The Courtyard Ale House Sunnyside Reviews
Best pub in the area.
Amazing vibes and has a great view of the TVs with all games showing. Cheap and great Guinness and karaoke on some day :)
Good KJ host. This venue gets very crowded for the Karaoke
Excellent bartenders and quality service.
Great staff, great drinks amazing prices
Amazing bar with great drinks selection, lovely staff and friendly atmosphere - during our 8 night stay in NYC we went 5 times to this bar!
The bartenders are awesome. Fast and quick witted. The best in the biz
Great local bar. Updated 4/17/24/ Just realized my last review was from 4 years ago. Thankfully Jenna is gone. This is hands down the best bar in Sunnyside. Jenna is the worst. She is unbelievably inattentive. Tell her to stay off of her phone and pay attention to customers. If she were the only bartender you’d have a 1 star rating.
My flight ar LaGuardia was canceled so I got a hotel in queens. I went to Cortland Ale house where Sined was minding the stick and poured me a fantastic pint. I asked her if they served food and she said no but recommended the tacos sin tequila. She said the food was great and I have to agree. She had a great personality and warm smile. The people were friendly and welcoming. It is a great place to relax with a great atmosphere.
Neighborhood pub with a great selection of beers and awesome service. Always a football match to be seen. They let you bring your own food or order in. Tip well and enjoy what a true Pub in Queens should be.
Minor drawback is they don't serve food, but they have a delicious taco truck outside. Bartenders are awesome and they respect the buyback policy. Many events/singers/guest dj's here as well. Also, there's a patio in the back
Incredibly comfy and laid back for a place with so many beers on tap. Bartenders are friendly and drinks are cheap for this part of queens. No food but you can bring from outside. Was recognized by my third visit.
The best beer bar in Queens. 24 taps that change every few days, with some of the best American craft beers, many of them from New York. They've had the same bartenders for years, all true professionals. We've thrown several parties on the patio, which are the best deal in NYC - all you do is pay for the beer and you barbecue your own food and plug in your iPod. They even set-up and clean-up for you.
Great live music! I was here for Sunnyside's Irish Music Festival back in March. The Prodigals (awesome band) played an amazing set. The place was packed and the bartenders were super cool. I didn't get to try the taco truck outside that everyone raves about...next time! Just an overall welcoming vibe. I'm looking forward to coming back during the day for a rugby or soccer game.
It was good. Place is clean. Unfortunately the shutdown has def hurt them some taps are a bit stale. Website needs to be updated as food is not offered anymore but able to bring in from neighboring establishments. Will try again as restrictions are being lifted
Forest hills local spot. Great for games and beer. Their selection of beer is pretty good and happy hour is decent prices. Food is decent. It's basically bar food. Nice atmosphere, people are nice. Defintely enjoyed watching some games there.
Uninterested bartender. They hung Halloween decorations in front of the TVs!! 8 bux for a beer! Only reason they even get a star is they have a decent beer selection, but so does Maggie Mae's across the street is a lot friendlier.
