Spring Creek BBQ South Gulf Freeway Reviews
My husband and I went to a luncheon given by Raymond James. I had a barbecue chicken and it was amazing! The chicken was juicy, with a rich smoky flavor, enhanced by the delicious sauce. I will definitely go back! I can't believe or relate to the bad reviews.
This place was amazing. The food was fantastic, the staff were professional, courteous, and checked on their customers frequently. We ended up waiting for one of our dishes, but they were accommodating offering us other food while we waited. The restaurant was clean and kept and the prices were good. Very awesome eatery, will definitely be going back.
You never realize how great customer service feels until you experience it; the two girls working the front were super nice and made me feel very welcome even though I was just ordering to go. I sat down to wait for my food and they offered me a hot freshly baked roll which I gladly took! Will definitely be back again
The marbled brisket is amazing! Tender, delicious, great flavor this can go on.. The side items are awesome too, I love this place. Plus fresh hot rolls.. need I say more. Get over there and get you some marbled brisket
Best damn BBQ, hands down!!!! Pick your meats and then start the sides. Come back as many times since they're unlimited. Mac n cheese is ridiculous, baked beans are on point. And all the warm, fresh baked dinner rolls you can eat!!! I had 7 myself!! Great place to take out of town guests for real deal,no frills BBQ at a great price!!
I ordered the brisket sandwich with potato salad and Cole slaw. The brisket was so damn tender. I was a little apprehensive until I tasted it for myself. Delicious. It is a little pricey, so just an occasional treat, but well worth the trip. I feel that I got more than my money's worth. And I had no more room left for the fresh bread that was passed out during my visit. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a taste for something new and great tasting food.
The quality and taste of their meat is always spot on and wonderful. Their sides are not my favorite, however I'm stuff by the portion size it does not matter. The bbq baked potato is #1 IMO and even their salads are filling. Definitely recommend
Food really good the buns were fresh baked golden brown crust. The brisket was tender and ribs delicious.
Best! Love it here!! My husband, my daughter and myself went on a Monday afternoon and it was empty. Perfect meal perfect service. Perfect price. We had leftovers. We also get our food delivered and they throw in plenty of bread and sides ❤️

This place was amazing. I had a sandwich plate with sliced brisket. They cut the meat right in front of you and might I say it was delicious!! I will definitely be going back and it was a wonderful environment. The staff were very polite and helpful. We got fresh baked bread brought to us and it was very good also.
Spring Creek Barbeque is awesome! The food tastes great and service is good. They also come around and give you extra bread while you are enjoying your meal. Nice touch! Keep doing a great job!
Really good BBQ I like the option to get lean meat, their sauce is really really good as are their generous portions of good coleslaw and potato salad. They also offer corn on the cob, mac and cheese and greenbeans for sides.
Held a group meeting here. The staff we're very nice and friendly. The food was very well prepared and was pretty good though I thought a little pricey. They had a nice meeting room that was separated from the restaurant so didn't even notice when the restaurant got super busy.
I've been pretty addicted to their chopped brisket baker lately. It's so good that I think I've eaten their twice this week. I usually order via Doordash and so far it's been warm and tasty everytime. It's also a very large portion of food so I feel like I'm getting what I pay for. I've had a good experience everytime so far so I'd definitely recommend this place.
Best BBQ on Earth, many thanks to the Cooks & Staff at Spring Creek Barbeque in League City - You make our meals taste delicious. Brisket & Ribs - so very good! Best value for our money Large portions Fresh hot bread Roland & Monica Texas City
We went for a school spirit night. It was smooth even with a steady crowd. The food was delicious and very good portions. We ordered a large order of sauces to support the school and a gentleman was so helpful, offering to help me get the order and my family to the car. I was impressed by their attentiveness to service in addition to the large meal
The brisket is amazing but a little dry though but the bbq sauce makes all the difference. The rolls are some of the best rolls I've ever had they were warm and perfectly golden. The pinto baked beans and corn were out of this world! You can always count on these places to make great meals 👍
We don't usually go here, but today we were in the area and decided to stop here for dinner. We ordered the 3 meat plate, baby back ribs, pepper sausage and brisket. I'm very picky about my baby back ribs and sausage and I have to say, it was very good. The pepper sausage was not dry and have great flavor. The brisket was dry, but with bbq sauce it was great. (I ordered the lean). We are doing keto, but I did eat some of the roll, how can you not? Great bbq and service was awesome.
