I have always loved this secret gem. I've only gotten actual cooked food there a couple times and it's always been good. Years ago I worked around the corner and ordered a veggie boat with their house made ranch (best ranch on the planet!). It's a reasonable price and a lot of veggies for $5. I could literally just eat the ranch with a spoon if it was socially acceptable. The staff is amazing and it's always been all women. I have never seen a man behind the counter ever. They work as a silent special forces team while preparing food. I've never seen anything like it. These women work together like a couple that's been married for 80 years. Highly recommed!!!

A hidden gem!! We were traveling along thruway and happened to get off an exit without a game plan for food. Serendipity shined on us and led us to this cute little breakfast/lunch spot. From the number of locals that cycled through getting their 'regular' I knew we'd found a gem. The Mac and cheese is amazing. I paired that with the fish sandwich. Fantastic food, super friendly staff, and a great menu.

While waiting for a family member to arrive at the airport, we had a bit of time to spend. How about some coffee? Sure! How about this cute little mom and pop shop? Why not! Wow, what a treat! Friendly service, good coffee and great French fries. We'll definitely be back again!

Stopped in here on a road trip instead of a big chain. Definitely got what we hoped for! Good food & friendly people. The best onion rings I’ve ever had. You could tell most of the customers were regulars, which goes to show the food, prices and service are good. Kid friendly too

These people are the sweetest ever omg. I wish i had a place near me that was as welcoming and as wholesome as this. Super great food, quick service, amazing people, and cheap prices. I'm not going to give it a one star because I haven't had the chance to try it out, but I called to order an omelette sandwich around 12, and was told they were on lunch. I would expect that from a fast food, but a Diner? Give me a break please, I could have been a long term customer given the fact I work right around the corner, but too bad because I was really looking forward to trying it out. Arrived in Syracuse on work around 6:30 am on a Wednesday. I was starving after driving all morning on the thruway and was happy to find a local breakfast spot rather than a chain. I cannot say enough about how impressed I was by this little diner. I ordered their daily special breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, cheese on an english muffin). It was reasonably priced, served up hot and fast, and was to die for. The service was exceptionally friendly as well. If you're in the area and hungry, Sunshine's is an easy choice.

I've been coming here, on and off, for many years. Every single time, literally EVERYTIME, the staff is always friendly and welcoming! The meals are very good, especially for the price! They have very reasonable prices across the board. I wish I could give more stars, because a 5 star rating isn't enough for this place. I can't recommend it enough!

My partner and I get Sunshine for lunch pretty frequently and the food is always good and is fairly priced. The service is always beyond incredible. Everyone is very friendly and hard working, keeping wait times very minimal even during busy times.

This place seems to have a very loyal following. The lady at the counter knew many people by name. The food was good. I didn't have anything exotic. Just a burger and fries but it was busy through the lunch rush. Nice little local own diner.

I don't know this family or these people but they are great at what they do and a great choice for a quick lunch break from work.

This place is one of the best places on earth to get breakfast. At work, we try to order from here every single Friday. The service is friendly and the food is AMAZING. One of the best omelets I've ever had and they're awesome every single time. These people never fail to make some of the best food Syracuse has to offer. Highly recommended.

Sweet and friendly people serving up your basic diner dishes at affordable prices. They make some great breakfast sandwiches and the coffee is good. I wish they offered eco-friendlier packaging options since takeout cups and containers are foam (hence the 4 stars) but I will gladly go there any time just for the smiles!

Great shop to grab a quick bite to eat for both breakfast and lunch. The prices are very cheap! The service is always fast and friendly. I usually get bagels in the morning with coffee, however you can get full breakfasts here. It has a small coffee shop atmosphere which is a great plus in the morning. If you have the chance I highly recommend eating here!
