Tio's Cafe

They accommodated our whole family of 30 plus, some vegetarians and some meat eaters. The service and the food was amazing and the staff so friendly and kind. They brought our food and everything we needed so quickly. I highly recommend this establishment. 😁♥️

Been here a few times now. The booths are comfortable, the staff is always friendly and food is tasty and hearty. Feels like home!

We've been here a few times and havent been disappointed. It gives a cozy classic diner feel and helpful staff. The corned beef Reuben is my favorite. Thinly sliced, tender and not fatty at all. If you want an eggs n things vibe without the stomach ache then definitely come here. Perfect hidden gem.

Tio's is my #1 place to eat. I've had breakfast, lunch & dinner here & every meal is delicious. The portions are perfect. Everything is fresh. Items are cooked as requested. The homemade salsa is so good on hash browns & omelets. All of the staff are friendly & attentive. They remember customers, which makes everyone feel welcome. The place is clean & comfortable. It's a diner with a homey feel. This restaurant is a gem. UPDATE: They now have homemade ice cream. It's delish!

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. The food, so good. You can't go wrong. The wait staff, so friendly. If you are a foodie or in need of great food at an extremely reasonable price, please visit. We are not fans of chains and this place is why.

The service is exceptional. There are many restaurants in Simi Valley but I always dine at Tio's Cafe. Carlos ( my server whom I always ask for) is fantastic! Friendly. Kind. He makes you feel like part of the family. I tell all my friends and family to dine here ( and I have many). The food is absolutely delicious! Always a wonderful experience. Thank you so much! Amazing New Place in Simi Valley The food came out really fast, tasted perfect. The best part was our server Rosie was super attentive. She always came by the booth we never had to ask for anything, it's like she intuitively read our minds. Super sweet. Thank you for making our first experience a pleasurable one.

My friend took me there 4 breakfast and i had never been there before nor have i heard anything about this place. Walking in i unsure at first. The server greeted us right when we walked in which i loved. We sat ans order breakfast I had the french toast combination My friend had some kind of breakfast burrito I must say when he brought our food i was in shock at how much food there was. The burrito was huge!! My french toast came on two plates. I must say there was a lot of food. My french toast was awesome. The staff was super friendly I will be going back there 4 breakfast again Just next time ill make sure im hungry Great breakfast spot

Besides the food being delicious (their carrot muffins are to die for!) and the service perfect, I thought I may have accidentally left my cheapie reading glasses there. I called a couple days later to check and the owner sent me pics of the ones she had collected. Mine were there. Then she INSISTED on DELIVERING them to me. The next day her son dropped them off to my door. WOW! That’s was above and beyond any service I’ve ever gotten anywhere. And very appreciated.

Delish & tasty food! Decent amounts of it, average prices, good quality, homemade stuff, standard menu, friendly and fast service. The pancakes are good, but the waffles are unbelievable. Their carrot muffin is served hot, fresh, homemade-like, and with butter gives you a seratonin experience. Premise and bathrooms are clean. I wish they could stay open until 8:00 pm. They close at 3:00 pm. This place is a good cafe and has a great menu to eat by yourself or to invite anyone. A good place for chatting. I truly recommend it.

Only had the pleasure of dining in at Tio’s once B.C. (before Covid). The service was good and the establishment clean. In the last few months I order breakfast for pickup. The people that take my order are always friendly and the breakfast burritos are amazing and the homemade salsa is delicious!

I ordered the breakfast burrito from Uber eats. My food was hot, fresh, delicious and filling. I will try other items in the menu soon!

At this point, nothing has happened. We heard that there will be apartments coming into the left section of this plaza. Seems everything has been put on hold.

Came here for dinner. Great food, service, Ambience, background music and TV. Fair prices. Breakfast all day which made my child happy. She got the pancakes which were Mickey Mouse shape. It came with eggs and sausage. No photo because they tore into it. We had the burger combo. Solid good ol burger with seasoned fries and deli pickle. Chicken strips are battered pieces of chicken not generic strips. Definitely coming here again.

The service is awesome...our water and coffee cups were always full. We really enjoyed our breakfast...we will be back!!