For our first time dining in/tasting their food I must say it was amazing! The staff was friendly and patient and the food is fall off the bone good💕…. Will definitely come back!
I had the 2 some..which is loaded baked potatoes and choice of slice or chopped beef or sausage..was excellent..good place to eat..
Always consistently good. Pictured is their brisket (I bought a pound of "extra fatty & extra barky to go). They are particularly well known for their fresh wheat rolls. I like their coleslaw which is NOT too sweet. Friendly people, good food, recommended! --Danny Lee, Space City Risk, Restaurant Insurance Specialist
Absolutely PHENOMENAL ribs, brisket, fried okra! A great TASTE OF TEXAS!! I travel all over the country looking for the best foods in every category, this place holds one of my top three spots for BBQ in the Texas! Entire U.S.A! Hands down! ⭐️UPDATED ⭐️ Service was top notch ✅ Manager friendly 🥂 RIBS to die for!🔥🎉 I even enjoy door dashing fresh baby back ribs and bought the bottle of suace so I can literally enjoy this amazing bbq/ sides while watching Netflix! So cool! YOU HAVE tO GIVE THEM A TRY!!! This place is a MUST go if you’re traveling even remotely nearby!!give them a try when your vitisiting or for your BBQ craving!
Excellent experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served in generous portions. The atmosphere is cozy and clean—perfect for coming with family or friends. Definitely one of those places worth visiting again and again. Highly recommended!
I have the chopped beef brisket sandwich and it was great. I also had some turkey and another one you must try is the fried okra. Plus they walk around and give out free rolls so that’s a positive. But the wait to get your food is usually minimal and the atmosphere there is nice. It’s also not expensive and they give you good helpings of food. We will definitely be coming back to eat her again.
Turkey was tender. Brisket was moist and tender but no smokey flavor. Slaw fresh but needed more seasoning. Potato salad good. Green beans cooked just right and good flavor. Wanted to but did not get okta because it would cost 2 sides!
The food was great and fresh. However, I think it is highly unprofessional when young staffers are yelling across the restaurant to communicate or when they are expressing their personal lives out on the floor. Just my opinion from working in hospitality/retail/restaurant for over a decade. But otherwise the staff was nice. Please clean your bathrooms more regularly, they dont look or smell clean or like they've been cleaned recently. I took my mom there for her birthday and this was my first time in there(I or my staff usually doordash when we order from there).
This is one of those difficult reviews to write because of strange factors. First of all, the facility was nice, clean and organized. Got a real southern country vibe when we walked in the door and the smell! Wow what a punch! Secondly the staff was super friendly and communicated well even though it was our first time here everything was very service oriented. Price point was average for a BBQ place, 25 bucks a person is what I'm used to around here, but this is where the difficult part of the review comes in. The food... alright I gotta say it, working in food retail for over 15 years it's very easy to spot prepurchased food vs something that is home made at the location and this is where they lost points. You could tell right away that the food came from can or package and yes I know that's being a stickler but if I'm paying 25 a person I have a different expectation. Their BBQ sauce felt a little home made if not something that was altered to feel home made. The main course food was really good and really plain at the same time, which struck me as odd. The pepper sausage was amazing! The turkey was really good, all be it cut funny. But the brisket felt like it wasn't smoked for a long enough time, it felt like it was cooked to temperature and pulled out for service. The one last thing that struck me as odd is how the main course meat was left out under heat lamps covered with butchers paper. I know that's nit picking but we were dealing with a fly at our table and that gets your mind thinking. It's a good place but I wish it could be more! Especially for 25 a person! Gotta say one last time the people were fantastic!
