Yamazaki Sevilla Reviews
Fantastic experience every time. We are regulars here and the standard of food is consistently high. Fresh sushi, great service, and a lovely location right next to the Setas. Definitely a gem in Seville’s dining scene.
After a week of (even delicious) Spanish food the mood was to have something alternative. So the thoughts went for Asia and we decided to give this restaurant a try. We arrived very early (8pm) so still quite empty but with the time we stayed it filled up. Due to a demonstration on the plaza outside we decided to went inside which is well decorated. In general the whole staff was friendly and help-full in all way. A good thing on the menu is that they have a lot af things also as a “tapa” which gives a possibility to try more of their delicious things. We had as start oysters in a sauce with caviar and edamame. Following sashimi mid with 9 pieces, some Nigiri and finally some Tepanyaki. All fine and well decorated.
The sushi was absolutely delicious, every plate was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. Even the simple maki were outstanding. The staff were very kind and welcoming, which made the whole atmosphere even better. The salmon and scallop tataki were also wonderfully fresh. To top it off, the mochi with chocolate was incredible: the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Definitely a place I’d recommend and can’t wait to visit again!
Really amazing sushi place for dinner. Staff was so friendly, and the food was amazing. We've been to quite some sushi places and we left impressed and ready to go back. Also noticed that they have a lunch menu for €16 pp! We had the tempura mixta, salmon sushi, unagi (eel), temaki (insanely stuffed!), teppanyaki chicken & beef. There are lots of tapa options as well, so perfect for 2 or for a bigger groups.
It is almost hidden away in one of the corners of Plaza de la Encarnación, and it is very small. We saw the restaurant randomly on our was back from the plaza, as we walked by, and we wanted to try it. The restaurant was fully booked the following two nights, so we booked a table, and we were not disappointed. We ordered the chef’s sushi selection of 26 pieces and the seaweed salade with makarel to go with it. As starters we had the chicken gyoza and the tempura shrimps. So delicious. For drinks, we had the Terra Gauda 2024 Riax Baixas white wine that went perfectly well with the sushi. The sushi selection was wide and so beautiful presented. Almost art, which made the whole experience so much better. The decor was modern and was inspired by the Setas just outside the window. A really nice view from the table. We choose to sit inside, but we could sit outside as well. We went there already at 8 PM, and we were the only ones there. Highly recommendable!
Yamazaki more like YUMazaki!!! Stumbled upon this place after checking out the Setas de Sevilla and it was EXCELLENT! PRO TIP: If you stop by during a weekday afternoon, get the MENÚ DEL DÍA. It’s a three course meal, with a starter and dessert. The choices were extensive and everything I had was delicious! At 16€ you can’t beat it!

Excellent Japanese food. Reasonably priced with great service. A good selection/menu. Great location with inside and outside seating. Central too.

My food was out of this world, my waitress was not helpful. She made me feel like a nuisance rather than a customer. I asked for help with menu, she offered none. I was struggling with chop sticks and while she gave the only other occupied table knives and forks, she did not offer to me until I was nearly finished. On a plus side, the food was delicious
I visited Yamazaki after reading many glowing reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was somewhat underwhelming. The interior is elegant and well-designed, and the menu looks promising — but the actual food was just average. The sashimi was decent but not memorable, and the udon lacked depth in flavor. This was my third Japanese meal during my Seville trip, and compared to another Japanese-run restaurant I tried earlier, Yamazaki didn’t quite live up to the hype. Also, the front desk staff felt a bit cold and disengaged, which didn’t help the overall experience. Given the pricing, I had hoped for more in both taste and service.

Went there last night with my daughter. Very good shared bean starter followed by a sushi platter for two. Excellent waitress. Two drinks each plus a plate of strawberry mochi for her. Came to €56.…
So we went to this restaurant and entered in a rush so I understood a confusing reaction of the waitress, till there it was alright. She politely went to us and managed to give us a spot but when it got to the food I was literally shocked, chicken is undercooked and really tastes bad, the pasta is not for ramen at all, it feels like they bought all the products from the nearest grocery store and cook it ASAP, but don’t see the quality of it. Service is good, the waitress went and asked about the food she was interested why we didn’t finish it, when I told the reason, she smiled and apologised. I do not recommend this restaurant at all because of the food, if u want some asian food I recommend u to search any other asian restaurant nearby.
