The place was clean on a weekday morning that is a good sign. Bathrooms were near perfect for clean and sanitizing. One place a former cook and manager, like myself check first brfore ordering anything. If the staff can't offer a clean environment for serving food. Then you can only hope and pray they care where they prepare the meals. The store was perfectly cleaned and no overfilled trash containers. Bathroom was just cleaned look so I would go to this store anytime. To the whole staff there, thank you.

This is a great McDonald's. It is well run and managed, very clean (they garnish their tables with fresh flowers) and promp service. It's quite popular, so considering how busy they are, they keep up with the demand. And of course you can expect the normal quality of food that you would expect at any McDonald's. You'll get what you expect.

The young lady working the drive-thru and counter from 3am through early breakfast clearly has a passion to serve, Her commitment to great customer service vastly overshadows her presumptive wage. I had a good time. It was busy there they were quick and efficient. A fellow customer caused a slight issue by jumping ahead in the drive through. Messing up the order but I got my order with no issues just took a lil longer. Kudos to the teller she did a great job handling the situation. I commend her for her actions.

This McDonald's is in a class of it's own, it's the cleanest and most pleasant experience I have had in a McDonald's anywhere in the world. They have flowers on every table, the layout is superb and the staff is polite and courteous. Highly recommend!

Its such an odd place for a McD's but works perfectly, we can snag the kids a surprise treat meal and I get cross the street and snag my wife some DD. All while getting the honey-do-list from Walmart completed. Convenient and quick.

Ordered drinks n food were in middle of cleaning machine took 30 minutes n what we said we wanted for special burger wasn't done to what we said we looked on receipt n she didn't put it right so we just got our drinks n left hamburgers tasted like they sat in bin awhile

I love this place, but this is ridiculous. I don't go there often for a meal for the whole family, but the last four or five times I have gone up there, I have had to go back. Every. Single. Time. That is $8 for the cab there and back, and $8 for the second time, so we have to decide if it's worth it go back, or someone goes with out. Not my job to double check the bags, but I guess I'll have to from now on. On my way back for my mom's order 🤷🏼‍♀️🙄😓

Service is just fine. Expect a rush at meal times. Take the time to check your order when at the drive thru before you drive away, the staff is always happy to help you. This location consistently scores high in cleanliness and food safety.

Pretty much everytime we go the order is messed up. We just went and out of the 7 things we got two were the drinks and only the filet and a burger was made right. Food is as youd expect it to taste though and At least the deals are good on the app. They're pretty quick getting orders out even when the line is big but should be more attentive on the order and how it's made. Overall, I'd rate a 3 because other places have managed to get the food out fast and correct many times.

The new management at the store is absolutely horrendous I'm writing this as I've been sitting in the Drive-Thru for 45 minutes now. I've also watched three different customers sit at the drive-thru speaker not get any response and then leave. This is normal for this location now unfortunately. Fast food didn't exist here

Too long of a wait for your food and sometimes it's not warm. Prices are far too high. Update... it's getting a little better. Breakfast time is still a snails pace, but it's getting better.

I come here for double cheeseburgers. I don’t come here for salad, pizza, tacos, grilled cheese, mac & cheese, ice cream, shakes, or anything else like that. I just use the app and get a two for one double cheeseburgers for about three bucks and it’s a pretty good lunch and you gain points toward other food items in the future, I like how you can option for things like extra pickles because pickles make everything better. as for the ambience and whatever? I can hook up to the Wi-Fi and do paperwork during my lunch. And I guess it’s relatively clean because I didn’t have to wash ketchup or mustard off the seat of my pants after I sat down. The bathrooms are pretty clean too. I guess, because I haven’t had to go to the doctor for a penicillin shot or anything. It’s McDonald’s. If you don’t know what you’re getting into, you probably grew up in the Amazonian rainforest.

We went inside ordered our food and waited at the front desk because we only had cash to pay. We waited for at least 10 minutes until we saw a lady in the back we had to call her to come over if we didn’t call her over god knows how long it would’ve took to pay. After we paid we had to wait forever for our food it looked like only 2 people were working the lady was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. You can very easily tell that she’s one of the people in the service industry thinking there’re going super fast but in reality they’re just making everything super slow the other chill respectful guy in the back should be in charge she needs to focus on the task at hand rather than over complicating stuff.

