After our initial introductory meeting, where we developed the menu best suited to us and our guests, today we finally celebrated our daughter's baptism at Antica Rocca. We can happily say that everything was perfect: the welcome, the professionalism, and the attention to detail in the dining room made us feel pampered. The high-quality ingredients used, the excellent pairings, the expert preparation, and the elegant plating allowed us to enjoy, first the sight and then the taste of all the dishes offered.

While visiting the beautiful Soncino, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, we decided to have lunch at the Antica Rocca restaurant. Located adjacent to Porta San Rocco, it's a historic establishment. It's family-run, and the cuisine offers traditional Lombard dishes with a few modern twists. The wine list is excellent, and the service is very friendly and attentive. Among the dishes we sampled, I recommend the Palasone Spalla Cruda, a Slow Food Presidium, accompanied by their amazing giardiniera. A tender venison rack is delicious, and the zuppa inglese (trifle) is a sweet end to the meal. The vegan options are also interesting. The Antica Rocca restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Location near the Rocca. The atmosphere is decidedly elegant and tasteful. The dishes are true to the area and its traditions. The wine list is excellent. The presentation is impeccable. The service is prompt and the staff is friendly. This location certainly deserves more than its description. Truly satisfied.

A restaurant in the center of Soncino offering Italian cuisine, visited for lunch. The atmosphere is very elegant, with several references to past decades. The main dining room is bright and well-decorated. The staff is friendly and competent, and we found that the restaurant is also pet-friendly. The cuisine here is truly impressive: we tried a summer parmigiana and an appetizer with char, both dishes perfectly executed, balanced, and with their own personality (and yes, they were also delicious :D). For main courses, a Gallura-style stuffed pasta (good with a hint of sweetness in the filling that mitigates the risk of a monotonous dish) and a monkfish cheek dish, also impeccable. For dessert, sorbets and, above all, a fabulous cheesecake, executed with a few variations on the classics, but a mousse with a truly surprising and convincing flavor and texture. A solid cuisine, confident in its abilities; Courteous and flawless service. Definitely recommended for anyone in the area!

We arrived without a reservation, and the place was almost empty, but it filled up over time. The staff was friendly, but the wait was disconcerting: we ordered three starters, two side dishes, and a dessert. The products were certainly high-quality, but there were several flaws, such as the cream that accompanied the tart, which was completely runny. Besides the long wait and having to call the staff back to order twice, the place was cold, not to mention the freezing bathroom, accessible only by walking down an open-air corridor.