For a commercialized BBQ place its actually pretty good. The family and I really enjoy eating here. Staff is pretty friendly and accommodating. Prices are a little pricey but at least you get good food. I enjoy the free rolls and free ice cream when they bring it sometimes.
During coronovirus takeout the chopped beef was extraordinarily lean, now that we are back inside it has a bit of fat intermixed. Still delicious! And I didn't ask for lean, because I didn't think I needed to from past experience. Beans are special. Cole slaw juicy. Potatoes are huge and full of goodies. Fast, courteous, and friendly service. About $35 for 2 hungry adults. Comparable to Rudy's with less self service.
Pretty good BBQ. Sides are a little small and okay compared to the BBQ. The mac and cheese tastes just like the cheap boxed kind so I wouldn’t get that. Little pricy for the quality/quantity. Clean environment. Family friendly and kind staff with quick service. Convenient location and plenty of parking. Handicap friendly. One of the best places for bread rolls!
The food is really good! I tried it for the first time on May 10th, so I did the curbside pick up. Really nice staff, she just put the bags in my car through my window and put my drink in the drink holder, all from one side. The 4 stars is because I feel like the portions are small, but my family was still satisfied with everything.
Love the coupons. Sign up on the app to get access to coupons. Dining in is always good, but if you order to go, its good to check the food before you leave... I am very picky about BBQ meat.
I'm glad I decided to read the reviews ahead of time saying they offer unlimited sides with certain meals or I would have left hungry. None of the staff told me about this. Also, this is the first BBQ restaurant I have ever eaten at that doesn't serve a full rack of ribs. For $14.95, I received 6 small ribs and 2 sides. The man serving the meat was not very friendly and did not speak English very well but all the other staff was very friendly. The food did taste very good. I especially liked the cole slaw and the meat was very tender. The BBQ sauce was also very good. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. If l go back, I will try something other than ribs.
This visit was much better than the last. The barbecue was fresh and hot and the green beans were excellent! The coleslaw was a little on the dry side but still tasty. To me personally, a 2 meat plate with 2 sides and tea is a little high at $20.00
Placed a large order through DoorDash, including a dozen rolls. My order arrived without any rolls. I called to complain. The young woman who answered the phone said, “oh I’m so sorry, maybe next time you will get your rolls.” I think that you should have paid for DoorDash to bring me the dozen rolls and lose the ridiculous attitude.
Service was great, very friendly staff but we did not enjoy the food. the brisket was bland, the mac and cheese is watery, the pinto beans are basically baked beans with bbq sauce, potato salad is bland. However the ribs were decent. The staff are what get the 3 stars. The food however is on a 1 star
The ribs were good, but half an order is just 5 instead of 6. And that half is very expensive. The sides were all disgusting, we order mac and cheese and tasted worse than the box ones from the grocery store. And the other side we got was coleslaw, taste bad too. We bought another ribs meal, we other potato salad, which we didn't know what it had but also nasty. I can't remember the fourth side we got, but i know we didn't like any of them. They give you bread that was good.
Review as of 09/23. Brisket and Chicken dinners were very dry. Baked beans had good taste but were undercooked, Mac and Cheese was warm at best, rolls had been out for a bit (not fresh). Green beans and sweet tea were very good. Customer service was lacking, not friendly, and no one was at the check out to assist for around 3 minutes. Does seem like a long time until your food begins to cool as you stand. The restaurant was clean, kept up with and very nice looking. Side note: No one walked up with fresh rolls to ask if we wanted some. :(
Three stars at most the barbecue is just OK also very expensive
We took my 89 year old mom out for her birthday lunch today. The brisket and turkey were moist and delicious as usual. The rolls were yummy as always. The service was lackluster and bordered on rude. The women were sweet and smiling, but the men seemed to be very inconvenienced by our presence. They muttered instead of speaking clearly, they didn’t listen when we asked for carry out containers. I never write reviews, but this was such a disappointment from a restaurant we enjoy.
Well, it was a bar-b-que of sorts. The chicken I will have to say was the best option. I would eat it again. The brisket wasn't the best I have had but still not too shabby. The pork ribs were a little on the dry side. Sauce was good, not too spicy if you're worried about that. Tea was good, rolls were ok. I did like how they came by and asked if we wanted hot ones. Staff was very friendly. So as it stands Spring Creek is middle of the road. But not a bad choice if you're passing by and feel like meat.