Not sure is the kids there are lacking ambition or what but I can tell ya of you can't count money accurately you should not be handling it. Waited for my money to come back to me then waited an addition 5 minutes to receive my food while 3-4 people walk around doing God knows what.

We drove through the drive through and ordered 3 hamburger meals with some alteration on each meal. One of the hamburgers was only supposed to have bacon on it, and it came with everything. My wife took the offending burger back into McDonalds and told them it was wrong. Now they had the burger inside the building and they refused to exchange it for the right order without a receipt. I could understand if I came in off the street without a burger and told them I need a new one, but my wife had theMcDonalds burger in the McDonalds box. They still insisted on a receipt. We were unable to locate a receipt, however they did replace the burger. Then we found our burgers to be very small and over cooked . I can see why the rating is 3.4.

I ordered a bacon quarter pounder with cheese. As I was was eating my burger, I looked at it and the burger was actually raw. That went in the garbage. I always pull over to make sure that I have received everything and many times I have had to go back in because I didn't get my whole order or it was wrong. This is nothing new to people I know that have been there. The people are very friendly which is nice but the ball is being dropped BIG TIME!! not to mention everything is going way up in price. Not worth it. Also doesn't seem to be fast food anymore.

The food quality seemed to fine. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, a tea, and a juice. It took about 20 minutes which seemed much too long. The bathroom soap dispenser in the Ladies room wasn't working. We saw several staff enter and leave that restroom and they could not have washed their hands. I stood at the counter looking to talk to somebody and was thoroughly ignored by three different staff members who seemed to be lost behind the counter. They certainly didn't want to make eye contact or engage with me. It also appeared that a former employee who didn't want to wait in the Drive-Thru line came in to the restaurant and went behind the counter to get their food themselves. This looked awful to all of the customers in the restaurant but also I wonder about the cleanliness and how much distraction that ex-employee was causing for the current employees who were frankly struggling to provide acceptable service. I was a little surprised add how poorly managed this McDonald's restaurant seemed to be. It was a very bad look for the brand.

I waited at least 20min after ordering my food in the drive thru to get my order. No communication at all, just a sorry when they handed it to me. The only positive was that my sandwich seemed extremely fresh, but the fries were flavorless and unsalted.

Never EVER have I waited this long for drive through fast food. 20 minutes waiting for the window after waiting 10 minutes just for someone to answer the speaker. If I hadn’t already paid on the app I would have driven away. Absolutely horrendous.

Wow, worst McDonald's experience. Possibly overwhelmed staff with the event this weekend. No one at counter. Kiosks were either not working or out of receipt paper. Took 20 minutes to get a meal at our table.

I went for lunch. I watched a 13 yo child mess up my milk shake put it in another cup. Put his finger in it then make my partners strawberry milkshake in the cup that had chocolate in it. I will never give this place another dollar. If the food was free I'd still go somewhere else!!! By the way Danielle was the cashier and extremely rude also!!!!

So today, our food was delivered to the wrong table. It took several minutes before they noticed it wasn't theirs. The Mc D employee then tried to serve it to us after the people did who knows what to it! We asked for a refund and we got it. They lost $54 and we were never offered to have the food redone. No member of management even bothered to apologize or ask if they could fix it. There was only 3 customers in the building so they weren't very busy. The manager pulled the refund and handed it to the girl who served it incorrectly to handle. She apologized multiple times which was nice, but management should have stepped up and did something. I've never been so grossed out and disgusted in my life!

Everytime we go to this McDonald's they forget items. We ordered a Happy Meal for our grandson and received 6 nugget, sweet and sour sauce, and a toy, missing was apple pieces and French fries. This has happen before but we gave them another chance. The staff were in back not up front I had to wait 8 minutes for a person. We pay enough for product we should be assured when we get home it is there. So adios we definitely will not be back. Food sucks and servic.

Probably the worst McDonald's I've ever eaten at. The dining room was closed till 5pm. Had to eat in my car. Drive thru messed up our order leaving items out. Fries tasted nothing like what you'd expect from a McDonald's fry. Chicken mcnuggets were the dryest I've ever had. Tasted freezer burnt. You'll get much better tasting food at the gas station across the street, and you'll save money.

