Board & Brew Torrance is my go-to spot, and the Left Coast Pastrami sandwich is absolutely my favorite—it's the one I keep coming back for! Hot pastrami with melted Swiss cheese, grilled onions, banana peppers, Dijon mustard, and that perfect char on the bread. This time I switched out the usual toasted French baguette for sourdough, and wow—what a game-changer. The sourdough adds this tangy, chewy crust that crisps up beautifully and balances the rich, juicy pastrami and gooey cheese even better. It held up great to all the fillings without getting soggy, and the extra tang cut through the savoriness perfectly. Highly recommend asking for the switch if you're a sourdough fan! The staff is always super friendly—quick, welcoming, and happy to customize. The craft beers on tap are a great lineup too; nothing beats pairing this sandwich with a cold one for the full laid-back vibe. Fresh ingredients, solid portions, and great value in Village Del Amo. If you're craving a killer pastrami fix, this place delivers every time!

Growing up in San Diego, where Board & Brew is from I must’ve had it countless times growing up. In fact, my high school was just down the street from the Del Mar location, which was the very first location, and I would have that at least once a week during senior year of high school. I still love it just as much today and the flavors are honestly the same today as they were back then which is so refreshing and what makes B&B special. We stopped in today at this Torrance location, and I can say that the flavors are just as good as all the others, and it really brings back a lot of memories every single time I eat one of these sandwiches. The staff was very polite, our sandwiches were made quickly, and pricing is fair. There is also a ton of free parking right in front and they do have a small bar inside where you can sit and drink and eat as well. They also have indoor tables as well. I would say it’s one of my favorite sandwich places and I think it’s one of the best sandwiches in Los Angeles. I would highly recommend to anyone and I will continue going back. I’ve been a customer for decades and will continue to be.
Board & Brew never disappoints! The sandwiches are simply amazing, packed with high-quality ingredients that you can really taste. We ordered a variety for the office, and everyone was raving about them. The flavors are on point, the bread is always fresh, and the portion sizes are generous. It's clear that they put a lot of care into what they do. We’ll definitely be ordering from Board & Brew again—our new go-to for office lunches!
Food was really good had a couple of sandwiches..the Italian, a pastrami and the chicken Caesar wrap all tasted really good. Pastrami was good just too little pastrami in my sandwich, the wrap and the Italian well stacked.. potato salad was very delicious.

Came down on a whim on a double date, for a healthier alternative with food. Quickly was impressed with the atmosphere, friendly service, quality of food and beers. to top it off good pricing for quality during hard times. Thanks! I'll be showing up more often!

Not your typical strip mall sandwich place. Service is great. Sandwiches are awesome. Haven't had one sub par sandwhich at all. It's my perfect match great sandwhich (not skimping on portion size) and great craft beer, by brewery X and other local breweries.
Please don’t let the rating fool you. This place is FIRE! I was in the area looking for something new to try, stumbled upon Board & Brew and it was easily the best decision I’ve made this year. I ordered the ‘Baja Beef’ sandwich from the ‘From the Grill’ menu and boy did it not disappoint! Bread toasted to perfection, meat, cheese, grilled onions and jalapeño add the most flavorful combination to make this sandwich an easy 20/10! Do yourself the favor and try it out for yourself, you’ll be glad you did!

I had the veggie sandwich. It was one of the best veggie sandwiches that I have eaten. The service was great: personable, friendly, and thoughtful. Will definitely return again!
Me and my husband shared our favorite sandwich, Left Coast Pastrami and a bag of Maui onion chips, today. We agree that this sandwich shop is better than Togos, Subway and Jersey Mikes. We will definitely keep coming back and encourage others to try it out - you won't be sorry!
Great sandwich shop and not overpriced. Good portions. Excellent quality. My new go to place for roast beef dip sandwiches. They have an excellent potato salad. Hope they're going to add macaroni salad in the near future. Wish they had fries or mashed potatoes also. Nice selection of vegetarian options as well. They close at 8:00 Sun-Thurs. 8:30 Fri. and Sat. Hoping they will extend their hours on Fridays and Saturdays especially during the summer to at least 9.

