Im appalled at the amount of food in the bowls I ordered. Less than a full scoop of everything I asked for. Additionally there were employees yelling at each other, one on break harassing one of the people behind the counter and the guy behind the counter was using slurs.
I rarely rate restaurants but this is the first time I’ve been annoyed enough to write a review. I eat at chipotle minimum once a week, sometimes multiple times a d week and almost always get the kids quesadilla or a burrito. Got the kids quesadilla here and they said that if I wanted the meat on the side then I would have to pay extra. This is the only chipotle I’ve ever gone to to work like this and they told me “different chipotles have different rules”. Overall just a negative experience, the staff was kind of rude, not so much to me personally, but the person before me was clearly shorted on meat and asked for a little more and the staff member helping him caught an attitude and switched places so she didn’t have to deal with him. That was my first clue that I should’ve just walked out and hit my normal chipotle 😂. Idk if this is a franchise company or not but overall I don’t reccomend this chipotle, spend your money elsewhere if you have the choice!
If you get the salad bowl they give you very little salad lettuce all the time. At the end when they see that the bowl is half empty I always have to ask for more salad when it’s obvious the bowl is low on food. When they pull out a new bin of lettuce it’s always only half full too. But you get charged full price. Also the tables are always filthy so I end up taking my food to go. I go here weekly during lunch and my experience is consistently that this is the worst Chipotle in the area.
This is the second time I’ve been to this Chipotle in two weeks, and it is impossible to find a clean table both inside and outside of the restaurant. It was not busy, and I don’t understand why this place is so unsanitary, especially considering the current health climate in Texas. The employees are nice people, and the food is fine, but please start cleaning tables after people leave, with some sort of frequency. This is not ok.
All the reviews about the rude staff are true. I hadn’t been to a Chipotle in a while (Cabo Bob’s is way better), but I stopped here to pick up food to take to a relative and their spouse in the hospital nearby. I guess I fumbled the ordering process—with only one person behind me—and two of the ladies behind the counter immediately started lecturing me, talking over me, and literally arguing over three meals which is their job to make. I don’t know why I didn’t walk out and go another location, but don’t ever go here.
This does not reflect chipotle has a whole but just this location. This place is gross. Employee was eating in the kitchen while he was prepping food, no clean tables, floors are filthy and the employees seem more interested in bantering with each other than helping customers. Very unprofessional.
They need to hire a new manager and new staff. Very unprofessional managers and shift managers. I went there to dine in employees all talking in the front without assisting the customers. They were rude. The manager Dee is very unprofessional as well as the shift manager Suzie. They need new management. My friends always complain about this place and nothing gets done about it!
POOR food, service & environment. This location appears to be the only location, which charges twice for a side of rice for your tacos. Steak is dry. Chips stale. Floor is sticky. Please skip this location. There are much better locations for the Chipotle aficionados!
Protein portion was literally half a spoon , I asked the server if that was it and she said yes... Honestly this is the first chipotle I've seen that just gives very little protein, I had to get extra side of protein $5.35 because it was very little. I saw it on tik tok , but I didn't believe this was a real thing.
By far the worst experience I have had at chipotle. I Go inside everyone else is dressed accordingly and up to code besides 1 person. Hair is not done and has the worst attitude, she has an attitude with 4 people above. I asked for a burrito she mumbled under breath I asked for extra rice mind you I asked for extra “rice” not meat. She proceeds to give me a quarter scoop. I walked out. Chipotle doesn’t open until 10:45am this happen at 1:50pm. Don’t work in this industry if you flustered in under 3hrs.
Why would you hire people like that, black girl in the counter was kind of rude, like if they were forcing her to be there, also, she was looking really unhealthy, and coughing all around the food while serving it, she was going through something probably but nobody deserves to be treated rude. It's just a small interaction there, it's not like full service.How can you messed that up!
Wouldn't even rate it 1 star if it gave the option. Came in to wash my hands before I ordered my meal. There was no paper towels in the dispenser, restroom reeked of urine/feces... informed the girl at the counter there was no paper towels.. shrugged it off, said, "I just work here." And continued her conversation with another female worker. Never coming here again and this was my first time to try chipotle.