Update 12/03/2025- some things never change!! Still under horrible management. We walked in and a group of people suggested we leave as they had been waiting over a half hour and still hadn’t received their order as there was a very long line at the counter too. So we left… this place is pathetic! If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst customer service ever at this location. Slow and very confrontational employees. And if you use the Kiosk, plan on a much longer stay. You would think they would prioritize orders from the Kiosk to encourage people to use them, but they do not. HORRIBLE! And the owner responds to reviews…this just goes to show that they’re aware!!! Fix the problem!!

I don't want my review to be biased as I've worked for this Company/location years ago and I still visit and am friends with people who work here. This place is just inconsistent. Some days you'll receive great quick service and have no problems. Other days It seems the entire staff is new and undertrained. So they are rude and yelling at each other. Also I have had several incounters with one kid in particular who is just so rude all the time. If I pull up to the drive thru and hear his voice on the speaker I drive away.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN INSIDE! We made the mistake of going in to eat tonight with our 3 year old, since it was one of the only places open. We get inside to order and as soon as we sit down we hear the crew in the back swearing up a storm. I went to say something and the guy in the front acted like I didn't exist, my husband went up as well and managed to get someone attention. The guy says he's the manager and told them to watch their language, but he clearly wasn't since the actual manager came out a few moments later. They must have went outside since they couldnt be family friendly, the restaurant got very quiet you could tell they weren't in the back anymore. This is one of those places that's gonna make you think twice about going in next time, I know I will! Hopefully the owner Bill Marcellus (his name was on the door) will do some serious training because whoever he hired on belongs in a bar not a family environment.

Quite literally had to tell 4 different people that I wanted a quarter pounder plain, no cheese. I told the drive thru order taker, I told the kid who took the money. I was then handed a a burger with onions and pickles. I repeated I wanted it plain, no cheese. The lady in the window apologized, saying they had new people, and to please park. Then after a few minutes, a girl walks out and hands me a DOUBLE quarter pounder, plain, WITH CHEESE. 🙄 I walk in, and then explain to yet another person what I want. Another few minutes to by and a manger hands me a correct order. He's clueless when I explain how many people did not ensure that the order was taken and/or made correctly.

Do NOT try the new chicken strips here!!! We ordered 2 medium size chicken strips meals. My Dad said, " here, pick this one up!" It was Raw! I was grossed out! No one works up front so I had to yell to get their ATTENTION! So I heard them say" ok, guys we really have to try to cook these right." 20 mins later we received a new order in which neither of us wanted to try them. $30 for 2 meals we didn't eat?! Horrible!

As a veteran who actually open the McDonald's store in Ticonderoga back in 1982 I am very disappointed in the service at the McDonald's at the current time. When you can't even get a breakfast at 7:30 in the morning because the store is closed because you can't get Workers to work at the McDonald's and you have to wait until mid-afternoon to maybe if you're lucky get a lunch and if you're lucky the quality of food might be good but for the most part in a suspect and they don't get the orders right and when you are waiting for an order they're more interested in conversation between themselves and customer service. When I worked at McDonald's in Ticonderoga we believe in customer service and not carrying on a conversation between co-workers while the customer is waiting to be served. If I could give lower than a one-star I definitely would and this is coming from a veteran who worked there in the beginning. Went to take my daughter out for a quick breakfast on her birthday and after sitting in line for almost 10 minutes we got to the speaker to be told that they were not taking any more orders at the moment, no wait time given, just refusal of service. Great job, and thanks for nothing.

Last few times we have gone in waited over 30 mins each time. Favoring the drive through and making the lobby people wait. Obviously there short staff and need to keep there dinning room closed until then. I said something to them last time I went only because I ordered 1 sandwich and waited over 30 Minutes. As I stood there watching they must of sent out easily 20+ orders for drive. Not fair to people who are in a hurry and want something quick. I could of ordered a pizza and got it quicker and would of been cheaper too.

