Bar Andaluz Torremolinos Reviews
Ayer mismo me llevaron. Prometo repetir.
This is my favorite place for fried fish!!! Everything is delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend the prawns in garlic and olive oil, the fried fish, and the grilled hake, although EVERYTHING is amazing. All the staff are very friendly and attentive, especially Raúl, who is always very attentive and kind to us; you can tell he loves his job! We'll be back many more times!!! 😊
Everything was fantastic. We've been here a couple of days and have visited 4 or 5 other places, and nothing compares to this one. The food was plentiful, the prices were good, and the quality was excellent. We recommend the calamari, the gazpacho, and the prawns in pil-pil sauce. We also want to highlight the excellent service and the great atmosphere. We've included some photos of the food. We'll definitely be back!
Great place for fried fish. Some of the best authentic Malaga-style fried fish in Torremolinos. Excellent service. Good value for money.
A spectacular place. A traditional establishment with a traditional atmosphere. The food is a true spectacle, abundant, high-quality, and well-prepared. The service is also impressive. 100% recommended; you can tell it's a family restaurant and they make things with love. We recommend the fried food; it's delicious.
A restaurant serving very good, affordable Andalusian food with unparalleled service. Food: The products were fresh, delicious, and of great quality. We had sea bass, calamari, and shrimp pil pil. Everything was phenomenal! Service: Estefanía's service was unparalleled. She was very respectful, friendly, and very professional. She gave us recommendations because we asked for them and didn't try to sell us what she wanted. We were delighted with her service. The place is family-run (run by her and her father). Atmosphere: The terrace is very nice. Inside, it's a neighborhood spot (if you're looking for a nice or fancy restaurant, this probably isn't the place for you). In short... If you don't pay much attention to luxury, but want delicious, quality, fresh food with very friendly service, this restaurant is 100% recommended.
We went there by chance, because the whole family wanted fried fish for dinner, and we loved it. Very affordable prices and excellent value for money; the portions are generous. You can't go here without ordering the Malaga-style fried fish. The only downside is that they don't accept cards. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.
Best sea food we tasted in Malaga. There were other high end restaurants in that area who were "too busy" to even cook something for kids. Bar Anadaluz hosts were so friendly and were able to explain that kids would like croquettes. Mussels, Boquerones Fritos, Gambas Pil-Pil all were very fresh and tasty. End of the day the food should be served with love and we could feel it here. Highly recommend!
I'm usually the only Brit, old style bar, love the gamba pil pil
Bar familiar, solo pedimos una fritura para 2 y estaba todo muy fresco y bien frito. La hija de los dueños que es la camarera muy simpático a y te asegura que lo que el padre no ve fresco no lo compra!!! Volveré para seguir probando... 😊
A recommended place to eat fried fish, old-fashioned food without frills or artifice, but good old-fashioned food.
Passed this place every day for years and never tried it, just looked like a typical Spanish bar and the place next door is always full so made this one look bad After two recent recommendations we tried tonight. Fish was fresh and well prepared. Service was good at the start but waitress rushed us out at the end abruptly. It was very hot and I understand it was near closing time but when you've got a couple of tables finishing drinks you need to exercise more patience, we just felt it spoiled the night and probably won't go back.
The place is well located, the food is delicious but they have no organization or schedule, one day they close at 4:30 pm, another at 3:20 pm the kitchen is already closed, so whoever goes should take the time into account, if you sit down you will love the food and the fish is very fresh.
I'm giving it 2 stars because although the food was good, the calamari was a little tough, and the service was also very good. When it came time to pay, they charged us a euro and a bit for cutlery on the ticket; it seems we should have eaten with our hands. They want to impose the system used in other countries, which isn't legal here at the moment. We were going to leave a 2-euro tip, so we left without leaving anything. They've already imposed it on themselves. We won't be back; it'll be for the restaurants...
I was standing alone at an empty table looking at the menu. When I wanted to sit down, the waiter said the table was reserved, which wasn't the case (no sign). Then he called four people over and said, "Well, four people." I understand it from a business perspective, but this was rude.
