Barista's Tracy Reviews
It's a great local coffee shop. Barista's is cheaper than Starbucks and doesn't charge tax on top of its posted price. The menu features hot coffee, blended cold coffee, build your own smoothies, teas, build your own "sodas", and a range of breakfast and some lunch food. It's definitely a good place for a quick drink or even for a study session. The service is relatively fast and efficient.
Great place to sit and enjoy a tasty cup of coffee. Large selection of coffee, tea, smoothies and pastries. Lots of sugar-free flavored coffee options, just ask. Friendly staff that always smiles and makes you feel welcome. Very clean and tidy inside; check the front windows, they're spotless (yeah, I'm weird, I notice these things). Recent change in ownership has been seemless, the consistency and quality remains, no worries.
Back again to our favorite coffee shop in Tracy, CA — I grew up getting drinks here and ever since I brought him the first time three years ago, we have to stop when we’re back in town. We get the gourmet hot chocolates when we’re here together, but I love their mochas and mocha chai. Their pastries are so good too. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, and it’s a great slice of life in downtown tracy.
Always busy. Welcoming vibe by the staff. Very good coffee drinks and food. Tracy is blessed to still have a non-corporate coffee house of this caliber. Note to customers....it's basic Courtesy 101 to say "excuse me" when cutting through the line to get cream or napkins or in general getting well within one's personal space.
Way more intimate than any Starbucks you will ever go to! I've been going here since high school and now every time I go when I'm on vacation, it is the same intimate environment, decently priced drinks with lots of flavor. I would recommend it if you are in the down town area and want to support a local business and get a delicious drink in return!
My favorite place downtown Tracy. I've lived here for 5 years and nothing has come close to matching the quality of service, drinks, and food served here. The staff is always super friendly. They have the BEST coffee hands down. They serve delicious pastries, paninis, and other foods. The place is always packed (out the door sometimes) and it's for good reason. Do yourself a favor, make your life better by visiting Barista's!
My favorite coffee shop south of Santa Rosa! The espresso drinks are amazing. The brewed coffee is great. The cold brew is excellent, you can drink it plain like iced tea. There are an unlimited number of choices, and the staff are super friendly! They all know my name and usual drink.
I wish I could find someplace that could do a blended snickers bar mocha like they do it here. Or maybe I don't, because I'd get them all the time and spend too much money! But seriously, their service is great. Quick whether you order in person or ahead. Miss getting to sit and visit while sipping my mocha. Starbucks and even Dutch Brothers cant touch Baristas!
Wanted to get a quick coffee in the middle of Tracy and Barista's was the closest. Barista's is a great coffee shop. From pastries to smoothies. Can't go wrong with the white mocha, so ended up with an iced white mocha. If your in the area and want something different than your mainstream coffee, Barista's is the place. No drive thru but worth the stop.
My mornings are fast-paced with very little time to spare from Jan-April. My husband's favorite way to start the workday is with a blended skinny dip from Baristas. I love that they're on the Clover App so I can order before I leave the house and quickly pick up on my way to work. Their Chai Lattes are my favorite and I like to treat myself to one of those too once in a while. Grateful that the staff is always so kind and friendly and always has our drinks ready to go :)
They’re simply the best! Yes they’re always busy and there’s almost always a line, but that’s because their coffee/breakfast is great. I stop by about twice a week. Every week. You can also order online which is such a huge help on the weekends! Give them a try you won’t be dissatisfied.
The wait for coffee is rather long compared to the big name coffee houses but a mom and pop store should be kept in business. Still go here whenever I can. The dark chocolate mocha is so good! I wrote this review a while ago and I stand behind it still.
I had the pleasure to get my drinks for over 5 years and the service was always amazing. I unfortunately I had to move to SF, but so far I have not been able to to find a cafe close to Barita's. Both the owner and manager were so kind and memorized by heart. If you are ever in Tracy, I recommend you going here.
Really cute place! Coffee is always so good and the staff are so sweet! I love their new drinks and the food is always really tasty. It's hard to pick what to try. It can be a little loud when busy, but making coffee is loud so I get it. Can't wait to sit outside now it's warmer out!
Fast service, great choices in food pairing with coffees. I am a hot coffee drinker so it was nice to be able to drink a fancy drink that didn’t have to be ordered iced.
This is without a doubt my favorite coffee spot. It's a small, but comfy environment surrounded by friendly people. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had, but if you're not in the mood for coffee, they still have plenty of specialty drinks to choose from. There's also a variety of foods you can get that are perfect for a quick breakfast. The service is great, and I can't say I've ever been dissatisfied whenever I visit.
I'm not a coffee drinker at all, but my boyfriend made me at least try while we were vacationing since he loves it and I was amazed! I loved all the flavors I tried which included interesting ones I never heard of before. I ended up getting a berry vanilla blended drink EVERY DAY. Great employees, great drinks, and being walking distance from me and a few nice shops was fantastic!
The quality of Baristas drinks are so good. I used to come here every Friday morning with my son to study for any tests that he had before school. Then the pandemic came and we stopped. Well, we’re back at it again and still just as good as it was before. Love the local coffee shop and the vibe. Great people too.
Coffee is rich and aromatic. All pastries, and especially the sandwiches, are delicious. The best though? THE SMOOTHIES!!! Less expensive than Starbucks, too!
While on the hunt for locally owned businesses (especially ones that don’t support the Israeli occupation with what’s been going on), I happened to find a coffee shop that has been LOVED by locals here in the Valley. Barista’s is located in the heart of Downtown Tracy — their pastries are top-tier and delicious, and their mochas are quite the recipe! I happened to get their Hawaiian Banana Nut White Mocha, which is one of their pretty good drinks 🥳 Overall service was REALLY quick, and they were generous enough to give me the wi-fi password… I’d definitely come here more often for sure ☺️ Oh and if you want to follow more foodie adventures… my IG is @austinthefoodie ☺️
Cozy cozy cozy! Arrived at about lunch hour and it was pretty busy, but it wasn’t much of a wait! The girl taking my order was pretty chill and friendly. Honestly, it was all very seamless. I ordered the meat lover’s panini, the toasted almond blended drink, as well as a cheese danish. All were very delicious. This shop is about the cutest little place I’ve seen. And I’m sure the crowd serves as a testament to their goods as well as their service. I will be coming back!
The staff are always kind and friendly, this exceptional service creates an environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated, making each visit a delightful experience. The decor is super charming, there’s comfortable seating areas scattered throughout, perfect to sit and read or have a conversations with a friend. The pastries and sandwiches are crafted to perfection. Items on the menu are kid friendly and can be customize. My kids love the smoothies & pastries! This place is more than a coffee shop; it's a haven where every visit feels like a little treat.
Had late morning coffee and bagels. I ordered the Iced Cafe Barista, a Latte and two Barsita Bagels [Cream cheese, cucumber, tomato, salt and pepper. Food and drinks were quality and the service was good. It was very nice inside and the crowd was very chill.

