I love this place. The owner Brandon is really nice and the patrons are very friendly. They do an open mic night on Tuesdays, come read your poetry, or play your music. Everyone is really supportive and encouraging. Good beer and wine options. It's a wonderful spot for the locals to hang out at. Follow their Instagram for updates on upcoming events like karaoke on Fridays. I'll definitely be back often.

Definitely a cut above the rest atmospheres relaxing, quiet calm cozy, some romantic low lights low tone casual music with a few extra touches of ambiance creates an invigorating experience. Paired with American culture of open mic poetry readings with a diverse range of 22 to any age range mostly well balanced karaoke on Fridays and basic bar nighttime amenities. Different than all the other places this is a great spot to relax. Come read your poetry out loud 4 televisions to catch the most current news and sports Play your saxophone violin or your rave for your design. Rant about the game of life. This is a perfect first time place, friendly, supportive, and welcoming with hard alcohol being off full choice leaves a mellow environment wine being poured beer on tap and a convenient cigar shop next door and a southern hospitality lounge on the other with a lot of other places right in the area, afterwards or early for dinner have a drink before. this is that kind of place and you’ll always feel like you’ve been there forever

Stopped by Aftermath during the day and had a great experience. The watermelon and lime seltzer was on point, refreshing and delicious. The bartender was super professional and kept everything spotless, which is always a good sign. We came with a big group, and there were only a few other people there. By the time we left, it was completely empty, so if you’re looking for a solid spot, show them some love and pull up! Would definitely come back, great drinks, clean vibe, just needs more people to catch on.

The environment is always welcoming and Brian never fails to remember my drink order :) And he even takes it upon himself to put a coaster over your drink if you walk away from the bar for any reason. A great place to spend an evening without breaking the bank!

The vibes are spooky friendly. You meet amazing people. They host trivia and karaoke, which is awesome. The only side note is ladies if you are intoxicated, he will take advantage (make out and do other things) and says drinks are on him when in fact they are not. Not worth the trouble.

I came here for the first time for pop karaoke night, and it seemed like most of the people there were regulars who all knew each other. It's a small place and the decor didn't really feel like it matched the vibe, and the karaoke set-up was not very good. It was really hard to hear the backing music, even when you were the one singing, but this isn't the type of place that you come to "perform" for karaoke like a lot of other places in LA. It's very casual and low-pressure. Song choices were all over the place (which isn't necessarily a good or bad thing). Late night happy hour menu was decent and they offered it from 9pm on that night, and the place did get packed to standing room only. I had a hard time finding info on what their happy hour was before we went, so I took a picture to share. This was on 2/6/2026. The bartender, Brian, was very friendly, but I realized when looking at the emailed receipt afterwards that he switched one of my sibling's drinks on my tab, and I'm assuming mine got put on theirs. We have the same last name, so I understand the mix-up, but it would have been nice if he just asked about who was who instead of assuming, and it also would have been nice to see an itemized receipt before paying instead of just seeing the dollar amount we owed. Not a huge deal this time, just something that I hope they will keep in mind in the future. For food, my partner was able to get a pizza from a place across the street and bring it back into the bar, and Brian was kind enough to offer extra napkins. For other people with back problems, be aware that their bar stools do have back rests on them, but no cushions. We had a good time, and this bar seems to host special events regularly, which we may go back for eventually if the right one comes up, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here.

Please tell your customers in the back alley to keep it down and not yell and scream. Next time we’ll call Lapd for noise ordinance violation, public intoxication, etc.

This bar is unbearably loud and completely out of control. Patrons regularly scream at the top of their lungs, creating a hostile and disruptive environment for anyone nearby. This is not a concert venue or stadium, yet the noise level is extreme, excessive, and constant. Karaoke nights are held multiple times a week, and the volume is so high that it blasts out onto the street and into the surrounding neighborhood. Even after leaving the area, the noise remains unavoidable, forcing the community to endure this disturbance on a regular basis. Management is fully aware of the situation and has taken NO action to address it. The business has no doors, allowing noise to pour outside while also leaving the interior freezing and extremely uncomfortable. This establishment shows complete disregard for noise regulations, patron safety and comfort, and the surrounding community. I will be requesting a city inspector to formally review and investigate this situation.
