Caffè La Fontana Serina Reviews
We were passing through and stopped for lunch. There were eight of us with three dogs. The atmosphere was quiet and the staff were excellent, very welcoming to our three dogs (which is certainly not a given). We ordered both pizza and food, and it was all excellent! The prices were absolutely fair. Kudos again to the kindness of the staff and the deliciousness of the pizza and food! If we have the chance, we'll definitely be back!
Super delicious pizza, light and easy to digest. Super friendly staff. I had a great time. I recommend it to everyone!
Here I enjoyed one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. Service was friendly and fast. Prices were reasonable considering the high quality of the ingredients used. Recommended!
Excellent pizza, fast and professional service in a pleasant atmosphere in the center of Serina.
A restaurant run by friends in Serina. My daughter and I took a motorcycle tour from Saronno on Ferragosto, having rightly booked about two weeks in advance. The tagliolini with venison ragù and the tagliata with porcini mushrooms and taragna polenta were excellent.
Definitely the best pizza, super-thin, well-leavened dough, excellent ingredients. As the sign says, "It's not enough to be good, you have to be the best," and I must say you nailed it! And by the way... your four-legged friends.
Delicious bacon and onion pizza and the pasta with regular tomato sauce was off the hook! Highly recommended.
Great great pizza place!
Fantastic tasty pizza with "low borders" and very good ingredients also available local mountain cheese ("strachitunt")and mushrooms/vegetables. Ask for the special beers as well!

The pizza was truly excellent, and everyone who works there was very nice. It wasn't the lack of kindness, on the contrary, but my husband and I arrived on Sunday evening with our 5-year-old son Tommaso after being told over the phone that there was room. In fact, at 7:20 PM or so, there weren't many people in the place, but we didn't eat until around 8:15 PM. This excellent pizzeria also does takeout (it's also a restaurant, but we haven't tried it). Takeout is a priority, we imagined... The atmosphere is very nice if you like exposed stonework and old-fashioned furnishings like vintage skis. The bathroom only has a squat toilet and no wheelchair or disabled access; it's too narrow.
I went to this restaurant with my family for lunch. We had both pizza and the house main courses. My family members thought the pizza was very good, as were the tagliata, the Alben main course, and the fantastic grilled fillet! I had the grilled swordfish... I know it's a slightly unusual choice given that we're in the mountains 😂 But I have to admit, it was really good and super tender! We accompanied both my dish and the others' with polenta: one regular, one with mushrooms, and one taragna. It was also good, but it seemed a bit runny. I have to admit, however, that this isn't my first time at this restaurant, and the polenta has always been very good, so I think the consistency was just a glitch today. Attentive staff and average prices. Recommended if you want to try some local cuisine, but also if you want to enjoy a good pizza (even at lunch!)
We went here as they said they were coeliac friendly. It's a lie!! They offer nothing. They can cook a gluten free pizza in an oven that cooks normal pizza. They only cook for gluten effectively, and have nothing at all too offer for coeliacs, not even steak is an option. No matter what you are told, the heat of a pizza oven doesn't not burn away gluten. If you want a gluten free pizza, go down the road 5 minutes to Snoopy, they offer amazing gluten free food.
