K-Bbq Korean Bbq Simi Valley Reviews
I'll make this quick and simple as I know you're already starving. 🤙🏽 Parking, plenty ✅ Food, delicious and fresh ✅ Service, professional ✅ See pictures. You'll also see our service in one of photos. You are lucky if he serves your grill. 💯
I was very impressed by the quality of the meats—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We ordered the prime brisket, pork belly (both regular and thinly sliced), and the beef belly—all of which were high quality and absolutely delicious. The sides were also great, with a nice variety of options. Some of my favorites were the radish wrap paper, the corn cheese, and the radish soup—so tasty and well-prepared! The service was excellent. Our server was great—anytime we wanted more sides, they brought them out quickly and with a smile. The owner was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Another huge plus is that they have a parking lot, which is so convenient and rare to find in this area. One thing we weren’t a fan of was the automatic service charge (tip), as we usually prefer to decide that ourselves based on the experience. That being said, we still had a great time overall. I’m so happy this place opened up—it’s definitely a new go-to spot for KBBQ, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!
Yeah AYCE kbbq in Simi Valley!! Omg the meat is high quality!!! I love their meats!!! Its so soft it melts in your mouth! Their service is great and quick. Interior is clean and chic. Its under new ownership so it's very clean all around! I would highly recommend to friends and family. Great for big parties and lunch&dinnet. Casual eat out!
Went with my 10 year old son, and we both couldn't have been happier. We did the Soya-A all you can eat option, ordered each of the beefs, (brisket, seasoned beef, bulgogi, beef belly and marinated beef belly), plus the teriyaki chicken. All of it was delicious. My son wouldn't try any of the kimchi, cucumber salad or fish cakes, but I did and they were good, perfect balance of heat and flavor. The fried dumplings were great. As far as service goes, top-notch. Food came quickly, the servers were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend giving it a try. We will definitely be back.
Update: Great Job! Authentic Korean food. I ordered vegetable fried rice and sweet and sour chicken amazing taste, large portions and the sauce was very tasty. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and very tender in the center and seasoned just right. The rice was fluffy with fresh vegetables and tossed with the best spices. My experience was very pleasant and I am telling my friends, family and other nurses and doctors, and thank you Dr. Tran for highly recommending to go to Soya K-BBQ! I had the leftovers this morning with scrambled eggs, So good! Amazing menu highly recommend. Good Luck my friends. I know God has a smile and twinkle in His eye. I had the supreme honor to meet Katelyeen, co-owner of this new establishment. Simi Valley has a new star Soya K-BBQ restaurant. Located behind McD’s. 2331 Tapo Street Unit A & B. Very cool vibe with great music. Super clean and seating accommodation is pristine.
Just discovered an incredible Korean restaurant in Simi Valley! Tried their Brisket JJamppong Jeongol—absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

The best Korean BBQ in Simi Valley hands down, everything was amazing!
Better now that it’s under new ownership! All the staff were super nice and friendly. Meat and sides were great! The bulgogi was delicious. I highly recommend any KBBQ fans check this place out!
First time we ate at this place with the new owners. Very satisfied! Their meat was very high quality, service was good. We will be back. Highly recommend.
The meats here taste like they’re really good quality, and the brisket and beef belly were both delicious reliable options for us. Some of the best staff we’ve had at any KBBQ spots with how attentive and kind they were. We recently catered for our friend’s 6 year old’s K-Pop Demon Hunters themed birthday, and they went above and beyond with the whole order. They sat down with our friend to find out which meats would be the best for the birthday party, and they increased the portion size to make sure everyone was able to get enough. We recently went in to dine and they remembered us from the catering order, so we were able to tell them the catering order was a HIT at the party and everyone had something good to say about their food. We were eventually the last ones in the restaurant, so they changed the playlist to the whole soundtrack from the K-Pop Demon Hunters movie. Overall such a great experience because of how great the staff and the food was. We’ll be going back soon :)
Just finished eating here while the memories are fresh (just like their meats). Friendly and attentive staff, great quality meats, and at fair prices. My fiancée has high standards with these types of establishments and she compares them to the kbbq’s we’ve had in KTOWN LA and Soya definitely belongs. Would go back here again!
The waiter was great! Super fast! Super attentive! The meat was delicious 🤤 I’m normally super picky with my food but everything was great. The sides paired so well with the brisket and spicy pork belly ❤️🔥
The best beef brisket I have has globally!! I have had over 20 KBBQs. This is #1 for beef brisket! Tastes like grass fed butter! Great service
Love their seasoned beef, beef belly and beef tongue. Ask for garlic, jalapeño and bean paste sauce and the rice paper. Put meat on top of rice paper top with garlic and jalapeño then bean sauce. Roll it up and it eat together- trust me it is bomb!
I was craving some KBBQ in Ventura county and this place was SO GOOD. The meats seemed to be high quality and so many options for a reasonable price. Also the workers were so attentive and helpful. They offered to changed our grills regularly without us asking which was very nice. Can't wait to come back:)
EXCELLENT. My husband and I went to Soya BBQ (new ownership) and it was so much better than the prior Korean BBQ. We had the all you can eat options B or C recommended. The service was attentive, the sides were well flavored, fresh and the PREMIUM meats are FRESH and not frozen like others were so soft and had the most flavorful taste ever. There were lots of options to choose from and it was very clean. We have been to many Korean BBQ’s and this one makes the very top making it one of our favorite restaurants ever. It has the fresh authentic flavors that you are looking for. Very tasty and satisfying. I would give it 10 plus stars and we are foodies.
Amazing customer service the food is immaculate and so delicious!! I would highly recommend this Korean barbecue place to anyone who wants great service and great food!!!
One of better Kbbq place we’ve been to. Comparable or even better than Ktown in LA.

Man where do I begin, as a Korean I’ll say this is THE spot for kbbq. This is the best spot in the area, and I come here all the time. Best service, quality, and price. Let an actual Korean tell you wassup

Food was delicious everything was so fresh. The people that work there are very friendly and courteous and very attentive. I will definitely be going back again.

I’m afraid to say this isn’t authentic KBBQ - from someone that lived in KTown. Kimchi was bland and needed to ferment longer. Meats are good quality. Service is fast and attentive. It’s also expensive starting at $35/person for basic cuts of meat (no galbi). I’ll keep driving to the valley for authentic and affordable kbbq. Edit regarding kimchi: I've had both types and your fresh kimchi was bland and flavorless.

Place denied me service because it was just me trying to eat there. Said they have a policy where you must have more than 1 person to be able to eat there. Did not even let me have take out. Also the place was totally empty there were 2 tables being used currently at the time leaving multiple tables open. Bummer cause i was excited to go but definitely won’t be back or recommending this place. Never hear of a policy that requires you to have more than one person to eat at a restaurant. Also, nothing on their website that states that either.