Spring Creek Barbecue has wonderful food and service. The problem, and yes it is a problem, is branding. The establishment itself is dark, brooding, and tired. You’re essentially eating BBQ inside a mausoleum. And when you exit the building you have to allow your eyes time to readjust. It’s like Seth leaving the T-Twister after a night slaying vampires. Anyway, I asked if they had a bumper sticker for my food delivery vehicle (orange Honda Fit Soort), and the young prairie woman said no. I shared how Rudy’s has a couple that they actually sell. I then asked her IF they did have a bumper sticker what it might look like (just for fun), and she said in her Napoleon Dynamite-Kippish voice, “I suppose our corporate logo.” Boring! Please don’t! Conclusion: You gotta’ hand it to Rudy’s for the win here in terms of “corporate livelihood.” …. and Rudy’s has a more fun, inviting, better lit atmosphere; the staff don’t look like they’ve been trapped on the Endurance with scurvy for 45 years. I loved the 80s too, but Sizzler and Howard Johnson’s are no more, and you will be too soon if you don’t rebrand. Think about it? Spring (new) Creek (fresh). The name is great! The food is great! It’s everything else that’s not-so-great. At the very least maybe turn some music on? Pull the drapes?
Only giving this a 2 start because the potato salad was good, ordered a brisket sandwich that was supposed to be 10.65 got to the register it’s now $14! The girls were laughing and saying it just went up yesterday. I understand inflation but they should of let it be known. Manager didn’t say nothing nor greet us when we came in. Now I see why the parking lot stays empty here!
The food isn't bad, but the brisket was very dry, lots of far. My meats were cold, beans still crunchy. And I'm not sure how you justift a bottle of Bud light for $4.25!!!! I don't even pay that at the bar! Definetley don't want to pay it at a restaurant. Rolls were great. Service was fair. But probably won't return.
paid 100 dollars for 5 people, and food was cold or lukewarm. food was okay but definitely not 20 dollars a person, neither in proportion sizes or in taste. gets 2 stars because the rolls are very good but other than that it just isn't what it used to be
I really do love the food from Spring Creek but I attempted to call to place my order before driving over and the phone would just ring over and over again. When I arrived I placed my order with a Manager who I made aware of the phone situation. He apologized and said they had turned off the phones and the internet to stop receiving orders because they couldn't keep up and they were short staffed and the General Manager had made the decision. While I was in the restaurant placing my to go order, I only saw one other party waiting for their to go order and three tables with patrons dining in the restaurant. I don't know exactly how many employees it takes to run a Spring Creek but I have worked in the restaurant industry previously, and I saw seven employees in the front. I don't know if there were additional employees in the back but I would think that seven employees (2 of them were Managers), would be plenty of staff to run the restaurant.
Bbq was cold. No Coffee ready. NO cream for coffee. Bread rolls were cold. We had to ask for fresh bread. Nothing but kids workings here. Outdated dining room. Not worth $100
This restaurant used to be fantastic a year ago. Now, it's hot inside, the rolls are burnt (if you get any at all) and the spund of cackling teenagers (employees) telling boyfriend and girlfriend stories and dropping f bombs in front of customers is all you can hear. Really wish this place was still great but sadly I'll have to find another favorite bbq spot.
The service was friendly, the food tasted good, but really was disappointed to spend $20 for a barely warm meal. Ordered a sliced brisket sandwich. Didn't think about it at the time I ordered but the meat was already on the counter before I ordered it. It may help to keep in some type of warmer until it's ordered. I also ordered a rib that was the same way. No one ever came by to check to see how everything was. I really feel this place dropped the ball today and hope they improve.
My husband and I eat here very often and enjoy the ribs and brisket. But today, the service was very disappointed. A bunch of kids played around on their phone and didn't pass offering bread. I went up to ask, and they said they didn't have any. I'm very disappointed and won't be coming back for a while.