Every time I come to this location I am disappointed. It is typically very understaffed and certain staff members disappear for long periods of time when there is clearly a demand at the front. One time I asked for lettuce and the employee looked at the almost empty lettuce bowl and said they were out of lettuce and refused to check for more in the back. The seemingly more senior employee called to the back and they came with more lettuce almost immediately. Also, the restaurant is always dirty. The floors, tables, benches, and soda fountain area are always a mess. One of the bigger issues is the fact that the soda machine is always broken/down. It's very surprising how many times I have gone in there and not even been able to get water. Anyways, I hope corporate can intervene to some extent at this location to turn it around, because I will no longer be going to this restaurant.
Why do I have to pay for 2 kids meals when my son only wants 2 basic cheese quesadillas? He's 5, he's picky and doesn't want the rice, beans etc. He just wants 2 cheese quesadillas. It takes 5 seconds in the tortilla press. This has never been an issue at any Chipotle I've ever visited.. except here. I'm not blaming the workers, they told me it's policy. Chipotle- make it make sense to me.
The food was horrible and under cooked. It’s 12pm and they have no food ready. Terrible and unsanitary conditions. This place is gross. For $16 you hardly get any meat. Calling Austin health department. The manager Dee needs to train her employees way better than this and to make sure the meat is cooked throughly before someone gets really sick.
Absolutely terrible. Waited 20 minutes in line and they are out of all of their rice. No problem, “how long until the next batch is done?” 25 minutes they said. They don’t know how to run this place. Been visiting here for a while, guaranteed they will be missing at least one piece of your bowl every time. Today was just my last straw. NEVER AGAIN UPDATE: I haven’t been to this location in 10 months, I go to a chipotle that is 10 minutes further away. Life is good.
I’ve been to this Chipotle location several times before, and unfortunately, the experience is consistently disappointing. The place is often dirty, the staff is careless, and this last visit sealed the deal for me — I won’t be coming back. I came in with my family for dinner. After ordering, I asked for two water cups — one for myself and one for my 3-year-old toddler. While we were at the drink station, my toddler begged for juice instead of water. To avoid a meltdown in the restaurant, I poured him just a small amount — maybe a quarter of the cup. The restaurant was dead, close to closing time, and the juice dispensers had clearly been sitting there all day. Instead of handling this with understanding or basic customer service, the employee behind the counter loudly called me out in front of everyone, saying, “Sir, those are water cups, they’re for water only.” I explained that it was for my child, and I even offered to pay for it. Only then did she backtrack and say it was fine. But the way she handled it was rude, embarrassing, and unprofessional. Chipotle isn’t losing money over a few ounces of juice, but they are losing customers because of their poor service and lack of common sense. Between the consistently dirty dining area, the unhelpful staff, and this latest incident, I’m done with this location.
I went to this Chipotle to pick up an online order and didn’t receive my order for 25 minutes. They had lost my order and it took them 15 minutes to realize it, after I asked for an update twice. The woman who ended up making my order was rude and acted like I had inconvenienced her. I understand that things happen, but a quick apology and/or taking ownership for the mistake would go a long way. This is the second time that something like this has happened to me at this location
Absolutely disgusted with the service here. Waited a full 20 mins past when I was told my online order would be ready, to be served what appeared to be microwave defrosted soggy lettuce. After trying to request help with this through the app, was shut down multiple times with a message saying my issue couldn’t be processed at this time, and the text chain ending. Have loved chipotle for years and, cannot believe how low they have sunk as of late in quality and service. Will not be returning, and recommend finding another location if you do.
Hate leaving bad reviews, but I have to agree with the community response. Been coming here for 15 years, but after my past 5 visits, there's something about this location that is just plain worse than all the others in Austin. Food takes forever to make, portions are small, they're frequently out of key ingredients, and the customer experience is usually lacking. This location wasn't always like this, but it's gone downhill and is now a quadruple threat of bad customer satisfaction. Go to literally any other location ☹️ Edit: thought I'd come by after a year to this location to see how it's changed. ITS FILTHY. There's not a single table without food or garbage on it, and the soda machine was a mess. The prep stations looked like a war zone. All the trash cans were overflowing. A line was out the door. A man asked for a refund for his soda, as the machine was out of order, and there was nobody on duty to authorize the refund. Photos attached. This is wild. I don't know who is managing this location, but they should be embarrassed.
