Amazing BBQ. Nice sized portions! We loved it. This place is drive thru only but there’s a couple of picnic tables outside if you choose to sit outside and eat. Great local barbecue! The chicken is dark meat (thigh and leg) and was not very good but the other meats were great.

Flavor! I'm not sure I've ever visited a better BBQ joint. It's a drive through and sometimes they sell out of things. Get there early and go often. The owners are very kind and involved in making the community a better place. The ribs, chicken, and brisket are favorites of mine. A 3 meat dinner is enough for 2 adults and a child.

What a treat in Soldotna! We tried going one night for dinner, turns out they were already sold out. We went when they opened for lunch the next day and realized why they were sold out. Super good. Two of us got the three meat plate and couldn’t finish it. And we’re eaters. I went back the next day for the Black Jaxx Snack, which is a 16oz container of homemade black beans, brisket or pork (I chose brisket) and a Hawaiian roll, all for $11. They are also super fast in processing orders. It’s a must visit in the area or driving through to Homer, pending they have food still!

This is a family-owned Drive-Thru BBQ joint located in Soldotna on the Kenai spur. You may want to use GPS to get there as it's tucked off the highway. Really great barbecue and represents an outstanding value with the three meat platter going for $22 and there's enough to feed two people. Highly recommended. They do close early when they sell out so you may want to consider picking up before 5:00 p.m.

Loved the brisket sandwich, great flavor and worth the stop. We couldn't get our big rig through the lot, so we walked thru the drive-thru (no inside service) and will do it again when we leave Homer on way out. WORTH IT!!!

Stumbled upon this gem!!! Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, ribs, baked beans and coleslaw. Everything was excellent. We were very happy we stopped.

The brisket is melt in your mouth with the right amount of zip to the sauce. The beans and cornbread were thumbs up as well. The potato salad was so-so but im picky with that dish. The potatoes were cooked right. Took my food and went to ARC lake to eat with the bald eagles. Definitely will be back

Great BBQ and portions are generous. Is drive through only. Had the brisket sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw for lunch this week - loved it all! Have had the ribs before and am looking forward to getting them again. Not cheap, but worth it - it's summer in Soldotna, AK!

Tried this place for the first time and it was absolutely amazing. I got the brisket sandwich and some smoked sausage everything was delicious, including the sides. That was some of the best BBQ sauce I have ever had. Can't wait to go back and try everything else! Highly recommend.

Always order my birthday extravaganza from these guys. Never dissapointed, great BBQ. Ribs and chicken with a little Brisket on the side.....we always get enough to feed 20 (family B'day event)

Brisket and sausage were as good as any found in Texas! The nicest people own and run it. Picnic tables set up outside we’re a perfect setting for BBQ! I would highly recommend eating at this establishment.

Great Food!!!! Very nice and friendly. Ordered ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage and every one of these were excellent. The sides of potato salad, coleslaw, and beans were amazing as well. If you are in this area be sure and eat here.

This BBQ was amazing. Every dish had great flavor. We had ribs, brisket, beans, potato salad, and coleslaw. Our family of 5 stopped by this place on our way from Kolisof to Anchorage. I was able to back up Our 30 foot RV into a parking spot and we walked up to the window to placed our order. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area or passing by.

We ate here twice during our trip. The brisket was served Texas style and had the perfect combination of moisture, smoke, and spice. Also, the young cashier was friendly and helpful. Best place in Soldotna !!

Nice drive thru bbq place. We got there right when opened so didn't have the brisket off the grill yet. The ribs were excellent. So yummy. Pulled pork as well but ribs were better. Husband liked the beans side too. Got a bread roll side for the toddler. Store bought but had been warmed which was a nice touch. Will definitely go again.

My dad, his brother and I went today for lunch, based on reviews. We are here Salmon fishing from GA and AR, and we love good BBQ. This is really good BBQ, we had ribs, brisket and pulled pork. Sides of Potato salad and cole slaw and BBQ beans. Only complaint, and I'm being BBQ picky here, the pulled pork was chopped, and so was the brisket, probably chopped too early and dried out a little bit (sauce fixed that), otherwise, it was excellent! If I am ever here again I'll go back, fyi, only open during summer months.

Got ribs and sausage with coleslaw and baked beans. Meat portions were good also the amount of coleslaw. They didn't give many beans. Maybe 1/4 cup. The flavors were all good. I would eat there again but while it's nice to have a bbq here in Soldotna this isn't mind blowing good.