The absolute worst customer service I’ve seen in a long time! The employee that was working the front counter Sunday afternoon was extremely rude to me as well as another customer (senior) that was waiting like what seemed like forever for a coffee. Above the rudeness, our entire order was made wrong, although a fixed with the proper label for our “no pickles” request all sandwiches had pickles. Then when we requested new meals, the counter person informed me that they were now out of the sandwiches that I was requesting be remade. It was a truly awful experience and extended our already long drive over 45 minutes and we still left hungry!

Waited in drive thru for 25 minutes, I know my mistake. Only one window open. Car in front of me was at the service window for 13 minutes. Ownership has better get things straightened out soon. 30 minutes of my life I will never get back just for a breakfast sandwich!!

We ordered at the drive-thru and parked in the lot to eat. After finishing our meal, I needed to use the bathroom before our half-hour drive home, so I went inside. I was shocked by the filth and deterioration of the dining area and bathrooms. The bathrooms were filthy, the floors in both the dining area and bathroom were slimy and slippery, and there was trash everywhere. A woman at the sink mentioned there wasn’t any running water—gross! I didn’t use the bathroom there. We won’t be returning, even through the drive-thru. If the lobby and bathroom are that disgusting, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like!

5/13 7 pm This McDonald’s continues to deteriorate. As many have reported drive thru messed up our order. When I went in to get the correct order Dani the “manager ” (lol) never apologized. Refused to help until I produced the receipt (back out to car) even though I returned the food order I was given..( 2 chix sandwiches instead of quarter pounders). Then Dani insisted on doing a refund even though I said no just give me the correct order. She Wouldn’t give me the order until I went to car to get original form of payment! The icing on the cake is she never placed my order when I first made her aware. She did nothing to fill it quickly but waited till all orders ahead were filled!!! Then provided me with the correct food. Now orders can get messed up but she treated me like I was wrong. Like I was trying to get something I hadn't paid for. Where is the customer service, where was the effort to solve the problem without inconveniencing me anymore because of their mistake? This is an absolute shame. Prior to changing ownership, and store management several years ago it was an excellent establishment. The new owner does not run a tight ship. The managers are a joke. McDonald’s should revoke their franchise. This place is a disgrace! The correct solution should have been.. I am so sorry. What did you order ? Let me get that for you right away..and throw in an apple pie for my trouble!

9/14/24. Update. WOW. What a change since my last review. Today I decided to go with wife for breakfast and visit our friends. I sat down and use the app to do table side service as now days it is difficult at times to order from counter. Plus it was somewhat busy today. Must be leaf peepers. I place my order and waited. As time went by not food. My table number is 109. Someone a while ago removed the 109 sticker and it hasn’t been replaced. The surrounding tables have their numbers and I’ve not had a problem before using this table and it’s missing number. Finally my wife went up and found that my tray was put in the take out cubby. Well needless to say the “HOT CAKES” were DEFINITELY NOT HOT. By this time it was crowed and a line was forming. I knew it was not going to be easy to correct problem. I placed the ONE pad of butter on top of my THREE COLD CAKES and decided to return back home (ten minutes). Got home and warmed my cold food in microwave. The picture of un melted butter is a result of a ten min ride home. It will unfortunately be a while before I return. This is not my first recent dissatisfaction but just never reviewed. Curious if the new owner will respond. For Fast Food McDonalds this is one of my favorite McDonalds. More for a breakfast with my Pegztr. The staff is always friendly. Usually you will see the owner Scott there. Always a smile and hello. Scott takes pride in his McDonald Restaurants and it shows. Zack, manager is also very personable. He goes the extra mile. It is always nice to frequent a place that recognizes you and greets you like a person and not just another dollar 💵 heading to the cash register. If an error in food order happens they are quick to resolve and satisfy the customer.

