectly balanced, and the overall vibe just works. It’s relaxed but elevated, great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I also love the beef sugo on the dinner menu, it’s rich, comforting and something I think about long after the meal is over! Between the food, drinks and atmosphere, Marin has become a must-visit for me every time I’m in Seattle.
I was here as a vendor for an event, and I was completely blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. Giselle and her team made sure I had everything I needed, including a convenient place to store my equipment so it wouldn’t interfere with guests using the photo booth. I didn’t get a chance to try the food this time, but after seeing the care and hospitality firsthand, I absolutely plan to come back to experience the menu. Really looking forward to it!
Stay at the Kimpton Monaco and stopped by for breakfast. The french toast is really good and a must try for breakfast.
Went here a couple times when it was still the Outlier and was never impressed. Was excited to try Marin and see the new space and they did a great job with the interior. Service was good for my group of 6. Food was quite lackluster. Mezze plate was pretty good but came with chips instead of pita because the oven wasn’t working. Multiple people in my group got the chicken shawarma wrap which was quite disappointing and the side of cauliflower was practically inedible it was so acidic. One person got the fried oyster dish which was better but with a fairly limited menu I would have hoped for better dishes.
Spent one nigjt at the Kimpton Monaco in Seattle. Marin ia located in the hotel so qe decided to have dinner and breakfast their. Went for dinner and ordered the Tomato Salad which was ok othwr than it was over-dressed and unfortunately they included unpitted olives in the dish. Not the end of the world but when you bite into an unpitted olive unsuspetingly itcsn be an inpleasant surprise. Tone back the dressing by about half and warn people if there are pits in the olives. Also ordered teh stesk tartare. It was disgusting. It seems every chef wants to do somwthing "unique" with a tartare and while it is nice to see the chef's personality on a plate it is also nice to have the contents of that plate palatable. Change the recipe or pull it from the meni as it is disgusting. I will note, i did not eat the tartare as it was pretty gross but they at least had enough chips on the plate to allow for a complete experience. We tried breakfast the next morning. My lady ordered the oatmeal... hard to screw up oatmeal but they certainly did. It was lumpy mush and we sent it back. I ordered the Northwest Chopped Chicories Salad. It would bave been really good if they would have just toned back on the dressing. Hint to the chef: if there is a 1/4 cup of liquid dressing left on the plate AFTER someone is done eating it then it is grossly overdressed. I like dressing tossed into a salad so yes i want it tossed but you can certainly underdress it a bit and put some extra on the side. When we were seated we received one glass of water each. That glass was never filled again even after the wait staff stopped off at the table multiple times. Piss poor service and borderline gross food. 2 stars only because I reserve 1 stars for truly disgusting meals.
Decent food but the service needs work. I’m a local so this might be a bit of a different perspective on a hotel restaurant. I stopped in for breakfast on my way to work one day since so few restaurants are open early. The recent renovation is great and it is a really nice space. The food was okay. The breakfast sandwich has the makings to be great but the egg was bit over done and very thick, giving the sandwich a bit of an odd texture. The service is what really disappointed me. I walked in from the street entrance and waited at the hostess stand for a while despite multiple staff making and eye contact with me. Someone finally walked over to seat me once I turned to leave. A man I think was a manager was working many of the tables. On multiple occasions when I, and other tables, tried to flag him down he said “just one minute.” Then, he proceeded to just walk around the restaurant looking around. At one point, he walked away from a table in the middle of a customer giving his order just to talk to someone that seemed to be in restaurant/hotel management. I found that quite rude. But, the final straw for me is that they tried to keep my credit card after I paid. I didn’t realize until I was about a block away and had to go back. It turns out the server who processed my check left my card at the register. I’m really disappointed because I thought this could be reliable breakfast option that was open early. If you need to eat early enough that you have no other options, this will do fine. In all other cases, there are far better restaurants nearby.
My husband and I are staying in the hotel for our anniversary, and thought it would be nice to get breakfast. I was pretty bummed because my food was dry and old. The chicken I ordered was clearly fried in very old oil by taste and smell, and it was also likely old chicken as the edges were room temp and the middle was scalding, which led me to believe it was microwaved. Which for $30 is an absurdity. My husband's French toast tasted like lead, which was odd but I'm guessing a dirty pan was used? The bacon was clearly made hours before and cold. The tea was also incredibly bitter, which was a bummer. We paid $90 for a breakfast we thought would be elegant and delicious, and instead were met with old food that was likely microwaved. I'm super bummed, and don't think this should be acceptable.
I’m not the one to give a review but the event that happened this morning ought to be told. Side note, it was our first time visiting Seattle from California. My husband and I (Asian) were waiting to be seated and another couple (Caucasian) behind us were also waiting. Miguel informed us that there is a 10 minutes wait for a table and we said we’ll wait. He then said there are reservation in 30 minutes and the only seats he can give us are the bar. As we about to proceed to the bar, Miguel was about to seats the Caucasian couple to a table. I asked Miguel why they are getting a table when were first. I told him he needs to be fair and give us respect for being there first. I asked the couple if what Miguel is doing to us is right. The lady just said, “ I don’t know, I don’t make rule.” I was not backing down and Miguel finally said he will seats us at a table. The other couple was seated at the bar. I asked myself if we were racially profiled because it would have been a first for us. Mind you, 80% of customers were Caucasians.
