Pastissimo Tlaquepaque Reviews
This was the best meal we had in Tlaquepaque and one of the best I’ve ever had. The service of wonderful and the ambiance of beautiful! The sea bass dish was amazing. Lots of great flavors and textures. And the veggie risotto was exceptional. So were the cocktails! The manager brought the sous chef out, a talented young woman who was wonderful! We can’t wait to go back.
Incredible food, incredible service. Call so they let you in- they don’t have a door to the restaurant, only to the hotel, which keeps things very intimate.
Waw! This place was over the top. The staff was super friendly, the vibe excellent and the food divine. We ordered a veggie pizza, guacamole and the warm ensalada with mushrooms, as well as two cocktails. We enjoyed everything. The. Price is also very honest. I can only recommend the best restaurant I've found in tlaquepaque !!
Our party had a variety of the foods from the menu. From Legoland to lasagna. It was very tasty and well prepared and presented. This was my first time here but two of our party had eaten here in the past. I highly recommend it and if you're not going pretty early you should make a reservation. The restaurant is in Tlaquepaque The art district of Guadalajara.
My Wife and I have lived in Mexico for almost three years and this was our best meal in that time. The TlaquePasta Restaurant is about a block away from the heart of Tlaquepaque. You must enter thru the Quinto Don Louis Hotel front door and you must be buzzed in via an intercom via the front desk. This may be why the dining room was not very full. The food is great and it is not the standard Mexican fare. My wife had a lovely Greens and Berries and baked Parmesan cheese salad followed by a delicious Chicken Marsala Pasta. I had a Salmon carpaccio served with a citrus dressing with fresh nuts and grapefruit. My main course was a Rack of Lamb served flambé by our delightful waiter Rafael. The "Drunkard's cake" for dessert was also flambe and a most generous serving. The dining room is lovely and with unusual art prominently displayed. Total bill 1200 pesos ...about 70 dollars including wine! Take the trouble to find and access this restaurant, you won't regret it!
It’s not often I take the time out of my busy day to sit down and write a review… however so, today I was pleasantly surprised. After only coming across Hispanic food, TlaquePasta stood out. We journeyed over and we’re attended to immediately. With the best and consistent service, Carlos our server, made sure we had everything we wanted our more. With garden like exteriors that felt movie-like. Best restaurant we ate at yet.
Amazing service and food! Absolutely made us feel at home and treated us like family. Must stop if you’re in the area and crave comfort food in a familiar atmosphere. The chef even came out to chat with us when we were beyond satisfied- top notch!
We discovered TlaquePasta on our last night in town. We were sorry we didn’t discover it sooner. The venue is stunning. The food is exceptional as is the service. We enjoyed being serenaded by a lovely lady (didn’t catch her name) - not too loud, just quietly adding to our beautiful experience. We unfortunately had had large lunches and didn’t have big appetites but we enjoyed the various salads and soups. Oh my! Soooo good! The vino blanco was delicious. We highly recommend this place. Thank you Ivan and chef Arturo and team! We look forward to seeing you again.
We were a party of 17 friends and we love it, Meals were really delicious, thanks to the chef Gore, the service incredible, thanks to Ivan, Charly, and Carlos, the place as always beautiful, relaxing drinks, the desserts were unique!!! Arturo thanks a lot we really enjoy it!!!
Very nice and classy restaurant in the heart of Tlaquepaque, a beautiful little city in Jalisco near Guadalajara’s airport. About 20 minutes by Taxi makes it worth staying in this city over GDL if you want something more quiet. TlaquePasta is my go-to spot for a guaranteed good meal for an amazing price.
Beautiful and secluded. Kind of hidden gem in the heart of Tlaquepaque. It's part of the hotel next door. Very intimate, romantic type feel. We went earlier in the evening and there was no entertainment but we were told by the manager Aaron that there was music every night. We felt very welcome and the food was good. Maybe a little more pricey than some other offerings in the area but the exclusive feel and quiet setting was very nice. Will definitely go back.
I like this place so much!! Live music is a big surprise and romantic. The singer has an excellent vocal and give me a memorable night. I have to say that it's the best restaurant in Tlaquepaque. I have tried Mexican Fillet and Fetuccini Alfredo with chicken, and both dishes are great. I don't speak Spanish but the staffs are friendly and helpful.
Great ambience. As a vegan, I appreciated the effort that our waiter put in to finding something that would work for me. I finally settled on the mushroom salad which was excellent for a light dinner. Raphael was very apologetic that there were so few vegan choices and he promised to try to get more options in the future. Highly appreciated.
Despite having to knock on the front door to be let in after the advertised 5 pm opening time, the restaurant was completely empty which seemed a little strange. We ordered a margarita pizza and fettachini alfredo. And a Sandria. The pizza crust was cooked fine on the edges but under cooked and semi-raw towards the center, and the pizza contained little or no red sauce, a necessary ingredient for a cheese and tomato pizza. The fettuccine came swimming in a soup of thin cheese sauce, and not the thick creamy sauce I expected. The Sangria was little more than dilluted red wine poured over ice. Sangria can be so much more. Lastly, the actual prices charged were about ten percent higher than shown on the internet menu. The wait staff were very good and attentive.
The food is good but it looks better than it tastes, there are mosquitoes that didn't let me enjoy the time as I wanted. The best: Waiters, fast and excellent service The worst: The receptionist, who told me that they might not have tables available when the place was almost empty. Made me feel discriminated for go alone or how I looked like