I tried the Tuna on wheat, and it was packed with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. The bread was good, and the balance of the fillings was just right. The service was friendly and efficient, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The staff are young! The ambiance of the place is cozy and inviting, perfect for a quick lunch or a casual meal with friends. They also have a good variety of options on the menu, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. While everything was great, I felt that the prices were a bit on the higher side for aa sandwich place. However, the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worth it. I highly recommend Board and Brew to anyone in Torrance looking for a tasty and satisfying sandwich. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their offerings! 4 out of 5 stars!
Great place for quality, affordable sandwiches with exceptional service. I ordered the chicken club sandwich, and you could tell that the bread it was on was made in-house. The sauce they had was absolutely delicious, and when I asked what it was, they said it was their secret sauce. Highly recommend adding that sauce to your sando. The chicken sandwich itself was pretty average. The chicken was not juicy and was quite thin. If you came hungry like I did, I recommend getting a different sandwich. Other than that, this is a decent place to get a sandwich.
Food was good and reasonably priced service was very friendly and the vibe there was cool a few big screen TVs with Sports on We tried their pastrami sandwich and tuna sandwich And the blue razz, beer, sweet and delicious

This place would be 5 stars for me if they didn’t have THE WORST paper bags for carry out ever. These guys will load 3 sandwiches into a bag that should only hold 1 and today the bag ripped open and spilled when I got home yet again. Please improve your bag game board and brew.

I love board and brew. I eat at board and brew all the time. I always order extra chicken. I usually don’t go to this board and brew but I did today. They didn’t really give me much extra chicken. I ordered another one to take home and it literally had no extra chicken. Just the usual two chicken pieces that would come normally without extra charge. Pissed me off. Why charge extra if you aren’t going to give extra. Never going to this board and brew again.
I been going to these place for about 6 months and every time I go I get great customer service until today 11/29/2024 around 7:00pm I went my my mother . we were giving horrible customer service. We waited for our food for more than 30 mins while the workers were having a blast by the bar taking pictures and being very unprofessional . while our food was just sitting in the counter. I notice 4 officers coming in and the same young lady that took my order gave them good customer service . yet we still haven't received our food . I notice that one of the officers received his food less than 15 mins . That's when I got up and asked what was our status of our food . The coworkers had lost the food ticket and we didn't even received our receipt For the purchase of our food . There was a young man in the counter that he commented " o wow you guys were waiting for food I thought you ladies were just hanging out " at that point I was very upset but I never treated the workers rude all I said can I please have the status on my food . That's when I seen that our order was just sitting in the counter. The ladies still had the audacity to say have a good night after I told them why was their no communication or why did we wait for our food for more than 30 mins . I had no words and I was hella embarrassed I took that as they were making fun of me and they probably thought I wasn’t going to speak up . The restaurant Wasn't even busy for them to not notice we been waiting for our food . Maybe was the fact that I was not in my government uniform or the fact that we were 2 Latina woman . I never been treated like I was treated in that restaurant and I was so embarrassed cause it was my first time taking my mother trying to distract her from her brother passing away . I did call the restaurant when I got in my car cause I felt so embarrassed saying something there . I knew that how I was being treated wasn’t correct or the fact that they seem so careless. The worker automatically Knew they were at wrong and told me sorry but unfortunately at that time the store manager wasn't there so they took my information down and I just hope the manager gives me a call cause that was very rude and I truly didn't appreciate how I was treated. I look forward on speaking to the manager . I don't even want my money back the sandwich there are very delicious and it won’t be my last time going I will want the manager to just remind his/her employees that what happened today could've been avoided . I understand a job can be fun but the way these ladies were acting in the bar and taking pictures while my and my mothers food was just literally sitting in the counter and while we were waiting we were just watching how their behavior was. We order two chicken Baja one with no jalapenos. Their excuse was they couldn’t find the ticket order and had no idea that the sandwich that was sitting in the counters was our food . Once we got home our bread was very soggy that we had no option but to replace the bread we had at home.
