A great family place, always received with a friendly greeting. The food is great and their service is good and fast. They always have space to accommodate your big parties. It is not a fast food place, so if you are planning to visit, take your time to sit, relax, and enjoy your time.

When she came to our table and asked “Was the food okay?” our reply was a Defiantly NO !!! It’s not Okay . . . She stepped back and asked why / what was wrong . . . Then we said “It’s Not OKAY it’s DELICIOUS !!!” It’s Always Delicious in our book. We’ll always keep coming back !!!

I travel weekly for work and finding cheap, healthy, quick options has become increasingly hard. Luckily, the never ending soup and salad was an option! Friendly service and quick in and out!

Rating ToGo Service: Overall, we have never had any issues with ToGo. Food is packed well and food is always delicious. Favorite dish. Shrimp Scampi. Also, I recycle/reuse their ToGo plastic ware.

Ordered the lunch fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken. So yummy. The service was good. It was just really weird. We had like 4 or 5 different waiters. I don't know what happened, but the food was great. It felt like we were passed on cuz nobody wanted to wait on us. That's all.

After several Dr. Apt , we decided to try Olive Garden. We were met by Happy Smiles at the door. We got seated next to a group of 10 and our waitress was busy with them. A young man Armand Rodriguez attended to the two of us. He was very attentive and ready to supply us with whatever we needed. We asked if any of our dishes had pork, or peanuts. He refilled our drinks, made suggestions based on our preference. He was pleasant and seemed to really listen to what we were wanting. He made US feel like VIP. {{Armand, you made our experience today a very Very pleasant one.}} Management should scoop him up because he would be the only reason, I would go back! The place did have a smell of Parmesan cheese and it was overwhelming! So much that we almost decided to get up and leave before we ordered. The food was fresh, and hot. Very tasty chicken Alfredo (it was $16.99 for lunch plate with salad and bread sticks). The serving was big. Enough for two portions. The bread sticks were hot and fresh. Armand offered us a sample of different beverages, and I did end up bringing home a bottle of their syrup. The place looked clean, the silverware did have spots. Would I recommend this place? Yes, but make sure you have enough in the bank$$!

Firstly, I’ve been attending this restaurant’s business for a little over 4 years with my wife, but NEVER have I gotten service the way I did yesterday! My server tended to my family and our needs with a smile, but not just ours. I noticed he was attentive to ALL of his seated tables… ALL WITH A SMILE! His positive energy made me write this positive review, and he deserves it. I got my appetizer before my meal, first corse was wonderful and our entrées took a while, but he made sure we had soup and drinks refills till our heart’s content. You could SEE how fast pace he is, the aspersion this man has is remarkable! Service like this should be acknowledged, you’re doing great Zeph!

I know Olive Garden isn’t great Italian food, but for damn-near fast food this is pretty good food for the price. Now, I’ve had bad food at the OG (you gotta stir the food halfway through the microwave guys), but I’ve always had good food here. The service is good. To be honest, I’d eat behind the building if I could dip those breadsticks in my fettuccine Alfredo.

Usually always exceptional! But they don’t train their staff long enough. I felt so sorry for our server. She should not have been left on her own yet. She struggled and it affected the service we received. We got no spoon to stir my dad’s tea. No lemons we asked for the water. No breadsticks. No dressing or croutons for the salad. The food was borderline cold. Not her fault. Is why I still give a 5 ⭐️ review. Great effort for her 2nd day 😊

Olive Garden is a great place to enjoy your pasta and salad. The salad had a free refill (surprisingly) and we were able to share with everyone. It takes a bit of getting used to the smell though, as the place smells of cheese. Other than that, the service was commendable and the ambience of the place was relaxing.

It's overpriced Americanized Italian food, but we keep coming back because it's tasty, the service is great, and it's a nice, quiet atmosphere.

Service is usually good there. Even if at times the food might take awhile , I always enjoy my food; and there is usually a waiting period to sit.

I really love Olive Garden. I miss my favorite waitress. Young lady named Kaylyn she was the sweetest ever to me and my hubby. Still a good place. I wish I can go back to 3 years ago.

We always enjoy our time at Olive Garden. It's the original classic fancy restaurant. Their food is always good. Breadsticks on point, salad was good. My wife and I like that they have lunch portions. Which are still pretty generous. I had the Ravioli with meat sauce. My wife had the fettuccini with shrimp. Son had the kids fettuccini with chicken. I think my ravioli was the winner. My all time favorite is the pasta Chicken carbonara. I love that. Next time. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that it is a little pricey. Not crazy but you do get a lot for it. So you could even split the dinner portions with someone and it is enough. Trust me. They will even split it onto two plates for you. If you don't know that it might scare the more frugal people away. I think everyone should be able to enjoy these entrees. You can't go wrong with anything there.

My previous rating on this establishment was one☆, due to the lack of customer service and food not looking appetizing. However, after trying this location again i wad pleased with their food and service. Mgr Adan was great about caring for customers, and the food was great.

