We just stopped in on the way home. It was just a few locals and tourists but a very pleasant experience on a beautiful fall day. They have wonderful bands scheduled. Great stop between Blanco and Stonewall.

Loved the live music out on the patio. Beautiful large oak tree providing the best shade. Bartenders were friendly. Vibes were great for hanging out with a cold beverage and some casual snacks!

Cool old Texas Ice House open seven days a week. Kristin, the bartender and manager, is friendly and engaging and can make a mean Bloody Mary. There’s a food trailer always open, beautiful huge oak tree out back and a Texas size dancehall. Pups are welcome. Go! It’s a hidden gem.

Alberts bar is great! We also got food at Rex’s Creole Kitchen and it is terrible. One star. The cowboy burger was supposed to be 1/2 lb- it’s probably less than 1/4 and is the same size as the smash burger, which isn’t smashed. The “brisket” is less tender than beef jerky and the buns are burnt. This is insane for the prices. I couldn’t recommend the food truck less, but please check out the bar!

Food trailer didn't open till two o'clock pm. I didn't eat. Staff and management made me feel at ease. Cold beer and water hit the spot while I drank under the huge beautiful oak tree 🌳 😋 .

2nd visit & love this historic place. This time we bought advanced tickets for dancehall. Had a blast. Music was fun & we loved the large dance floor. Got there when doors opened to snag some seats. Bar also located in dancehall. When weather is nice, Albert has free live music on patio & under huge, old oak trees.

Our bus driver made this place our last stop and we loved it. It is an outdoor venue with live music surrounded by picnic tables and a dance floor. The band was really good. The venue was surrounded by beautiful large trees donut provided plenty of shade. There was also a food truck but didn’t try the food.

Hidden gem! Friendly staff; out and indoor full bar., Dance hall , for special events. Weekly, live free music under beautiful huge Oak trees .Lots of picnic tables and seating on the deck. Near Fredericksburg out in the sticks, worth the trip but recommend checking the schedule to make sure of hours.

Love this little off the beaten track bar and dance hall! Good margaritas and a decent selection of beer. Wine selection is okay. There is one food truck so food options are limited. The burgers from the food truck were great though! We went on a Saturday afternoon and the music was great. The giant tree provides lots of shade and there is a good amount of seating. Plenty of parking and dog friendly! If you’re looking for a less crowded, less touristy spot in the Texas Hill Country, try this out!