Stay away! You will be disappointed every time! After the last couple of visits to this location we had extremely long wait times of at least an hour or more, no one to acknowledge customers or apologize for wait times. The drive up is a joke. They do not keep track of what side they are waiting on so we were skipped over multiple times making the wait even longer. When you finally get your food it is either cold or not the right order. Most unorganized and horrible customer service I have ever had. I swore I would never go back. This morning my husband decides he would try it again as it had been a year since we have gone. He used the mobile app for breakfast ahead of time , we showed up in the drive thru just after 10am. Waited in line and as usual were skipped over, other customers that had been waiting drove off. We waited so long that the menus switched over to lunch. We decided to then leave the line and go inside where multiple people were waiting, no one was at the counter to acknowledge anyone. Finally, after me calling the location, someone answered and I explained the situation of waiting for an hour and that my husband was waiting in the lobby with other customers with no one to even acknowledge them. She never apologized for the wait or even acknowledged that there was any problem and actually hung up on me. We were looking for a refund because clearly we were not getting our food and the order dissappeared because of the timeframe. I work in the customer service industry and am a very patient and understanding patron but in this case, individuals at that location need to be taught what customer service is. Patrons will respect that you are shorthanded, doing your best if the are acknowledged and not ignored. A simple I am sorry for your long wait, we are doing our best to serve you goes a long way.

Come here if you want to wait an hour for a hamburger and get blocked in. Took my son to pick up a mobil order and was parked on the inside lane. Was blocked from leaving the line due to the employees only taking orders from the outside line. This left everyone on the inside line unable to leave even if they desperately wanted to due to cars parked behind them. If there was ever an actual emergency nobody from the inside could have left if they wanted to. I have worked in the service industry and know how it can be when it gets busy and feel for the employees who were most likely working extremely understaffed. The 45 minute to an hour wait at this establishment is common place.

Wild. Passing by with kids. Regular hours (2:45p on a Friday) drive thru. Waited about 20 mins before we were even acknowledged. Worker said they only had 3 workers. Never expecting much, but here…Do better mcd’s corporate. Thats terrible.

Iced coffee tasted like water with cream mixed in. I’m pretty sure my McCrispy had been sitting under a heat lamp most of the day. I’m aware fast food isn’t gourmet but this place is seriously lacking.

Had signs that they were short staffed and to use the kiosks. That should have made us leave right then. But we ordered via the kiosks, and 24 minutes later received our food. Fries were cold, and so were the burgers.

Had the audacity to charge over 30 dollars for the food just to forget half the food in drive through. Then went to go inside only for 1 person to be working and didn't want to wait another 15 minutes just to get the rest of my order.

Worst McDonald’s in upstate NY. Food is always cold, fries soggy. The wait time is 30 minutes+ if they even remember you’re there from the time you order. Waited 20 mins for food, had to leave because needed to be to work. When the employees were asked about how much longer on the food, they said they were “busy” with only two cars in the drive-thru. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy…

We were in the outside ordering lane. They took three ahead of me in the inner lane. I yelled and no would answer. So we went inside the manager is screaming because they are busy. Kept asking how come we’re busy. The place was absolutely dirty and disgusting. If I wasn’t so darn hungry I would have went someplace else.

Walked in at approximately 9:25 AM. There were a total of eight people in the dining area, One of them was an employee hanging out with friends while the manager and him were yelling at each other, including obscenities. Ordered an egg McMuffin, One Breakfast burrito, Hash brown and coffee. Once it hit 10:05 AM, and I was still waiting, I just asked for a refund. Hands-down the worst McDonald’s experience ever, and that is saying something. Hey McDonald’s! I see a ton of other people were having the same exact issues! How about you freaking do something about it instead of just telling people to go to an online survey? You guys are terrible

I'm not sure who was running this place, if anyone. We put in a mobile order and it took around an hour before it was ready. They had to keep asking me what I was waiting for. The guys working there were nice and polite, but they seemed overwhelmed. It wasn't even busy. I was tempted to jump back there and help out.

The wait here has quadrupled in the past 3 years. It is not the employees fault. They have always been kind and hardworking. The owners should ashamed of their consistent understaffing. It is a real shame.

was the only one in line, placed my order, paid, went to the next window. My drink was ready, two employees leaning on the counter as if it might move. Never acknowledge I was waiting, 29 minutes later!! I finally get my ice cold food and they walked away without getting my drink!! I sat there a good 3 minutes before the manager realized I wasn't given my drink. Told her I would never be back, she LAUGHED... I asked what did you have to do find a cow to butcher.. I sure hope its at east warm... Definitely not the McDonald's experience here by any means. Better off traveling to Queensbury or Warrensburg for a fast, warm meal. the time to travel to these locations is the same time you'll be sitting here waiting for cold food that's supposed to be hot.

