The food came out fast I did my order online which is what I recommend. Pulled into the slot checks in and within 5 minutes I had my food. This is a very busy location so I would recommend that instead of going through the drive-thru which takes some time.

They almost always have great food, and are super nice. After big game or events it's not always fast food but it is fresh and I can't say the same about the other sonics in the area.
I drive thru Sour Lake a few times a year. Always stop at this Sonic on my way back home. I will admit, I am not a fan of my Sonic locally but this Sonic always is always good! Just went through this past Sunday and the service was excellent. I ordered a drink and the girl was friendly enough to let me know that if I did not like those particular flavors they would make me another. Wow! Someone please commend the staff last Sunday!
Great burger. Came out quick and hot!
I tried using the app but after 8 or 9 failed attempts I just drove to the restaurant. First space I pull into was out of service so had to pick another one. Placed order and the music playing on sonic speakers was so loud the girl had a hard time hearing anything I was ordering. Never asked me about options or add-ons but I knew what we wanted so just informed her. The credit card reader and the screen was broke so she had to run my card inside. She never left a place for me to leave a tip, so unfortunately unable to tip. They overcooked the Buffalo bites so they were hard and dry.
The food was good but... I asked for extra napkins and ketchup. I also asked for sweet and low for my tea. The carhop reassured me they gave me extra napkins and ketchup. I received 2 napkins and 3 ketchup packets (total) for three meals / three people. I got TEN sweat and low packets for one tea. (???) Considering what they charge now for fast food I think they can afford to give us enough napkins and condiments to enjoy our meal without even having to ask.
We ordered 2 regular cheeseburgers and 1 medium tater tots. $13.50 is way too much (even for Sonic), for that amount of food. (No Drinks!). The burgers were good enough, nowhere near what Sonic used to be. Thankfully the tater tots were delicious. Saved the whole experience! I did tip the kid $2. That seemed to blow his mind. Lol. So, if you are really hungry, don't need a drink and have $15, I suppose it's someplace you can stop. The only other place in the area was a Dairy Queen. (There was one vehicle in the drive-thru and none in the parking lot, at 3:00 in the afternoon. It's a small town. That tells me all i need to know. If the locals don't eat there. Dont!Pick your poison!
They messed up a order twice. After the third time I just threw the sandwich away. My child has dairy allergies and I told them again when they needed to remake it. I checked and again it had cheese. They took it back and I'm sure they just scraped it off. I didn't want to chance her being hospitalized so in the trash it went.
Took over 30 minutes for 2 drinks that we ordered ahead on the app
At minimum half the stalls don’t work when it comes to the screen or speaker or the card reader, if you go through the drive through they’ll start trying to take your order before you can even physically pull up to the speaker then tell you that they can’t hear you when you’re shouting to respond. Get to the window and they ask “can I help you?” Yeah, I want to pay for the food I ordered 2 minutes ago. Then they try to charge you for the wrong food, explain again what you ordered and they’ll take your money then ask you to pull forward. When they do bring what is hopefully what you actually asked for you’re probably not going to get your drink so you’ll have to ask for that a third time but at least they’ll ask how much ice you want I guess.
I will start telling them to just give me whatever they think I should have. My order is NEVER right
If you want to waste your time go here. Waited 30 minutes for 3 drinks as I watched other people come in after me and leave before me.
I have not been too this sonic or any sonic in quite a while. It was breakfast that I want it so I ordered a bacon burrito. His service was bright food was great. What wasn't great was how burrito tortilla and description of the burrito went to a taco. It seems that instead of raising the price on the burrito and keeping it at the same quality, an amount of food in the burrito that there was in the past... this sonic, I don't know if all of them have done this decided to misrepresent the description of a burrito. I wonder if this is all sonic restaurants or just this one. Extremely disappointed.
I've been here several times in hopes something will be different, the food isn't the problem. They are SOOO SLOW. It'll take 10-20 mins to even place your order no matter if it's busy or slow. When you push the button they will answer after a few mins then tell you to please wait while the screen says the red button has been pressed and your placing your order then it'll time out and it'll ask you to press the button again.
Today I ordered an fresh banana shake and what I got was an artificial banana shake. I called the manager and asked why I didn't have fresh bananas in my shake and she told me that she decided to stop using fresh bananas. So glad I'm not allergic to yellow dye and let's just say false advertisement considering the menu boards and app say "fresh" banana.
after driving a 40 mile round trip I need to warn others to never waste their money here. I ordered a supersonic double cheeseburger with jalapeño and tots and a route 44 drink. I ordered my wife a footlong chili cheese dog meal with a route 44 tea. Drinks are delivered in a cupholder but one drinks lid isn't put on properly and spills all over my seat and my food. when I get home I have a single meat cheeseburger with no jalapeño but my receipt shows I was charged for what I asked for. since I was charged I assume it was written somewhere but the staff wasn't interested enough to put what I paid for on my order nor could they be bothered to secure my drink lid. My wife got 2 bites of hotdog that weren't soaked with drink. When I called to let them know of my dissatisfaction her suggestion was for me to do ANOTHER 40 mile roundtrip to get what I actually paid for. I recommend customers spend their hard earned money somewhere else and AVOID THIS HORRIBLE RESTAURANT AT ALL COST!!!