Not Worth the Hype — Dry Chicken and Missing Bread I was really looking forward to a good baked potato with BBQ chicken and their warm bread, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The chicken was dry and overcooked. I asked about the warm bread and was told they only included one piece. When I asked for another, they said they were out and that I would have to wait — but by then, my food would have been completely cold (which it already was by the time I got home). Once I opened the container, I was even more disappointed to find there was no bread at all. For the price and reputation, I expected much better. Poor food quality and failure to include basic items like bread made this a very frustrating experience. I won’t be returning.
It was 2:30 on Saturday. No one was really in here. The brisket and sausage was cold and the ribs was dry. The cutter just left all that out on the table instead of putting it in a warm spot so when you got it, your food was cold.. That would probably be different if people was lined up, but definitely cold meat .
Spent over $50 for a dinner for two and before we finished a large cockroach came from behind my wife’s seat and went behind the paper towel roll. We called for the manager told him what happened and he took a piece of paper towel and killed it on the table. He had nothing to say to us. We left. Never to return.
Ordered whole pecan pie... Picked up Saturday for Easter. Pie was totally burnt from the pecans into the crust. Called Easter morning and they offered to replace it. Well guess what, pie was burnt even worse than the first one. One of our Easter guests took a bite and the crust was so hard it almost broke one of his teeth. I am a person of principle, so Monday morning I took both of the pies back so the manager could see for himself the quality of what was coming out of the kitchen. Michael, the manager did not say he was sorry that happened, did not apologize whatsoever, only said I will not give you another pie because it will probably come back also. HOW RUDE! And by the way a big yes it would be returned if it was burnt! I told him I did not expect another pie nor a refund, I just wanted him to see what was coming out of his kitchen and to correct it. He COULD CARE LESS! I will never go back there and I have heard some most negative comments about that establishment here recently. We went to Cracker Barrel and picked up the most delicious, fairly priced large pecan pie. One of my friends said they had bought barbecue stuffed potatoes from Spring Creek Barbecue and had to return them they couldn't find but four little pieces of meat on them. AND my brother bought 15 lbs of what was supposed to be lean brisket and when he got home it was all fat...took it back and they gave him fits about refunding his money. BEWARE!
Service could have been better. There was service, however no "customer service" if that makes sense. The entire staff was matter a fact
I ordered the pulled pork and it was greasy and looked nothing like pulled pork. It had a lot of “gravy”. Even the sausage I ordered didn’t taste right. I ended up returning my food for a refund. Hope it gets better
Was very dissatisfied not sure how anyone can over cook a baked potato. I got four bites in very dry. I usually don't complain but for the price we paid for our dinners should have been better. Staff was nice and the restaurant was clean but you can get good service and great food somewhere else.
If I could give zero stars I would, I understand sometimes we have bad days but I have been disappointed multiple times. If you want good bbq go to Ryan’s in Webster off hwy 3 and Nasa Parkway You will not be disappointed. The food was so good we ate bbq there Friday and we were craving it today but I didn’t feel like driving so I came here because I live here in the neighborhood. I noticed the place has an empty parking lot frequently. It’s a reason for that.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I've never had spring creek before and wanted to try it out. Now I know to NEVER go near this place. The staff was rude and annoyed that I asked about the menu. The food was bland and barely warm. The sauce was alright, but the potato salad was barely decent and the green beans I just didn't eat. An insult to green bean side dishes. The only part of the meal that was great was the bottle of IBC root beer, but I can get that anywhere. My wife said she also saw the side preparation lady sneeze on the food and that's why she said she wasn't hungry. I will dedicate myself to spread the disdain for the restaurant.
We decided to try it again after a couple of years. I believe it hasn't gotten any better. The brisket and sausage were sliced thinner and the sides were OK. The rolls were offered after we were finished eating. Some of the seats in the restaurant are coming apart. Need I say more.
Sausage was a weird grainy texture. The beans and green beans were over cooked and gross. Cole Slaw was decent. Don't think we will be back to this location.
