Stopped by here because we heard that this was one of the few places at Armature Works that offered happy hour. They do! Their house wine is something that I would keep going back for time and time again! It was so good I forgot to write down the name. They offered half off on appetizers which came out very tasty and pairing well with the wine. Service was good and attentive. It was a great experience and we will definitely be stopping back by!!
Excellent wine selection. You are able to buy wine by the bottle and drink it outside. You can also do wine flights which are really fun! They do serve food which is great. Don't skip the truffle fries! The staff is super nice and will explain everything to you. They also have some nice beers on draft too. You won't go wrong at Cru in Armature works!
I’ve wanted to try this place for ages. So happy we made the time. Although eating such an elevated meal out of a card board box isn’t normally my thing... it was a nice treat. Really delicious.
Hidden jem in Armature Works! Great wine selection, delicious appetizers (creamy feta dip with honey and pistachios and truffle fries are my favorite) and amazing and friendly staff!
Seriously the best burger and wine I’ve ever had. I loved the atmosphere and the girls who work here. They created the best experience here at cru cellars.
Had sampling’s here of wine and local craft beers and had a great time with the bartender! Super friendly and the drinks were delicious and the perfect price to try a few!

The food we had was very good. My chicken sandwich was huge and tasted great! Our bartender/server was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return and try their other menu items. Keep up the great work!

Great selection of wines. Very friendly and knowledgeable servers. The signature Steak Fries menu item has wonderful sauces, the chimichurri Is a very good take on the real thing and the House Steak sauce is great! The steak done with sous vide method did not have that buttery texture and that savory steak flavor was just not there....the fries were great! Perfectly cooked toasted skin but wonderfully cooked on the inside.
We were in Armature Works for seeing the decorations for halloween and we decided to have dinner from the food stalls at Armature Works. We decided to have dinner from Cru Cellars as it was recently opened. From cru cellars we started the order with beer Bell's Oberon Wheat Ale Single beer and for food we ordered Chicken tenders with regular fries and Buffalo Cauliflower. The good thing about them is that they took my number so that when food was ready they would text us. When food was ready we received the text from Cru Cellars. The beer was local and amazing. Amazing wheat beer to have with dinner. Then we had our food which included Cauliflower and chicken tenders. The food was hot and perfectly cooked. It felt like the food was freshly cooked. The buffalo cauliflower and chicken tenders were delicious and we loved the food. Amazing food to try from Cru Cellars.
The service was 8/10 and the burger was really good. The fries were cold and tasted stale. After I complained they served a fresh batch of hot fries...100% better. I would definitely recommend the burger with 🔥fries.
I'm a firm believer in playing to strengths and not holding weaknesses against businesses. Cru is known for wine- if you're at Armature Works and want a nice glass of wine, go to Cru. The prices are varied, so groups work. The selection is great. If you're hungry... Well, go to somewhere known for food. That being said- 4 stars because I think their menu is a little out of reach for them. Otherwise an amazing option for drinks :)
Great wine! My favorite was the Sweet Red Calatroni Sangue Di Giuda. 🍷They also have a Unique and delicious charcuterie board.

Need to give this place another shot when it is not crazy busy. Ordered the Ybor Chicken which was supposed to be spicy but not spicy at all. It was still very good but when you want spicy, you want spicy! Service was fast even with as busy as it was. Seating was horrible, we had to poach a table from people who were probably not ready to leave but us hovering over them helped our cause. Added: Fries were amazing! And they gave us enough that our entire group was able to snack on them!

This review is just based on bar service. Not very impressed with this particular establishment at Armature Works. I went here when it was in the late evening. It's a nice bar area, but overpriced and the service can be hit or miss even when not busy. The pours are okay and come in a plastic cup with a hard stop line of where to pour. It keeps it consistent, but I just prefer a glass instead. I'd just rather hit up one of the other bars while here. Just not my first pick.

I like this place and have eaten there several times. Great wine selection and the steak frites is really good. Increasingly however the service has been below average to plain bad. The breakfast menu should just be done away with as it is terrible. Worse the service by a 30-40 something woman today was rude and dreadful. Absolutely someone who should never be in the service business. No help, and just ambivalent at best to all at the bar. I know it's difficult to find good service workers today, but they are usually better here. I will come back and hope for the best one more time. Nobody was happy with the server today.

Food is over priced and smelled spoiled simply put. My visit to the restaurant was a truly sickening experience. The steak sandwich I received had an absolutely foul odor, and the taste was nothing short of nauseating. The only redeeming aspect was the decent quality of the fries. This restaurant needs a drastic overhaul to ensure that customers don't have to endure such a stomach-churning encounter in the future. Stay away
Didn’t even get to order. Bartender was very slow and wouldn’t even get to take the order of the people in front of me for more than five minutes of them just standing and looking at her. Don’t service people know the faster they get to people the more tips they can make? They’re leaving money in the table making people wait so long. This bartender in particular might want to figure this out since, by the looks of her, she has an eating habit to finance.
Steak sandwich was not what the description said. Basically a $20 thin hamburger patty (what they call “shaved ribeye”) with no béarnaise sauce and seemed like the “fresh baked artisan bread” was straight from Trader Joe’s… so crazy that the quality went downhill from the restaurant to Armature Works. Unbelievable, 25 bucks spent on an awful dinner definitely ruined my time at armature.
Ordered the new steak sandwich and fries. The pictures of the steak sandwich looks great. At $16 I figured I was going to get a nice small sirloin. When it came out the “steak” looked like one thinly sliced piece of shaved steak that usually goes on a Philly steak sandwich. It also had one leaf of arugula and a couple of tomato slices on a nice buttered bun. Single cheeseburgers at McDonald’s have three times the meat that was included in this sandwich. The waiters and waitresses never asked myself or anyone around me “how is everything?” My guess is that they've learned not to ask that question after they had received many negative responses. If there was a 1/2 star rating for this meal that’s what I would have given it. Stay away! I just read your response and I did not think it possible, but your recovery effort was less impressive than our experience. No, I won't be giving you another try, even if you offered a complimentary meal which you failed to do
