It was a fun time sitting on the porch of the Sour Lake Sonic Drive-i for lunch with my son and his family. There was a cool refreshing breeze blowing and the sun was bright. The kids requested Sonic. I have to confess, it wasn't what I would have chosen, but you have few choices in a small town.

Sonic has something for everyone!! Sometimes they are crazy busy but I don't mind the wait.

I eat at this sonic regularly, the service is quick and the staff is generally friendly. The food is what you would expect from fast food and is great quality as such. Personally I am a big fan of the chili cheese tots with onions.

The food came out fast I did my order online which is what I recommend. Pulled into the slot checks in and within 5 minutes I had my food. This is a very busy location so I would recommend that instead of going through the drive-thru which takes some time.

I drive thru Sour Lake a few times a year. Always stop at this Sonic on my way back home. I will admit, I am not a fan of my Sonic locally but this Sonic always is always good! Just went through this past Sunday and the service was excellent. I ordered a drink and the girl was friendly enough to let me know that if I did not like those particular flavors they would make me another. Wow! Someone please commend the staff last Sunday!

We are stopping during the hurricane Laura evacuation. Can I just say that these folks are ON TOP OF THEIR GAME. Our food came out SO fast. Hot, fresh, crispy.... Everything you could hope for and more.

Love the slushes. Go between 2-4 for happy hour, half price drinks.

I am not a local but thought Id stop in. Food was great and carhop was friendly. However when I asked for ketchup for my large tots she said its in the bag. I got one ketchup. Great training opportunity. I thought Id mention it. Other then that everything else was great.

Great burgers and shakes, always happy servers. Minus 1 star for Sonic not making it clear if the servers are compensated as tipped employees or regular hourly - on the payment screen there is never an option for gratuity yet when paying cash you're able to tip them. What's the answer?

I tried using the app but after 8 or 9 failed attempts I just drove to the restaurant. First space I pull into was out of service so had to pick another one. Placed order and the music playing on sonic speakers was so loud the girl had a hard time hearing anything I was ordering. Never asked me about options or add-ons but I knew what we wanted so just informed her. The credit card reader and the screen was broke so she had to run my card inside. She never left a place for me to leave a tip, so unfortunately unable to tip. They overcooked the Buffalo bites so they were hard and dry.

The food was good but... I asked for extra napkins and ketchup. I also asked for sweet and low for my tea. The carhop reassured me they gave me extra napkins and ketchup. I received 2 napkins and 3 ketchup packets (total) for three meals / three people. I got TEN sweat and low packets for one tea. (???) Considering what they charge now for fast food I think they can afford to give us enough napkins and condiments to enjoy our meal without even having to ask.

To much salt on the tator tots you should have let me add the salt , the burrito was good.

This Sonic wasn't special in any way that stood out to me. It was ordinary. Staff was like any other fast food place, courteous because that's their job. Food was... Normal.

Most of the time you get friendly car hops like Christina or Hana. Other times not so much. Most food is fresh and hot. Enjoy going.

I don't eat much sonic food but the ice cream and shakes are good. Also the drinks like strawberry limeade are good. I do like some of there food.

Ok, but not as good as when it first opened .As of the last 2 months their food has been over cooked or the order has been wrong every time. One day a few weeks ago it it took them 3 times to get a order for 2 hotdogs right and when I left with it, well it was still wrong. Today I ordered 2 burgers and they were burnt and bread was dry, said cut the lettuce, well I got meat and cheese. Needless to say I give everybody a chance, as I have been in the food industry and I understand, but I am tired of the service that this Sonic .

I generally get the same thing everytime I go to a Sonic. This particular time the grilled chicken sandwich was less than stellar. I'm not expecting perfection but I am expecting something edible. We ordered 2 regular cheeseburgers and 1 medium tater tots. $13.50 is way too much (even for Sonic), for that amount of food. (No Drinks!). The burgers were good enough, nowhere near what Sonic used to be. Thankfully the tater tots were delicious. Saved the whole experience! I did tip the kid $2. That seemed to blow his mind. Lol. So, if you are really hungry, don't need a drink and have $15, I suppose it's someplace you can stop. The only other place in the area was a Dairy Queen. (There was one vehicle in the drive-thru and none in the parking lot, at 3:00 in the afternoon. It's a small town. That tells me all i need to know. If the locals don't eat there. Dont!Pick your poison!