Never again, yuck! Nice looking place, but people serving food wasn't friendly & was rushing us. When I asked what exactly was, North Carolina pulled pork, and the guy opened a pan & pointed. Umm, I'm not sure that was answering my question. Looked like over sauced meat in a small pan & dried out. Gross! So I asked for a chopped brisket sandwich. Again, mixed with BBQ sauce & that all I could taste. Their sauce taste like A1 sauce mixed with worcestershire sauce. It's wasn't anything great. The baked beans were a liquid mess of this sauce, not good. It was very expensive for barely any food. My stomach has been upset since leaving. We will never go back to this place. They need friendly employees & better food.
The portion size keeps getting smaller & smaller. The meat is not weighed so it’s up to the carver. I ordered a 3 meat plate and the amount of sliced brisket was laughable. The store was not busy and the meat was cold. This used to be my favorite bbq but they need to figure something else out. $20 plus dollars for cold skimpy servings is ridiculous.
The floor was very dirty, like food droppings everywhere, liked nobody care how the place looked. The food was cold. The biscuits were cold that they gave us. The lady that passes out the biscuits never came around,we had to go up the desk and ask why the lady didn't pass around the biscuits. When the other employees told her to pass out the biscuits, she took her sweet longest time to come around our table. When they brought my coffee around, we were told, they didnt have cream or honey for coffee. We ask for sugar, the sugar was hard as a rock. This will be the last time, that I will bring my family to this place. I don't believe this place has a supervisor nor a manager.
Very Disappointed - SCBBQ has been a long time favorite but they have just lost me as a customer. My wife and I met for dinner on 8-17-23 and were likely part of their early dinner business customers. I noticed that when I was ordering, the server pulled away the freezer paper covering the cutting block and then he asked what I was having. I told him "I'll have your rib dinner". I noticed that there were 3 ribs sitting on the cutting block that were likely left over from their lunch serving. He put those on a plate and said that he would bring the balance to my table. Needless to say, the three ribs he served me were not even warm to the taste and then the server brought me two fresh ribs off the grill. As I sat there enjoying the fresh two ribs, I thought to myself how disrespecting it was to knowingly serve me three cold ribs while delivering two fresh ribs minutes later. I asked to speak to a manager and he showed up minutes later. I told him what had happened and I also told him that the server should have told me that he would deliver my plate of ribs when the next rack comes off the grill. Just really bothers me when I spend good money on sub-quality dining and customer service. Thumbs Down on SCBBQ!
Nothing special about the food...standard BBQ joint fare. Extremely disappointed with the service. I brought my brother here. He's in a wheelchair and not one staffer offered any help getting two trays and a wheelchair to the table. If it was busy I could understand but it's tombs in here right now. They have plenty of time to chat and giggle with coworkers though.
The location in League City has gone downhill dramatically. We arrived at opening and ordered a pulled pork sandwich, mild suasage Plat, and a basket of fries. Now, I understand side are no longer self-service nor ulimited, that's fine, but if you're going to make that kind change you can't serve subpar food. The macaroni and cheese was clod. I don't mean lukewarm. I mean out of the fridge cold. The cheese sauce, and that a generous description, was so think it slid off the noodles and pooled in the bottom of the cup. The manager came over to our table to let us know the fryer hadn't been turned on and the oil needed to heat before they could drop fries. That's fair, but by the time we'd have the fries, the rest of the meal would have been eaten so we just asked for a refund, which they did. I mentioned the cold soupy mac and cheese while he was there so he offered a free dessert. Ok, not a bad trade off. Except the "hot peach cobbler" was as cold as the ice cream. This has to have been the worst food experience I've ever had this place. We won't be returning and suggest you find someplace that serves hot food.
Stopped in here at the last minute to grab a quick bite with the family. This review is as true as it gets when it comes to BBQ. I am a professional BBQ caterer of over 25 years and this Q lacks it all. I know people have different tastes but it is the quality that is what sets great Q apart from a place like this. Between the 3 of us we had all the meats covered as well as a healthy portion of different sides. I did not finish anything on my plate, from the ribs to the brisket. The sides were just blah and unappetizing. My son never fights a sausage sandwich but on this outing the sausage won. My wife was in the same boat as myself. I informed the manager of the problems, as guest relations are the only way to try and improve on the negatives.