Food was good, quick service and didn't take long to get a table. Biggest complaint i have is server was anxious to take our plates while we were still eating and when I was packing our food into to go boxes at end she took 2 of the dishes of food before I could pack them. Other then that it was all great.

Food was mediocre, as expected. But the service was great! Salad is always refreshing, the eggplant Parmigiano was great, but the spaghetti was less than average. Sauce lacked flavored and was almost cold. Was not expecting anything special, but was hoping f9r something better than I could make at home.

The food is good ! It used to be a lot better but the service it gotten really bad , sometimes is decent but most of the time bad , then the want to make you feel like you're the bad person , like for an example, we order an appetizer then 10 minutes later we order our food but our food came out before our appetizer ,and i can go on and on with the whole experience but it would be a duper long review. Had the soup & salad for a quick lunch. Ordered the Zuppa Toscana, but was dissapointed. The soup did not look good, it seemed like I was getting something days old. The taste was also very dissapointing. The breadsticks were way too toasted for my liking. The salad was good and the server did an excellent job. I will give them another chance, hope it doesn't happen again.

Service was fine, very professional and friendly but they do miss a few details like leaving the sticker on the lemon wedge in your water, no silverware. The food was...eh. Now I know why I don't go as often because the food is so bland and ridiculously overpriced. I ordered the steak (medium) with parmesan crusted zucchini, and a side of fettuccine Alfredo pasta. But the steak was seared on one side and the bottom nothing! And it honestly look like a burger Patty. I know they're not an upscale restaurant, it's a chain restaurant so all their stuff is frozen. But I probably won't be going back. Oh and the amount of plates they use..is it only me that I find that really annoying. It covered the whole table just for 2 people. I even told my waitress I'm fine with the one side plate but decided not to listen and left me tons of plates on the side. Okay. 😑

Wonderful place and nice staff 👌 I just wish they came around more often when my drink is empty, so I didn’t have to call them over. Also, the food sometimes has bad sides (spoiled) and has to be redone. Other than that, it’s a fairly good place.

Asked for angel hair noodles and got spaghetti noodles. On 3 separate occasions she kept telling me I will get your coke. My meal was almost done by the time she finally brought it. When I told her about the wrong noodles she said no worries we won't charge you extra. I said I hope not you messed up!

The staff was very nice, especially the waitresses. My food was pretty good including the salad, but my mother got the Tour of Italy meal and her chicken was overcooked so it was hard for her to cut. They did bring her a new one that was better but food should always be made good the first time! Other than that, everything else was good.

Our waiter, Carlos, was pretty much AWOL. We had a few different people bring us our plates ( appetizer, salad, entrees, and refills ) but never him. Was he around? Sure was. We were probably just sitting in an invisible bubble. Anyhow, the food was pretty much average. Salad was very scarcely spread. Breadsticks were way too salty but other than that, everything else was decent. Wait time was Minimal and the ladies up front were very busy getting people to their tables.

Walked in, went to restroom while waiting to be seated to find multiple waitresses in the restroom HANGING OUT, making going to the wash room a bit uncomfortable, only to over hear them complaining about their tables and to end up with one of the ones complaining as a waiter. Food was great, but waiters need better training. Had to ask multiple times for a refill and was left talking when asking questions.

I’ve noticed lately that the Togo soup has been little or non-existent barely 1/3 of the bowl is filled. The picture is how it arrived. At first I thought I was a one time thing and now I’ve noticed it’s every time I get soup Togo Just disappointing. Especially because I love the soup. The potatoes were also undercooked

Three of us went. My mom & I received our order perfectly. My Aunt did not get her salad at all and kept asking for it. The waiter kept saying he’d bring it… never did and finally said, “I threw it away”!

Food was delicious and our waitress was wonderful my only complaint was the women's restroom. VERY VERY DIRTY! Yes I told them (2) toilet needed flushing toilet paper all over on floor and no toilet paper. Went back 30min later and it had not been taken care of. Told the young lady in the front again. Before leaving went again the clean-up could have been better and still one stall had no toilet paper.

Me and my girls love to come to this location, we prefer Harlingen over Weslaco. HOWEVER, this particular day we came to enjoy dinner at around 8pm and were disappointed with the SERVER, his name was Zeff. To start, we were sat at a table and asked him if we could move to a booth right across and he proceeded to tell us “that booth is closed off”. That’s fine we understood…up until they sat people at the same booth like 15 minutes later. 🤨 He kept forgetting to bring our drinks after we reminded him twice. Then all I ordered was soup and salad and my girl ordered a salad as well. We were brought ONE salad, ate it, and when we asked for another, the server told us “We apologize the salad bar is closed”. Confused, we questioned him why so early since we’ve been here later than 8pm before and they’ve still brought salad out to us. He convinced us the salad bar was “closed” and he offered us more soups. While waiting for the soups, we start seeing other servers bring salads to tables. This is when we asked for a manager. At this point we are furious. The manager comes and she tells us she will bring out the salads. So this man lied to us, not once but twice and we’re assuming was just too lazy to make another damn salad. After this altercation, all of a sudden he was bringing us more salads. Way to ruin my girls birthday, we just redeemed our free dessert TO GO. We have never had a problem before. The dine in experience this night was not what we expected.