We tried to call ahead and order but was told due to multiple times being burned we could not call ahead even if we paid a huge inconvenience for a family of 6 in a hurry we waited for our food patiently did not take too long but received two cheeseburgers with mustard still on it and no jalapenos added our order was very specific and read back to us but was not made properly I enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak Coney very much hard to believe it came from Sonic I'm not a huge fan of their food my family loves it we always have great customer service from this particular Sonic just disappointed no one would answer the phone to correct their mistake and the bad news of not being able to pay for our food ahead of time and pick up prepared

They always mess up my order. The last time I ordered bacon burger fries and a Dr pepper. And I got a regular burger, tots and a root beer. Worst thing is the reciept was correct

Have been going here for years. Idk if its just me or what but seems like quality of service and food has depleted. It's just not here either. And I understand it's not five star cuisine but these days you almost don't know what you getting. Had a pretty simple order 2 foot longs and a cheeseburger with lettuce mayo and tomato thats it. After repeating it I have to say 10 times I get the order and it's got onions pickels lettuce tomato and mayo. Thank God my daughter wasnt hungry cause she is allergic to onions. So after the countless repeating it still came put wrong. I mean the person even repeated it back. And I know the cook has a headset too so not sure how their is a communication error even the ticket repeated the way I asked. Not one of then finer experiences

I used to love Sonicbut this one in liberty has ruined it for me. The staff is a bunch of kids who play around inside and do nothing. It takes forever to get your food, and the food is always cold. They have also become very skimpy with the ingredients. It is truly the bare minimum. I would bit go here again.

They messed up a order twice. After the third time I just threw the sandwich away. My child has dairy allergies and I told them again when they needed to remake it. I checked and again it had cheese. They took it back and I'm sure they just scraped it off. I didn't want to chance her being hospitalized so in the trash it went.

Only car there order a drink only. After asked ng at 5 minutes they said they would be right with me then 5 more minutes would not answer. Left without my drink.

Found a hair in my bacon egg and cheese burrito!!! This place needs help!!! Nasty people in the kitchen!!! The lady’s that work there are nice and friendly but as far as food Hell NO!!

Horrible customer service. I ordered on the app. When I got there, I asked if they would add tomatoes, lettuce and onions. The manager said I had to buy a new sandwich, they would not change my sandwich since it wasn't their error. I left my food there and promptly called my credit card company and disputed the charge.

Service is very bad took me 30 mins to get a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a glass of water. They said they thought they had fixed it but didn't. That was just today every other time we go they always mess up our order. Not sure how they can mess up a cheeseburger with mustard and pickles only but they can never get it right. Im going to learn not to go there anymore and im a hugh sonic fan.

At minimum half the stalls don’t work when it comes to the screen or speaker or the card reader, if you go through the drive through they’ll start trying to take your order before you can even physically pull up to the speaker then tell you that they can’t hear you when you’re shouting to respond. Get to the window and they ask “can I help you?” Yeah, I want to pay for the food I ordered 2 minutes ago. Then they try to charge you for the wrong food, explain again what you ordered and they’ll take your money then ask you to pull forward. When they do bring what is hopefully what you actually asked for you’re probably not going to get your drink so you’ll have to ask for that a third time but at least they’ll ask how much ice you want I guess.

I have not been too this sonic or any sonic in quite a while. It was breakfast that I want it so I ordered a bacon burrito. His service was bright food was great. What wasn't great was how burrito tortilla and description of the burrito went to a taco. It seems that instead of raising the price on the burrito and keeping it at the same quality, an amount of food in the burrito that there was in the past... this sonic, I don't know if all of them have done this decided to misrepresent the description of a burrito. I wonder if this is all sonic restaurants or just this one. Extremely disappointed.

I've been here several times in hopes something will be different, the food isn't the problem. They are SOOO SLOW. It'll take 10-20 mins to even place your order no matter if it's busy or slow. When you push the button they will answer after a few mins then tell you to please wait while the screen says the red button has been pressed and your placing your order then it'll time out and it'll ask you to press the button again.

Today I ordered an fresh banana shake and what I got was an artificial banana shake. I called the manager and asked why I didn't have fresh bananas in my shake and she told me that she decided to stop using fresh bananas. after driving a 40 mile round trip I need to warn others to never waste their money here. I ordered a supersonic double cheeseburger with jalapeño and tots and a route 44 drink. I ordered my wife a footlong chili cheese dog meal with a route 44 tea. Drinks are delivered in a cupholder but one drinks lid isn't put on properly and spills all over my seat and my food. when I get home I have a single meat cheeseburger with no jalapeño but my receipt shows I was charged for what I asked for. since I was charged I assume it was written somewhere but the staff wasn't interested enough to put what I paid for on my order nor could they be bothered to secure my drink lid. My wife got 2 bites of hotdog that weren't soaked with drink. When I called to let them know of my dissatisfaction her suggestion was for me to do ANOTHER 40 mile roundtrip to get what I actually paid for. I recommend customers spend their hard earned money somewhere else and AVOID THIS HORRIBLE RESTAURANT AT ALL COST!!!
