No admiten tarjetas.
Espectacular! Hemos salido a reventar...
A fantastic experience! The food was delicious and plentiful, from the homemade treats. I ordered the mountain stew (absolutely delicious) and a perfectly cooked beef steak, just the way I asked for it—it was spectacular! The owner was incredibly helpful and even insisted I take home any leftovers. It was also super affordable. There were four of us, and none of us finished the meal. We were from Huelva, and a relative recommended it. I'll definitely be back and will recommend it to everyone. Thank you for everything!
It's said that a secluded spot between Comillas and Santillana del Mar is where a charming but somewhat lost couple arrived with no recommendations other than that the aforementioned place was on their route. Having made a reservation, we were incredibly lucky that a table became available within a minute of asking, which we gladly took after the warm welcome from the owner. As for the food, it's far too generous unless you're vying to be the biggest eater in your town. My plate of chickpeas with prawns overflowed onto the plate below, and the potato salad could feed Julio Iglesias's first ten children. For our main course, we ordered two cachopos (breaded and fried veal cutlets) out of necessity, since one is perfectly enough for two people. And given the quality of the ingredients and the fact that you take it away in a lunchbox, it's perfectly preserved for the next day... and so it was. Needless to say, everything was delicious. As for the desserts, they'd sweeten even the pickiest eater (nothing could be more unruly), and both the chocolate cake and the sobao cake are 100% homemade. The price of €24 per person is a steal considering you can eat the leftovers another day. Highly recommended, but reservations are advisable.
We went at 1:30 p.m. and it was already full. They don't take reservations, the service is good, fast, and the food is very good. The portions are generous (see photos), and the price is €20, including coffee. I didn't take photos of the desserts, but most of them are also large and homemade. On weekends, the price is €24.
Thanks from a peregrino!
Amazing experience!!! And great vibe with humor! Obviously generous portions as already said by others... Great place to experience abut of local athmosphere.
Excellent!
So...much...food! Delicious and lovely staff. Thoroughly recommend!
Awesome!
WOW
Very good Food and cheap .
We went looking for a set menu, and based on the restaurant's reviews, we went there. We found a 20-euro cash menu with a variety of starters, main courses, and desserts. The food was obviously homemade, and the most distinctive feature is the portion sizes you're served. EAT UNTIL YOU ROLL OUT. The staff encourages you to have seconds on every dish, and even refills your plates to overflowing with the stews. We assume it's a trademark, but we found the amount of food and the insistence on the part of the staff somewhat overwhelming. With the desserts, which were the same size as the rest of the dishes, we found them impossible to finish. The staff was fast, and the owner of the restaurant makes himself felt in the dining room with his orders. We would return for the quality of the food and the service, but the insistence on eating and the exorbitant portions make you think twice, as you'll leave feeling stuffed.
Homemade, delicious, and very filling food, you'll definitely leave well-fed. They have a good variety of dishes (approximately 7-8 starters, 7-8 main courses, and 7-8 desserts), so you're sure to find something you like. Important to know: - Reservations are not allowed during the week, and it tends to fill up quickly. It's recommended to arrive by 1:00 PM. - No card payments. - You can only dine from the daily menu; in fact, there's no price list or anything. The menu cost us €20 per person.
Not the most enchanting of venues. The food is abundant although a tad coarse...very little detail paid to presentation. The emphasis seems to lie heavily on quantity. Notwithstanding, the quality of produce used is good. The building could do with a total overhaul. It is unwelcoming and cold.
15e for menu del dia. So much food. Unfortunately, it's likely my partner got food poisoning from here. Her Carne salsa was slightly undercooked when served and was the only thing we didn't share all day. For balance, i was fine and i thought the food was ok.
After waiting for 1 hour we left. Disastrous customer service.
