Max's Es-Ca is an amazing restaurant located on richmond ave. If you never been here its worth trying out! The beef wellington is the best entree they offer in my opinion. The tuna tartare, baked clams and pumpkin cheesecake are very good.

Went there with a group of 14 and loved every minute. The service was spot on and very accommodating. The food was great. I will be going back again. Definitely recommend this place

Absolutely stunning beef wellington and also pork chops. I don't know who Phil is but he's doing it right. What a gem of a place! Free bread for dinner dine in as well. Definitely coming back for more!

Every few years, me and my friends from junior high school get together and we wouldn't choose any other place to be besides Max's Es-Ca. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the menu is beyond awesome and the atmosphere is whatever we need it to be. Sometimes we're in a party mood and sometimes we want a relaxing dinner. They're able to handle both situations equally as well.

Food and atmosphere are always great. It's a place you can go to all the time because there's plenty to choose from and specials are offered on different nights. The rack of lamb is a favorite too. Everyone there is very welcoming and the servers go above and beyond to please you.

Amazing food and great attentive service! We visited Max's Es-ca in Aug 2022 to celebrate a family event. We were absolutely impressed by the quality of food and service! Every dish we tried was delicious and was served exactly as ordered and at the right time. The place is quite expensive but it is certainly worth it! Appetizers: Tuna Tartare - it was so perfect that we finished it in no time and ordered one more. Burrata Mozzarella - soft and delicious. Fried Calamari - good as it's supposed to be. Mesclun Salad - such a great combo of greens, goat cheese, walnuts, and other ingredients that we ordered a second one. Mains: Beef Wellington - few of us ordered it and we all loved it! Soft, tender, perfectly cooked to order beef in a fresh fluffy pastry, complimented with a bed of extra smooth mashed potatoes and some creamy sauce underneath! Yummy! It was just hands down delicious and the best dish of the night! Rack of Lamb - the meat was so tender that it was melting in the mouth! Though no doubt the dish was overall delicious I would however suggest adding a bit more color with some spices or herbs. Also, the breadcrumbs crust had a very subtle oily taste note which it would be better without. Montreal Crusted NY Strip Steak - the steak was juicy and cooked exactly as ordered. My son gave it 5 stars :) Desserts: Pecan pie, Tiramisu, Fried Ice Cream - all great and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant. It's outstanding!

Had a great meal here. The food was delicious and the service was great. It was my first time here and our server, Jamie, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I had the Montreal Crusted Strip Steak which was perfectly cooked. The Spumoni Tartufo was a great way to finish the night! Highly recommend!

We went for a family dinner. The place is good for groups. We sat 9 adults in one round table comfortably. The food was great, service was good, the bread was delicious! I got the stuffed chicken with capers and it was delicious. I love chicken piccata and this was a step above it!

The place itself is great food and pricy. But would never recommend catering the half treys are tiny for 80$ two people can eat the entire thing. There half trey is really a1/4 trey it’s a complete rip off pasta is cheap to make i can’t believe the size of there ziti or any trey. Very disappointing and ripped of 198$

Expensive Staten Island restaurant but with delicious food and great service. Came here with 3 playful kids and the waitress was helpful and understanding. The fish and steak we ordered was great but the paella tasted more like rice with seafood, missing species and wasn't very well paired with the seafood. The rest of the food was amazing and kids really liked the salmon, grilled octopus salad was everyone's favorite.

I just walked out of Max Esca’s. Went to watch the Super Bowl and at halftime they changed the channel to the other network not showing the Bad Bunny show. I never expected a business to take a political stance when there only position is to feed their customers. I’ve been there about a dozen times with friends and spend good money there. I will never step foot in this place again because of the poor decision to not air the show. The entire staff are hard working Latino workers who work hard to make it a pleasure to be there. It’s insulting to take a stance to support the minority who buy into this rhetoric and show their true colors. I never write reviews but I was so insulted by this I couldn’t keep quiet

It was Thanksgiving we had to sit in a tent.The hostess said it’s warmer than the restaurant Lie. The door was left open several times, the food had to come from the restaurant so that was cold. The waiters are running around so the floor was shaking. Never again and last but not least they charged 16 dollars to use a credit card.
