I ordered through door dash and the meal was as if I was dining in. The meal was prepared and packaged so well. I had a to-go margarita that was awesome. The food was so good and delivered well because of the care they took in packaging, which makes a big difference.
Arleth was a phenomenal waitress! She was kind, genuine and personable. She made the experience that much better! Mambo taxi was also fantastic :)
It was a good place to have dinner. The service was great! Arlet was friendly, she answered all of our questions (always with a smile on her face). We'll definitely go back!
Great service from start to finish! Our server Oswaldo was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. A special thank you to Manager John for running such a well-managed and welcoming place. The whole experience was excellent, and I highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back!
Great food. Came here for my coworkers holiday party. Our waitress was very friendly and quick to fulfill requests and ensure everyone was taken care of. Atmosphere was nice as well and the alcoholic drinks were well balanced. Definitely a great place for a gathering, date or just a casual night with some friends.
My husband and I absolutely LOVE Mi Cocina. It is our go to date night restaurant and one of our things is to try a different location each time :) This location is in our top 5 favorite. My husband and I are both in hospitality management and this location happens to be next to both of our hotels. With that being said, since we love Mi Cocina. We always recommend this location to our guests. Anytime anyone asks me what a good place to eat is, I immediately without hesitation direct them here and 9 times out of 10. Guests do go and come back telling me how much they loved it. My husband decided to go in and order a meal to go to surprise me at work for my birthday and oh my goodness. The food was extra flavorful here. This has been by far, the best Mi Cocina Beef Fajitas that I've ever had. He also noted that he was impressed with the customer service and how attentive the staff was which is a big deal to us. We are going in person this upcoming weekend for a dine in date and I cannot wait!!!! We recommend the following menu Items: Beef Fajitas (50/50 tortillas) Chicken Fajitas (50/50 tortillas) or half and half!! Beef Fajita or Chicken Nachos White Queso with Ground Beef (THE BEST) Brisket Quesadillas Chicken Flautas Drinks: Mambo Taxi Paloma Mango Margarita Dilema Mambo Limousine El Patron We choose Mi Cocina for Dates, Business, Family. It is the perfect restaurant for any occasion. Mi Cocina, We love you!! UPDATE: We went in person and had the most amazing experience. We also tried the Queso Fundido for the first time and it was a solid 10/10!! Service was phenomenal, food was perfect, drinks were too. Mi cocina does not dissapoint.
My lovely bride and I joined our friends for lunch on Sunday at the Nebraska Furniture Drive location in The Colony. We were all very impressed and pleased with the food and the atmosphere. But by far the best part of the experience was the service! Our waiter was a delightful young man named George J. He was friendly and always "Johnny-on-the-spot" with anything we needed. He was funny, had a fantastic attitude, and looked like he truly enjoyed serving us. We feel this is a direct result of the management, so we asked to speak with his manager, Roger. My suspicions were correct! Roger is exceptionally customer experience oriented and drives that attitude in a manner that filters down through the staff. If you find yourself near the Nebraska Furniture Mart area in Frisco / The Colony, do yourself a favor and drop in for some great food and even better service.
I had an amazing experience at Mi Cocina today. Andrea took care of me and she absolutely crushed it. Her energy was warm, her timing was perfect, and she made the whole visit feel smooth and enjoyable. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests because she checked in at the right moments, offered great suggestions, and kept everything flowing without ever feeling rushed. The food was great, but Andrea is the reason this visit stood out. She made the entire experience feel top tier. If you visit Mi Cocina, ask for Andrea. She will take great care of you!!!

Of all the Mi Cocina’s I’ve been to this location is still my fave. So nice & upscale looking. Our server Josh was very personable and attentive. Food and drinks always great!
The Salmon Adobo (new menu item) was great. The manager John came by to check up on us after our meal. We came during Sunday lunch and got seated immediately.
One of my favorite Mexican food restaurants. You’re greeted by friendly employees, receive excellent service, and then enjoy amazingly delicious food. Highly recommend anytime you see one of their locations.
I've never had a bad Mi Cocina experience. Tonight my date and I both had the Tacos de Brisket for dinner. We both agreed they were great. Server was super nice and attentive. Restaurant, bar outdoor area and restrooms all have a nice ambiance.
We went here for a Sunday afternoon late lunch. It was pretty crowded but walked in for a table for two. No reservations but were seated right away. The waiter came over promptly to take drink orders and another server came with chips and salsa. The waiter took our food order right after he brought our drinks. I had the beef taco salad with ranch dressing and my daughter had the beef enchiladas. The food came quickly also. It all smelled and tasted as good as it looked. 😋 We had two managers in addition to the wait staff to visit the table on rotation to check on us making sure everything was to our liking and that we didn’t need anything else. I’m so pleased with this visit. Thank you to this Mi Cocina staff! We’ll visit again 🙂

Mi Cocina is a Mexican restaurant known for its authentic Mexican food. Being indian I am not aware of Mexican food items. I ordered items with the help of my relatives. Being vegetarian, we had very few options. However we enjoyed the food. Ambience is very neat and clean. Service was very cordial.

The waiter knew what she was talking about - she informed us upfront that their rice has chicken stock and the refried beans were vegetarian. The fajitas and the veggie quesadillas were loaded with vegetables and tasted great. The desert menu only had flan and tres leches. The ambience was great. Lots of ppl, yet it felt cozy in our nook.

Wasn't all that impressed and probably won't be a restaurant I choose to go back to. Rice tasted like it came from a package and the beans were blah. Presentation was great. It took well over 30 minutes for the food, never got the extra napkins we asked for and my iced tea had no ice. She kept refilling it and never thought to ask if I wanted more ice. If I going to spend my money on pricey food, I will find another one to spend it at.

My first experience with my wife and friends wasn’t great- granted the restaurant was busy when we arrived (3:00pm). There was one person ahead of us at the host station and we were not greeted nor acknowledged even when it was our turn. I made eye contact several times with the host and the other staff member she was talking to but still no welcome or acknowledgement at all until I approached directly and said we are meeting a group named “X.” The host then shows us a table near the bar so we had to repeat again that we were MEETING A GROUP NAMED “X.” She then there’s no groups by that name and shows us the party room to which our group wasn’t there. She then takes us around the restaurant awkwardly until our friend waves us over. The host then walks away without another word. Our server though was nice though very rushy rushy. I got the crispy chicken Verne enchiladas- a very bad choice that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The “enchiladas” looked more like flautas that had a sour taste, poor flavor and way too hard- yes I know it’s supposed to be crunchy but this hurt my teeth after! Hardly worth the $15 (see pics). The complimentary tortilla chips and salsa were your basic average store bought chips and salsa. The atmosphere was nice and clean and looked new though the music was too loud. All and all, I’d rather go somewhere else for Tex-Mex.