I believe customers should have the discretion to determine the tip amount when dining here. For instance, if my bill was $100 and I chose to leave a $20 tip, I don't think it's appropriate for the waiter to imply that they expected $40. Fortunately, I still left the original tip despite their comment. However, my experience was marred by poor service, including a drink that wasn't refilled throughout dinner and a table that received minimal attention. The excuse given was that they were prioritizing larger tables. Given the already high prices, being told my tip wasn't sufficient is off-putting. This experience has deterred me from returning, and in the future, I might not leave a tip at all.

My family and I stopped to eat today at Olive Garden in Harlingen ,Tx and we got seated around 4:15pm . We waited into 4:45pm but the waitress or anyone never showed up we went to talk to the ladies in the front and let them know about the situation but they just stayed quiet and did not say nothing so we just left we have been coming to this restaurant for years and this had never happened. This was really bad service Hope this review helps avoid this kind of service to other customers

Tried to place an order at 10:10 PM when they’re website clearly says they close at 11:00 PM they refused to take my order because it was after 10:00 PM if that is the case please do better and update you’re google page because that is just ridiculous you should just close by 10:00 PM I mean that’s essentially what you’re doing anyway might as well be honest and stop letting your loyal customers down I’ve never been told this in McAllen, Brownsville or any other location that I’ve ordered from in the valley except for this location ridiculous super dissatisfied and disappointed honestly this is why businesses do not last in Harlingen 🤦🏻🤷🏻‍♂️

My experience from this location was very different because my sister and I were expecting to get bread sticks before ordering anything. They told me they do not serve no breadsticks before the food the bread is served with the food and this is something new for me. I order a grilled chicken alfredo pasta in the portion that I got was very small for the price that I had to pay. Top it off the pasta was hard and it was cold. 🤮

We didnt get served nor were we acknowledged. The servers were just walking around the restaurant. It was so rude so we just left.

They brought my food out on a dirty dish. It had sticky residue on the edges. Waitress was very nice. She apologized and told I will be eating somewhere else.

There was no wait and were seated immediately. After sitting down for 11 minutes and not being attended to by any of the waiters in the surrounding area, we decided to leave. I recommend going somewhere else.

Got our drinks. Waiter dropped one got soda all over table. He came back with a new drink. Then came back with our food. Ordered unlimited soup salad. Never asked if we wanted more. After all that he never cleaned up the spilled drink he spilled on our table.

Went in for an early bday lunch with a friend. We specifically chose to eat here because they had sent me a coupon for a free desert or appetizer. I ordered an appetizer and when it came time to pay, they insisted my coupon was only for a free dessert even though the coupon clearly said dessert OR appetizer. The manager comes out and keeps telling me it’s for dessert only (the coupon even has a pic of an appetizer on it). She kept insisting it didn’t work or that maybe it was expired(coupon didn’t expire till the following month). Manager just walks off without saying anything and never came back out. They finally did comp the app but just overall unpleasant experience.

Not sure what happened to this Olive Garden, either new management or lack of management. We got curbside , lunch portions which I understand are smaller than dinner portion, but I’ve had it before. Today my lasagna was about 1.5 in X 1.5 inches big , bite sized, With lots of sauce and on the side to make it look bigger . I posted picture to compare lasagna size to breadstick and it was about 1/4 size of breadstick. Plus it was way flatter than the breadstick. I called to inquire About size and the guy that answered told me prices went up . I told him I didn’t ask that I understand prices went up but does that mean portion sizes went down. He said yes. Wow . Plus my lasagna was hard & only had two layers of pasta. I remember the lasagna being my favorite and having layers of pasta stacked up . Not anymore . My son got the chicken Alfredo and it was hard and didn’t taste good at all . What happened ? The server also forgot kids drink. To think I also paid gratuity for bad quality and service. I will never visit this Olive Garden again.

I went for lunch during teacher PD day so I was looking forward to a long lunch and delicious meal for a change. My coworkers and I were one of the first teachers groups to arrive, yet our food came late, the lasagna was cold, the soup was cold, and our server didn’t even have the courtesy to place our plates in front of us. Instead, she gave the drinks and food to one of us to pass around the table. The manager did not apologize for the delay with the food, she just made an excuse for the lunch rush. We ate in a rush as we were literally the last group to get our food and we even had to walk out towards the lobby to find our waitress to pay our bill because we had to rush back to work. And, my lunch portion cost almost TRIPLE the amount of a kids meal that my coworker ordered and her serving was larger than mine. Manager, do better.