This is a very good coffee shop I've been coming here for the past 15 years.friendly and clean place. Best coffee and tea.
I really enjoy the coffee from here. In town there are only a few places with affordable prices as far as non-chain coffee places go. I recommend the Iced Sicilian, the chai, or even bagels if you are in the mood for something savory. They keep things good, simple, affordable, and consistent.
Best place to get coffee and sandwich, great place to hang out with friends.highly recommended.
First time in a Tracy coffee shop. The service was super fast. The prices were fairly priced. My coffee I ordered was done well. The environment seemed energetic mainly due to all the coffee;) I can see my self going back for some good ole fashioned cup o Joe….
Such a cute coffee shop. When I went for the first time, I got what the baristas recommended - and was so impressed! The coffee is really good, priced well, and the staff is super friendly.
I ordered a special for St Patrick’s Day. It was so so good. I wish I remembered what was in it. Was passing through town I know it had Irish cream and was a black and white. Hoping someone will tell me the ingredients
Barista's provides a huge selection of various coffees and teas. They also serve sandwiches. The workers and owner make you feel welcomed and remembered. Highly recommend. PS: The black iced tea with tropical power shots is fantastic!
So, my hairdresser told us a great place for lunch called Barista’s in Tracy, CA. We go there and I order the Veggie Panini with a Butter Pecan White Chocolate Mocha coffee, and my hubby orders the Meat lover’s Panini and we take it home and it is Delicious!!! 😋🤤 And the coffee was Off the charts Yummy!!! 😋 Beautiful sandwich and coffee and the employees there were very friendly and welcoming!! DEFINITELY happy to go there!! ❤️❤️❤️🌻🌼😎

In the area where you pick up the drinks there are always some men who seem to be dedicated to making deliveries who are at the bar using their phone, eating, scratching their heads almost on top of the deliveries. and the drinks and food of those of us who are waiting. I find it very unpleasant and also unhygienic. They should eat and wait for their drinks away from the delivery bar.
Great coffee. Excellent service. I just wish they had a hood. When I was there. It got really Smokey inside. So I had to sit outside.
Probably the most popular coffee shop in downtown Tracy. After being closed for a while, it finally reopened a few weeks ago! My co-workers all love the cold drinks here. I've only tried the hot Latte, it was good but not exceptional. Tip: *Super busy on Saturday mornings while the Farmer's Market is going on. If you don't want to wait outside the shop, call ahead to order your drink.
Great place for coffee best quality in Tracy - Best cappuccino in Tracy. Great staff they remember you and your order, very nice owner. I would love to give them 5 stars but the hours of operation and the time it takes to get a drink take it down a star. They should be open 16 hours a day 7 days a week. 5AM - 10PM. It can take 20-30 minutes to get a drink order because they take they do the orders as they get them so 10 pick up orders might get made before they start your drink. I think if they could break the production line into in store and pick up they could fix this issue. I would love to go here all the time but some times I can't afford the time as it is farther away from my house. Starbucks also has better hours they open at 4 AM, are open 7 days a week, and for later into the night.
Friendly service, affordable prices. Only wished that their hot espresso based drinks were stronger, too much milk.
Love this place n the workers, so friendly! Only thing is it could use some dusting on the fans n light fixtures! Clean restroom too!
Love this coffee house. The drinks are good and the food is delicious, esp their breakfast sandwiches. I just do not like the dust that is everywhere, you could see the TV, lamps, and fans are covered in thick layers of dust.
Always delicious. Service is amazing. UPDATE: I now get diarrhea every time I drink something from here. I thought it was the milk, so I paid $0.85 more for almond milk. Still having the same response. Will try without caffeine to test if that is the issue. All in all, concerning.

