Beach Hut Torrance Reviews
Absolutely Outstanding! From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly set the tone for a wonderful experience. The food was incredible—fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. Every bite exceeded my expectations, and you can tell real care and passion go into every dish. It’s rare to find a place that nails both service and quality this perfectly. I will absolutely be back, and I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for delicious food paired with exceptional hospitality, this is the spot!
One of my favorite restaurants in LA. Love the selection on the menu. Friendly service. Low key vibe. You come here for the food, as there are no views to speak of. Easy to park. I often go to the Korean market or thrift store after my breakfast (both are right next door)
I've seen ads for this place in monthly mailers and never went. Now I kick myself for not coming here sooner. My wife and I truly enjoyed the food. I had #12a, spicy sausage (I think called a Pocho sausage) and egg scramble with rice and sweet bread (lightly toasted). A nice portioned meal. We'll definitely be returning. We returned for breakfast again and I was thinking sweet and salty. So I ordered the sweet bread French toast combo with scrambled eggs and Spam. I love Spam.
Excellent taste, made my wife and mother-in-law happy. The loco moco really hit the spot.
Food is wonderful, staff is always friendly, and the prices are great for the area. Our new go to breakfast spot for sure!
I love this place..the food is delicious and served fresh.. the service is always so friendly. I've never been disappointed here. Thank you Beach Hut! (My favorite is the teriyaki breakfast)
First visit to The Beach Hut #2 yesterday and it was so good! My husband said it was the best breakfast sandwich he had ever had. I had pancakes, eggs and bacon and it was delicious as well! Generous on their portions, a great atmosphere, and the nicest people work there. The prices were very fair and we skipped lunch because we were full all day. We will for sure be going back for more at The Beach Hut#2! Located in same shopping center as Sprouts and Michaels. They are located at 4322 Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance. For breakfast, brunch, and lunch, they are open from 7:30am to 3:00pm daily. Great place to eat or take on the go. The Beach Hut #2 deserves 5 stars from us!
Great food! Great company! #17 the Shogun is absolutely timeLess carrying the🔥🔥 for over 20 years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Been about a year since the last time I swung by. Always loved the spot delicious food and great service.

Tasty breakfast, friendly staff, no wait.
Hawaiian specialties like bento box, Spam, Kings Hawaiian bread and steamed rice. Family friendly . Traditional breskfasts too.
Been a customer of The Beach Hut since I was in 5th grade. This was when they were owned by Ron and located in Hermosa Beach. I'm 46 now and The Beach Hut still has that same great taste. 2 scoops of rice, some hash, 2 eggs, and a slice of Hawiian Sweet Bread (Surfer Special) with a side of Mac salad and a P.O.G is my go to. You can't go wrong if you're looking for killer grinds. So, go Check em out!
I think the customer service was probably the best part about this experience every time we ask for another thing they accepted food wasn't the best. But was pretty good. The atmosphere it was a nice cheery atmosphere
A taste from my teenage years as a surfer in the South Bay. They used to have a spot in Hermosa Beach and El Porto. Same taste, hasn't changed in years. A+++
I live by South high in Torrance and love riding my bike over in the morning to have breakfast here. One of my favorites is the breakfast sandwich because it has raw onions on it but they are not necessary. All their food is fresh and they have Hawaiian themed dishes as well. You can order lunch all day long also.
We were so stoked to find out Beach Hut still existed when we moved back to the area! Still the same menu as 20 years ago and still amazing Hawaiian comfort food. Great friendly staff in a much easier location to park then back in the day in Hermosa. We will be back many many more times!

I was so disappointed by their breakfast burrito, but I’m giving 4 stars to not ruin their rating. It was pretty small to be $15 and the hash browns were totally undercooked. Not crispy at all. The cheese was super processed shredded cheese out of a bag and was very scant. If I went back, definitely wouldn’t order that again.
I had the chicken terriyaki plate. Good sized portions, mac salad was good. Chicken was a little gamey and sauce was too sweet for my taste but still good. Fast and friendly service. Very clean and organized.
12a on the menu was good. I custom ordered mine with extras and was kind of expensive, but it was good.

Today we visited The Beach Hut Local Grill for somw Hawaiian food. Upon entering the staff warmly greeted us. The enterior was clean looking which is always a plus. We ordered #9 The surfer Special. It came with homemade hash with corned beef, two eggs and Hawaiian sweet bread. Our second order was plate #f. It came with soicy teriyaki chicken macaroni salad and a plain wanton. On the side we ordered one masubi. Our order took approximately 10 minutes. We then went to the beach to enjoy our food. As I opened my container,#9 I had two eggs over easy and two scoops of rice and patato hash. As for the corned beef there was non, the biggest piece was not even a 1/4 inch in length all together maybe six tiny tiny specs. As for my wife plate, she had F plate. It came with macaroni and salad, spicy chicken and a plain wanton. The chicken was properly seasoned and thoroughly cooked, along two scoops of rice and macaroni and salad. The mac and salad was bland. The salad was ceispy and had a good amount of dressing on it. The masubi was ordered as a side It okay. Overall this restaurant was okay. But very disappointed with plate #9.
