Broadway Cafe Sugar Loaf Reviews
Luxury atmosphere, friendly servers and great food. It is a cozy space but there is outdoor dining. The gelato was excellent and croissant was warm. I felt like I was in Italy! 🇮🇹
The staff is friendly and chatty. The entire place is so cute and good for friends hanging out or date. The ice cream seems delicious I didn’t try it but I will next time. The matcha latte is so good. Will definitely come back.
What a lovely surprise this place was! The Lavender Matcha Oat Milk — AMAZING — and the almond croissant was absolutely delicious! Got to meet the owner, Joe, who was so kind and welcoming. 10/10 experience, can’t wait to come back!
My new favorite Nashville cafe. Delicious food and coffee. Kind, attentive service (even on a summer Saturday!) and wonderful music & vibes. They even have the most underrated feature of a downtown spot….. a parking lot!!! So happy to have this cafe 5 minutes away!
First stop after arriving in Nashville and didn't want to leave. Beautiful space, chill vibe, charming staff, and absolutely delicious menu. The chopped Italian sub and turkey and brie sandwiches were elevated by the fresh bread and thinly sliced savory deli meats. The cappuccino was the best too! Can't wait to go back for drinks and desserts! Update: went back on the way out. Ciao!
Saw this little cafe hidden away while walking and decided to stop in. What a wonderful surprise! Only open 2 weeks. A must visit for sure! Very chic and cozy. Welcoming staff. Delicious coffee. The croissant was AMAZING. I do not say that lightly - I've had enough sub par that I'm hesitant to try. My mom tried the chocolate one and it was the better option compared to my cream filled cake delicacy. Only thing was that there was no latte art on my latte - something that I always look forward too. But I did see it with another latte, so perhaps it was because the barista thought we were having our drinks to go, or the oat milk that I requested. Either way, definitely want to go back. They also make their own gelato in house!
Beyond amazed at this experience. The staff were so friendly and the food was excellent. We tried the cookie butter gelato which was so good. I ordered the flatbread and an iced vanilla latte and both were very tasty and most importantly very affordable compared to other places in the area. The owner came over and introduced himself. We chatted for a bit about the restaurant as well as the other restaurant he has in the area. The owner and staff were all so personable. I’m in shock this place isn’t packed.
We had a wonderful experience here! The gelato and espresso were better than I imagined it would be. Also, Ashley is incredible!! She was extra kind, helpful and so sweet to our daughter. She made the experience 10x better for us. We were so thankful for her! Will definitely be back!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE 😍 If you are looking for a low key vibe to work or just stopping in to relax with a friend and have some drinks, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!! The vibe is immaculate! I cannot begin to explain how classy and luxurious it feels! Not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable for the area!!
Stopped in on a Friday morning after hearing so many good things about this place. They are dog friendly, have a simple menu of coffees, fantastic gelato flavors (though we haven’t tried them yet), & simple pastries, as well. The barista was so sweet and gave our dog a pup cup! We ordered 2 spinach feta croissants, a quad honey iced latte, & a cappuccino and everything was delicious! The decor and vibe of this cafe is lovely. There’s also a patio in the back. Highly recommend!
Just a delightful and wonderful place with class in the heart of Nashville. Phenomenal banana bread and absolutely amazing coffee. Such an incredible space and friendly my staff with a moody atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.
FINALLY GOT TO COME HERE AND I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. First of all, free parking? In Nashville? Sign me up! Second of all, the staff was all so friendly and I loved it. Thirdly, the decor and the space is GORGEOUS 😍 I highly recommend coming here to read or work. The music was a bit loud but the playlist was fire. I ordered the flatbread and added pepperoni and hot honey, oh my gosh it was delicious. Perfect size and amount of heat. The pepperoni was thinly sliced and delicious. My husband got the chopped Italian sandwich which was really good as well. I would love to come back for the gelato but I was stuffed after lunch. Their coffee was good too, I would recommend the amaretto hazelnut latte. There is patio seating in the front and back of the cafe as well as indoor seating and the garage. Such a cool spot and I highly recommend checking it out.
I was driving by one day and saw this spot and immediately turned around and am SO happy that I did! The vibes are authentic European chill vibes, they had GF gelato options which were delicious, I tried the kale Cesar salad which tasted so yummy and an iced lavender matcha! Definitely will be back ☺️
One of my new favorite spots in Nashville, Lola’s takes you to an Italian café in downtown Nashville. The food was absolutely excellent, probably the best Italian chopped sub I’ve ever had. The gelato was out of this world in the atmosphere makes you never wanna leave. Could not recommend this place more!

Staff is so kind and attentive! Coffee was delicious and the place is unique, cozy and modern at the same time. This is our new go to coffee shop whenever we’re in Nashville!
The atmosphere in Lola's is definitely what makes it so great! We stopped here for a coffee during our trip to Nashville and really appreciated the vibes and the very kind employees that worked there. We got a regular coffee and a seasonal latte. The regular coffee was very average, but the iced latte was fantastic. It needed a little sugar, but obviously that was a personal opinion. Everyone was very kind. They had a large gelato selection that we didn't get to try but we were very intrigued by! Would recommend a stop if looking for a cute local coffee shop.
This spot is quickly becoming one of my go-to spots in Nashville to meet up with friends, clients and even family. The owners have done a really great job picking the location (parking is amazing btw, esp given the usual mess it is in Nashville) and decor inside is always on point. Drinks are also great and I've had a couple of the food menu items and they've been stellar. Really hope to see more establishments like Lola's here in town. Really a great addition to the city!
We stood on the back patio in 20° weather for a minute until it cleared inside, and the owner kindly turned on the big heaters for us. 10/10 plus the pastry and coffee are so good and it’s a gorgeous cafe plus they have their own parking! Again, 10/10!!

Great coffee and excellent atmosphere. As far as good coffee goes the prices are extremely reasonable. Not sure why there’s a Porsche 550 Spyder just chilling in the adjacent building behind the glass but that added to the experience.

Atmosphere was amazing, very laid-back luxury vibe. Service was quick and friendly, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the space. I had the seasonal item, a grilled cheese with tomato soup. It was good and had a great cheese pull. The coffee was solid as well. Really liked the vintage cars and motorcycles inside, they add a lot of character to the place and make it feel unique. Overall, a great spot to hang out and enjoy good food and coffee.
ola’s Café in Nashville nails the kind of coffee shop vibe that makes you want to linger. I tried their iced vanilla honey latte — not my personal favorite ever, but still really good. Smooth, slightly sweet, and full of bold flavor without being overpowering. Definitely worth trying if you’re into unique, house-crafted lattes. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really elevated the whole experience. The space itself is just as inviting — clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of natural light. It strikes a great balance between cozy and modern, with a touch of personality that makes it feel like a local favorite. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink or looking for a chill spot to hang out, Lola’s is a solid pick.

First, I want to say that La Lola’s has some of the best gelato I’ve had in Nashville, which is why we come here at least once or twice a week. That’s also why I confidently brought friends from out of town and hyped it up for its generous portions. Unfortunately, tonight was a complete letdown. The servings were shockingly small and honestly embarrassing. We ordered a medium cup with two flavors, yet the portions looked smaller than a small and didn’t even fill the cup. It was awkward having to explain to my guests why what I bragged about didn’t match what was served. This experience was incredibly disappointing. I might consider returning, but only if I’m served by a more hospitable staff member.