I used to frequent Baristas for lunch all the time, and it was amazing. But the last few times have been disappointing. I normally get the spicy panini, but recently its just been blah. There's literally only been 1 piece of thin sliced turkey on the sandwhich, to which I can't even taste it over the bread and sriracha.
Great place for coffee, tho I feel like their pastries/ breakfast foods (at least the ones I've had) could use a little work. Staff is always friendly and fast, which is great because the line is almost always long. Worth the wait tho and much better coffee than some of the more popular chains. Edit: Lost a star for me. I really do love the coffee here, but I feel like the wait is just too long. We waited a solid 20 minutes for 2 coffees and there wasn't a big crowd. I think they are probably giving priority to mobile orders, which is the new normal for many places. I suppose that I could've ordered ahead but I didn't as it was spur of the moment. So, it's still a great coffee shop as long as you order ahead or have significant time to wait.
We're visiting from out of town and came by for coffee on a Saturday morning. At first we were encouraged by the long line figuring "go where to the locals favorite". Unfortunately, the long line wasn't so much because there were a bunch of customers, but because they process orders at a glacial pace. Long slow line to get to the register and order. Then a long wait in a very cramped crowded noisy hallway next to the pick-up-here bar. The local people here were friendly at least. Lots of smiles and nods along with all the polite "excuse me"s as people shuffled by looking for some space to stand and wait for their drinks. Eventually we did get our lattes and settled for the only available seating being in our car. I wish I could say it was worth the wait but... it was okay. Maybe a little better than a standard Starbucks latte. But about that quality. If you look at their menu board there are 3 or 4 dozen options for how they can "pollute" their coffee drinks with large quantities of sugar. And to be fair, if you're in the mood for a sugary treat, they have a bunch of different flavored mochas and frothy coffee themed liquid desserts. But if you're looking for just a pour over or latte or cappuccino.... meh. While visiting Tracy we also got to try out the nearby "Central Coffee Co.". If you're serious about good coffee, go there instead.

Ordered a cappuccino, a vanilla latte, and straight up.. latte overfilled keeps dripping with the lid on.. latte water down flavor cappuccino is too milky. Don't know what the hype is.. but maybe it was better long ago.. ohh tables I switched twice what's more annoying than having coffee is a titter-tattering table had to put a coffee sleeve to manage it.. ruined it. Ambience-1 star why all the chairs lined up on the wall. Lol!! Too many people behind the counter and 3 orders after us got their orders first. First and last.

Sad to give this review; Gave 2 stars because the girls are so sweet. It seems as of late the quality of drinks is very inconsistent & poor quality. I really want to support local businesses however, paying $6 for cream coffee instead of coffee with cream when I am paying for xtra shots is just not in my budget. When I asked if the additional shots I had paid for were added( they had forgotten them before) the barista stated they were all in there, shrugged his shoulder's and offered zero solutions and walked away. Today was the first time after several of the same issues I was frustrated & disappointed enough to ask for a refund.

Looks like I'm not the only one saying what I'm about to say. Drinks are watered down/taste only like syrup. Couldn't taste any espresso in either of the drinks we got. Neither one of us drank our lattes because they tasted like watered down fake sugar syrup. The raspberry flavor does not taste like raspberry. Who knows what chemicals that are terrible for your body are in these syrups. They carry so many flavors, I'm guessing they are probably all immitation/fake ingredients.
Ever since this coffee shop has been under new ownership, the drinks (blended drinks/iced lattes) that I order at times taste watered down or seem like they are missing flavors/ingredients. I have had to remind them several times to fix the drink and remake it. This used to be my favorite coffee shop, but I do not feel like coming here anymore. Seems like they are just trying to save money. Also, from my experience the prices vary/increase depending on who takes the order. I feel the drinks aren’t always consistent on flavorings, sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not.
Watered down Americano and the girl that took the order wasn't pleasant. Do better if you want black customers, but then again maybe they don't want that.
