O'Briens Irish Pub Temple Reviews
It's like going to the old country. Thay make the best cornbread you can get. Fish and chips 🍟 are to die for.
This was one of the best experiences we've had. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back again.
Thanks so much for the excellent service! Everyone, if you go to O’Brien‘s Pub, make sure you get the garlic parm fries! Delicious!
Came here by recommendation. Try the pizza, did not disappoint. Beers is poured well, vibes are good, would recommend.
Came to O’Briens today after seeing ads on Facebook of their “SHEPHERDS PIE”. First and foremost the bartender Shelby is an amazing bartender/server & very knowledgeable of everything o’Briens related. The atmosphere is very relaxed and right now is the Christmas season so it was very season festive. Now the food…. Let me tell you THE FOOD IS AMAZEBALLS!!! Shepherd pie or really they told me it’s actually called Cottage pie is perfect for the upcoming cold months ahead with ground beef and potatoes flavored to the nines. The pizza was something I did not expect to be as good as it was in an Irish pub but here we are and my tastebuds were just taken on a vacation. Definitely stop by O’Briens for some really good food. I’m not a drinker but have beer and drinks to last a lifetime.
Sooooooo good! Best burger I’ve had in a while and the kids scarfed down the pizza. Bring the family!
My fiance and I have been coming to Obriens for years since we were newly dating and have absolutely loved it since the beginning. We have always felt welcomed by the staff and spent many nights talking to Ryan the owner at the bar. Still years later we love to stop by and have a beer on a date night. Highly recommend stopping by!
I had a greatly enjoyed my time at O'Brians Irish Pub. The beer was cold and fresh and the food was delicious. I had their Bangers and Mash and it was fantastic.
This is a really neat place to go and unwind. The food is great! The service even better!! Shelby is wonderful!!!! Thanks for contributing to a wonderful time in Temple.
My wife and I enjoyed hanging out at the bar on a Saturday night while checking out downtown Temple nightlife. It’s a great bar with a decent assortment of beers on tap. We were especially happy to find Smithwick’s on tap. The bartenders - Shelby and Skyla (I apologize if I misspelled!) were great. They gave us lots of info on the bar and Temple in general. The live entertainment that night - James Stone was also very good!
Gluten-free didn't eat. Fun fun fun, great times there. The band Madstone was fantastic!
Came in for to go pizza and the young lady behind the bar was very upbeat and filled me in on the live music. From a guy who may not drink anymore....they are still very welcoming. Will be back for dinner and the young lady musician in mid Sept.!
My husband and I tried them via Doordash. They had the buy 1 get 1 pizza deal. We got 2 of the all meat pizzas. The pizza was delicious. We will definitely order more in the future. I saw some things on their menu I'd like to try like the "Wisconsin Cheese Curds" or "Fish & Chips". My husband would like to try the "Pizza Fries" or the "Reuben Pizza".
exactly what you want from an irish pub. food was good, might ask for extra sauce on the side for some of the burgers fish and chips have actual cod, which was a huge plus. delicious. will try the shepherds pie next time. nice servers, pleasant atmosphere. musics a bit loud outside but no real complaints.
Tried this place back in April 2025 with my cousin and aunt while visiting my sister at Temple College. Went around 10:30-11pm, food and drinks were really good! It wasn’t really packed for a Saturday night which was surprising. But maybe one day when I’m around Temple I’ll try this place out again!
Why is this place empty? What’s going on here? The bartender was nice. The food was excellent. Venue looks old school. Chill. Maybe you don’t open an Irish pub in central Texas. I’ll go back. Had a good time.
A great Irish bar with dark wood and a relaxing sitting area. Their staff is ready to educate you on the wide variety of beers! Their menu is full of traditional American staples like hamburgers and hot dogs all well prepared . They also have Irish menu items which is the perfect complement to a wide beer assortment.
I love to come by when I’m in town. The atmosphere is always relaxing and nice to have a drink with friends. The steak and the shepherds pie are my favorites and both pair well with beers. The owners run the bar most nights and are a joy to talk to.
Hubby took me here on date night and I loved the atmosphere. Super chill. Enjoyed my jack and coke. Well portioned. Every employee was very friendly. We tried the Sheppard's pie and fish and chips. Chefs kiss. Perfect. 🤌 We sat in the smaller area and made our drinks very enjoyable and intimate. Also...tons of beer options. Hubs was a kid in a candy store.
Stopped in for a drink before dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bartender was super nice and friendly!
Little Gem downtown. Quite, drama free relaxing atmosphere. They also have live music at times. They have traditional Irish bites & pub foods aka bangers. Knowledgeable staff and great beers on tap. Be it local or craft they have an array and change things up frequently. The bar tenders know how to make any drink you ask for. There is no cover when there is no band which is perfect for me. Outdoor seating is also available & there is no smoking inside which is great for us non smokers
