EatItalian Staten Island Reviews
Holly schmolly we had a Sunday dinner here and the amount of foods on our plates was enough to feed 10 people and we were only 2..... Prices are very generous and the surroundings give you a real sense of being in a little restaurant in Italy and I would suggest this place for everyone as you will be very pleased...
Celebrating a small family birthday. Delicious egg plant parm, pasta bean soup, and Gnocchi pesto. Wonderful ambience, only suggestion since authentic Italian restaurant to play Italian music vs. Spanish 😉 and consider Grilled Salmon. Thank you.
Food and service are outstanding. Restaurant is warm and inviting. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. We will be regulars at this place!
Have had take out here and stayed for dinner as well. Both are very good experiences. Excellent chicken parm. Pizza is good, but likely even better if you don't get it to go. It's very thin and cools quick. Good crust. Believe this is a wood fired oven. I have given it a 7.6. Disrespectful Doug says 6.2.
Staff is very very personable. Every time we go there, the waiters remember who we are regardless of how long its been there since the last time we went. Food is always giant portions and everything is delicious. Some dishes are not as flavorful as others but I really think it is too taste. Overall we love it here. Great food, and love the staff.
Seriously and absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the moment they greet you till they say gdbye! The service was amazing the food was delicious....went over a week ago for the first time and had the pleasure of having the same waiter the second time and he remembered my fiancé's nut allergy. Such a great vibe and experience. Can't wait to return!
Wow. What a hidden gem of a restaurant. Went last night with 3 of us. Sangria, Apps Dinner & dessert all amazing. Owner walks around to tables to ensure you’re well taken care of and food was good. All the food came fresh, hot and delicious. Clam special App was like no other. People working were all friendly. We had a Veal, chicken parm & short rib dinners that we all enjoyed. Dessert also delicious. We had Italian cheesecake, cannoli & lemon sorbet. Go here. It’s an A+. You will love it 👍
Such a cute restaurant located in a strip mall. Was surprised by the size and decor being so beautiful. The food was great. The bread was not. But the meals were all delicious and it was very reasonable. Will definitely go back.
Eat Italian has great food. They have a good atmosphere, not great, but good. The service is impeccable, the only thing is that way way way overpriced on their food. They charge me 6 bucks for a peach soda and $5 for a seltzer, which is ridiculous for 2 people to have 2 entrees, almost a 100 bucks. Overall , great food , great atmosphere , but terrible pricing way way too high
Overall, eating at EatItalian was an enjoyable experience yet was not the best. Food: 4/5 The food honestly varies with your personal taste, but I felt that the dish I ordered, the Gnocchi, did not have enough pesto flavor and was more akin to a cream sauce. The pasta was decent, but not the greatest. However, I did sample some other food, such as the burger and a different pasta, and those were quite enjoyable. I think it’s up to personal taste, but I felt that the food was decent. Atmosphere: 5/5 My party was seated in the outdoor area, which provided quite a nice atmosphere. The breeze, coupled with the upbeat music and the gentle sunlight allowed for a very enjoyable dinner. I definitely recommend trying to sit in the outdoor section if possible. Service: 4/5 Waitstaff was attentive enough, but not the best. They were friendly and helpful, but we did have to ask a few times for things such as water and bread. Overall, the service was pretty good. Overall, a 4/5 because although the atmosphere was wonderful, the food in my opinion wasn’t the best.
I don’t believe a restaurant should charge you when you send back a dish that you had five bites from. I recently had lunch here and ordered the rigatoni Bolognese, which was so overcooked. The waitress asked me if I wanted something else. I told her we were on a time restraints no thank you only to see the pasta that I did not eat was still on the bill. I will not be returning to the establishment.
A decent Italian restaurant in a fairly newly renovated plaza. It might be because they’re new, but their service could be better tenfold—servers/waiters are not attentive at all, no easy way to get someone’s attention if needed and no one introduced themselves by name for accountability. The food however is a different story. It was better than expected and had great presentation.
Ordered takeout and lasagna was flat, literally maybe 2 layers of pasta, the short rib pappardelle had barely any meat on it and pasta looked stale like it had been reheated instead of made fresh. When I called about my online order, they said there’s nothing they can do. Terrible customer service, and very disappointing food, the audacity to charge the prices they do. Do not recommend