Ordered online through the app. Have been here at the drive thru over an hour waiting and they are just ignoring me while I sit at the screen with my order number. They are always understaffed and have even been turned away from ordering before. Whoever is running this place has no manager skills. Someone needs to take it over or shut it down.

Over an hr wait for nugs I waited longer here on a Wednesday afternoon then I would of at a 5 star gourmet restaurant on a Saturday night. I just don't understand why it takes soooooooooo long to make pre cooked food? I've been there in the past with no customers inside or at the drive thru and it took 10min to take my order and another 20min to complete it and that's with nobody there and me getting one 20piece nug (not even the meal). I can tell the community isn't pleased with this business and im wondering why they don't just close it down for good?

Laziest and most poorly run McDonalds I've ever been to. 20 minutes for a drive through, they screw up the order. Go inside to get the order corrected, wait another ten minutes, they screw it up again. When I asked another employee to fix it, he gave me an attitude when I asked to have it fixed. The attitude was adjusted when I flat out told him to do his job. Literally putting half slices of cheese on products that are showing a full slice (false advertisement). Employees dressed entirely unprofessionally (hoodies and looking like they haven't showered in days... near your food and open fryers). Order machines openly broken and flickering. What a mess. Waiting a half hour for a mediocre sandwich just to have it be screwed up (multiple times) and getting attitude for it by staff that look like they shouldn't even be handling food to begin with? No thanks! Last time I'm going here.

Horrible place. Employees were fighting with managers. Stating they were gonna take everyone out. It took fifteen minutes for someone to come to the counter to take our order.And another half hour to get it.If I didn't already pay twenty two dollars for our breakfast, I would have walked out.

Currently sitting in front of the drive through monitor for 30+ minutes without anyone offering to take my order. At the monitor since 5:48pm now 6:19pm with anyone yet to take the order. I said hi after 20 minutes someone said they are busy and i went back to waiting. After 40 mins I went in, Keosk didn't print a receipt and they refuse to print one out since there was the stick on tag, which is not a receipt on the bag. Over an hour to get food.

Worst run McDonald's I've ever seen, slow, inefficient, and dumb. Having to wait 10min for a precooked burger is not fast food. Maybe they should put the door down and pick the spatula up.

This is by far the worst McDonald's establishment you can visit. They are incredibly slow and the hours are awful. They open too late to make any sales to morning mill workers. Def losing money there. Even when there is no line you are forced to wait. Often waiting just to place your order then waiting again at the second window. There isn't much else in this town and it's sad that the primary local "fast" food establishment is this bad.

I can't rate my food I'm still waiting. The staff is standing around making random noises and just chatting instead of making food. There's people who haven't been waited on and its been over 15 minutes that they've sat at the counter...they should focus on cross training and not having everyone know how to use a register and a soda machine

We were returning home from dropping my daughter at college so I met my wife there with the daughters boyfriend. I had the best burger I've ever had at a McDonald's. My wife's burger was raw in the middle. She complained and got a new one that was fine. His Teo sandwich meal felt like a pack of ice had sat on top of it. The wrapper was moist and the bun was very cold. He refused to complain and did not finish. We sat by the restrooms as it was available and everyone could use a stop before we continued. It was very buggy and we were constantly swatting away flies. My wife did not feel well the next day and ended up going to the emergency room and diagnosed with infective colitis normally caused by e coli or salmonella. I can't prove it's related but it will be in my head.

From out of town and upon entry there was 3 customers including me, we were glanced at by the cashier, and she proceeded to go to the back to talk about “the Simpsons?” With her crew? she had a weird attitude and gave side eye. Not to mention there was flys and gnats everywhere!!! Dining room was clean but with just a glance to the kitchen you could tell how filthy it was. Let’s do better guys.

Im a truck driver and on Nov 27 2024 i stopped to grab food after a long day of work. I ordered a Quarter Pounder and they served me this NASTY STUFF😡 it was burnt, dry, and hard this is not even a quarter pounder meat, it looks like they grabbed a regular small patty meat and flatten it to make it bigger. I Want A Refund😤😤😤