My husband ordered the corn beef hash, 2 eggs and hash brown potatoes and I had the Soyrizo omelet and hash brown potatoes (Chorizo was an option). When our food arrived we received 2 slices of toast each with homemade peach and strawberry jam along with a container of green salsa. With 1 coffee our price was about $23.00. The restaurant is very clean and the employees were very friendly. "I'll be back, for sure!"

First time here to eat breakfast . The egg's Benedict was awesome. It was one of the specials on the backside of the menu. The owner showed me where it was and it was awesome. Poached eggs were done perfectly. Sausage Patty was homemade! They make all of their sausages there and they have a large variety of sausages to choose from. Hollandaise sauce was exquisite and they also make their own homemade salsa which was fantastic perfect tasting. A little spicy - got a good kick but the flavor is wonderful!😊😋🤗 Oh and they also make their own jams and jellies there they don't buy any of it. I haven't found a place like this that makes so much on their own. I will be back for sure!!!😉😉 P.S. the apple pineapple jam is awesome!!! 😍

Top-notch service! The waiter was the friendliest restaurant professional I've ever met... after I ate, I was about to ask him if he wanted to grab a beer and shoot the sh!t! The food was very good. I ordered the eggs benedict, a dish that came to the table quickly and piping hot. As a matter of preference, I like meals on the lighter side; however, this wasn't one of those meals. A bit heavy for my taste, but nonetheless very tasty. I'd definitely go back, especially with friends, if I had any. I don't think it will be a regular thing, though, as it was somewhat on the expensive side. You know what else is expensive? EVERYTHING!

Visited a couple times now and while their service has improved since my last visit, I still think it needs 1 more star worth of energy to take me over the top. On my 1st visit, it took them long to visit our table to see what we wanted to eat. On today’s visit, we were welcomed immediately and our order was taken rather quickly and our food was prepared a lot faster too. Where they still lack in service is at the end when you’re waiting for your ticket. Seems like an eternity. But the trick I found was to simply start walking up to the register and your ticket gets presented to you on the spot. Their food tastes good. I liked their ABC omelette and I added chorizo for extra flavor. It was full of flavor. Highly recommend it especially with their homemade salsa added on top. If you like toast, I noticed they have some homemade jelly to add on top.

I enjoyed the food, service was great. Waiter was very attentive and on top of everything I needed only downside was that as I sat at the bar I overheard the staff being yelled at I think it was mostly directed towards one employee whom I’ve see a few times and is always very friendly and kind and that day he had a large gauze on his thumb. In my opinion no one should be belittled in that manner and it took away from what could have been a great dinning experience.

I have been here a couple of times, they advertised in local coupons magazines, but don't bother clipping the coupons because they are only good for M-F. What bothered me is even if you show up on weekdays you still can't use their stupid coupons if you order a "special plate" their reasons are because they are already discounted, I've never heard of such a thing at any restaurant.

My family loves coming to this place, the food is good, but the service has just been going down hill from here on out. They had a new waiter come and serve us today on Sunday 10am and didn’t even put in the order for us. I understand if he’s new but why didn’t anyone check after even 30 mins if we had gotten our food. We sat there for over an hour. Then they had the nerve to just send the waiter back to apologies instead of a manager to come over and make things right. Also if the waiter is new why isn’t a veteran waiter shadowing him and making sure that everything is good. I don’t know if I’ll come back here if the guest service is like this. I want to love this place but the guest servicing seems so out of place now than before it breaks my heart.

We used to love going to Tio’s but the service has gone downhill. We went on a Wednesday at 10am, it was not busy, a waitress took our drink order and never came back. People sat in front of us. Behind us, and for their orders taken. No one came to take ours. I had to go to work so, we politely asked the tall long haired waiter, and he told another guy. Well 25 minutes later and nothing, worst experience ever and no one cared or apologized. We went to Campos and within 15 minutes had breakfast. Last time we had breakfast they forgot my toast, and I was charged for it, before that my toast and husbands coffee was cold. I think we are done with Tio’s, and the staff always seem angry nowadays too!