Brisket is dry, Cole slaw was bitter, and bread is impossible to come by. Service is lacking. Not what it used to be…
Guy severing meat was rude acted like he was in a hurry and the place was empty. Meat was very dry sides was not edible left most of the food. Very expensive for the quality of the food. For sure will not go back or recommend
Probably the driest and least tasting bbq I ever had. It was supposed to be my birthday dinner, very disappointing 😞.
Been a long time customer, don't think after today I will be back anytime soon. 3 tries to get a simple salad , no onions. Then the cook almost threw it on the table. Sad And your customer service website doesn't exist... Says expired. Same people and quality as your employees.
Just overall I wasn't impressed. I just felt like it was a hurry up because you are bothering me,but not from everyone just the manager. THE young ladies that worked to go were courteous and the busser( an older Hispanic guy) was friendly and helpful The manager on the line was very short with me when answering my questions. They didn't have bread cooked and he couldn't tell me when it would be ready..he didn't even try to give me an estimate, just that it wasn't ready and he didn't know when it would be done. I asked the young ladies in the to go area and they said like 40 minutes which was all I wanted to know. The food was mediocre, not seasoned to my taste, but my grandkids ate it, so I guess that's all that matters. I can't say that I won't be back, but this location will be a last resort. By the way I never got a roll.
Do not come at 11 AM when they open and think you’re going to get fresh food, you will get heated up food wrapped in plastic that was left over from the day before. The ribs were cold and paper thin and the sausage was cold and tasted reheated. The meat cutter from this morning has zero customer service skills and gives very small portions and He should not be OK with serving out old cold food.
I went to this place last night to pick up really quick before closing a salad and maybe something else to go. As soon as I walked in Noone greeted me I had to ask which counter to go to . The girl that waited on me was uninterested and shouted to the guy cutting meat if they had certain meat . He had the easiest attitude because he HAD TO WORK . I recieve my order . And whe. I tell you the portion they give you for these prices is crazy. For 22 dollars for a 3 meat plate . I recieved 3 thin sandwich slices of turkey, literary 4 cut up sausages this and 2 THIn slices of brisket the plate literally looked empty. When I asked if I can get pickles and onion another attitude was caught and I stated I mean I can get it myself it's right there. I got my items and left Noone stated goodbye or anything like they were screaming at the other customers leaving . These kids can really bring a business down. People working at this place should be ashamed and the owner and manger should know . If you don't want to work DONT WORK. Very poor nasty customer service and I will never be back.
$50+ dinner- The price did not match the portion size. I paid $20 for a dinner plate and received the same amount of chicken that comes on a child’s plate. The service was also very disappointing. Unfortunately, this place has really gone downhill, and I will not be returning.
I ordered a 3 meat combo with sliced brisket, ribs and sliced turkey. Well I don't think it's worth $23 because all I got was 1 slice of brisket and turkey and two small ribs. To open the container up and see their is hardly any meat at all. I understand times are tuff but come on you can do better than that.
The guy serving the meat got very upset and was very rude because we didn’t want to chop beef from where the vegetables area . The girl was serving so we had to back up in the line and he cut three very thin slices of brisket for our baked potato it was very extra thin And you can barely taste if it was brisket of chicken the barbecue sauce didn’t have any flavor either the atmosphere is beautiful for the elderly they can get someone else to slice that meat. I don’t know what his problem is. It says a lot when you barely speak in English.
Today was my last day here at spring creek in league city . The meat wasn't cooked that my 7 year old had . The macaroni was completely dry as well as the brisket . I wasted 56 dollars and they will never get a dollar . The lemonade taste like fish water . FYI I love spring creek but it just isn't the same anymore.
16 dollars for 2 ribs 2 small slices of brisket and 5 slices of sausage??? This place is rediculous on their portion sizes. When we are in Arlington Tx. We get way more. I think retraining or something is in order here. My wife had the same 3 meat only Chicken. This is just not rite. Never again.
