The service is excellent, the food amazing! They always have a lot of variety, excellent price. I JUST LOVE IT!
I’m so happy to finally have a place to eat that’s like back at home. Delicious food, huge portions, and at a great price. The beef stew I had was awesome. ¡Buen Provecho!
I door dash here and I have not tried thier food but it smells AMAZING. I SURE WILL EVENTUALLY. the staff is so polite and fast. The only issue is parking
Absolutely delicious! The food reminds me of home and my grandmother’s cooking. Thank you the amazing food and wonderful service! Gracias por que ahora si es verdad que no voy a cocinar! 😂❤️
Love this place I've been eating here from day 1😋 and every time it's a great experience. I love the owner she has a heart of gold the customer service in this place is awesome and it's always clean !!
Great and wonderful place, the food and the people there are fantastic and there is a variety of different plates to select from, I go here almost every day, thank you Mi Casa keep up the great work
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mi Casa!! Not only is the food absolutely phenomenal, but the staff are super friendly and attentive to each person that walks through the door. I recommend Mi Casa to everyone!
Good Dominican and latin food. The owner, cooks and servers were great. Saturdays ask for Sancocho with white rice and parcha (passion fruit) juice.
Great little place for Latin food. Super clean and friendly. Food is LOADED with taste and also a great bargain. Definitely going to stop back again
Such good food, huge portions, great prices! Woman owned and operated business - so happy to support! <3
Great food! Stew chicken, plantains, rice and beans and more. All nicely prepared. Friendly and helpful staff.
I honestly have no complaints! The food is always so delicious and the owner (as well as everyone else) is friendly.
Very good authentic food. Always greated nicely and portions are a nice size...will keep coming back.
Best Latin American food in the area!! Friendly staff, always willing to accommodate
Absolutely fantastic food! For 12.00 we had enough for 3 people!! Stew pork fantastic!!!
Best Spanish food in the distric area ...staff are amazing This place is super clean and they follow precautions... Food is fresh every day Recommended 100%
Good comfort Hispanic food at reasonable prices. I love giving business to locals and when the owners are nice is even better.
Hospitality is awesome, food fresh and good. However some of their delicious entrees have too much salt added. Please lower the salt and the rest is smooth sailing. Kudos to you ladies! Thank you so much for the great customer service you ladies provide...
Love it!!! I'm there like every other day. Great food, great prices, friendly staff. Definitely recommended if you like Spanish food. Eat in or take out is available.
Food here is delicious, probably some of the best in the capital region. I got the stew chicken with rice and peas. There are different sizes, I was going to get the $8 size, but I got the $5.50 box instead. It is more than big enough, there is so much food in it that I was full, and I am a big guy. If you are a south asian food fan, come here instead of the south asian restaurants in town. The flavors are very "desi"( if you know, you know) even though its a dominican restaurant. It is fresh, spiced well and the chicken is bone in, which makes it even more flavorful. Total winner with their hot sauce. Polite service too which is a definite plus. Only thing is that the pricing is a bit vague. They always ask if you want plantains at the end, but it would be nice to know if they cost extra. For a generous portion and a bottle of soda it was $7.56 including tax, go here its a total winner.
Their food 😍 is so delicious! Makes me want to tell them to (TAKE MY MONEY) forever. The employees are awesome 👌 with amazing 👏 personalities. Makes me feel 😌 great 👍.
I have been trying to find a good Sancocho upstate for the longest time now. And I heard about Mi Casa last week via fb friends and checked out the menu- low and behold- they had what I have been craving. I made an order on Grubhub- though the menu was limited due to covid, there were still a ton of options. Immediately after placing my order I got a call that they had sold out of Sancocho for the day. Devastated might be dramatic but it’s true. However, they let me change my order and said they would send the little bit that was left in a small container. - hands down amazing customer service off of that alone. And when the food arrived- I knew this place would be a problem for me. The stew chicken was delicious, the sancocho was perfect, the jerk chicken was nice and spicy. I couldn’t be happier to have found Mi Casa.
One of my favorite places in Troy. Super friendly people and the food is INCREDIBLE. Wonderful flavor and great selection. I could eat here everyday.
Do not skip this place. Parking is easy if you drive around the block. It’s small inside, and take only but this place is the epitome of authentic flavorful Spanish food. The menu is written on a chalk board in English, though You will have to order In Spanish (unless the daughter is there - she speaks English and is really helpful) or you can pull out the google translate app, type in your order, translate it to Spanish and show the employee. It’s so worth it, the food is out of this world. Also check out their other establishment right next door mi casa market! Great addition to the Troy community
We ordered Mi Casa catering for our Black Friday dinner. We didn’t want more turkey and wanted to spice things up. MI Casa did the trick. We asked for a milder style of jerk chicken, rice and plantains for our 11 guests. A reasonable $115 later and we are all stuffed with the spice leaving an enjoyable tingle on our lips. One guest described the jerk chicken as challenging spice but satisfying. An extremely authentic Caribbean meal. We will be ordering again. Also, we picked up at the mi casa market down the street as the owner operates an authentic Latin influenced downtown grocery store there. What a beautiful space for a market. A gem in the city.
Pictured is the small sweet and sour chicken with rice/peas, large jerk chicken with rice/peas, and the empanada! All the food I have tried thus far is amazing and full of flavors you can’t get elsewhere in Troy! The guava empanadas are my favorite! Very filling meals and lovely staff! They are investing in the community which is a plus!
Stew chicken and yellow rice. Amazing place. Service is excellent. Feelings so satisfying when I arrive. Clean as ever. Join me and head over for a small at 5.50 large 7.50 XL 10-11 dollars that's not bad !!!!!!

Gosh, their stew chicken just really hits the spot! Wonderful service! The kind lady who served me added a beautifully large slice of avocado to my order. The meat is so tender it practically falls off the bone. Their homemade strawberry lemonade is the cherry on top. Just wish I could get more than 2 pieces of plantains with my order. Will be back!!
Amazing authentic Hispanic food! Must Have!! So freaking Delicious!! They have a daily menu that changes and an array of flavor packed specialty deserts. The prices are very fair and you can get a filling meal for$5!! Who can beat that! Absolutely Love this Lil place!!
Primarily take out, so no atmosphere to go on. After 2nd visit, I must conclude that they are the real deal. Their Puerto Rican style flavor is on point. I had pepper steak, white rice and beans, then rice with pigeon peas and roast pork on the 2nd visit. Both very tasty. The proprietor is very nice. Try it. You can get a great lunch for about $11.00
Food is always consistently great! I'm Ecuadorian, moved to the capital region three Years ago and this is the ONLY place I will eat hispanic/latino food. Tastes authentic, well seasoned, and they always have pernil!!!! Pernil, rice, and beans is always sooo good too. Great workers, very kind and friendly, clean, and good variety of food. Please support this business! You won't be disappointed.
The food was very good. It is take out only. The service was great. Very fast and friendly. The prices were also very affordable with big portions. I would definitely stop here again.
Perfect home cook feel food. Very flavorful, large portions, good service. Definitely going back again.
It’s been 4 years since I moved away now and I still dream of this place. The owner makes you feel like you’re home and taken care of. I ate at this place every day for weeks during lockdowns and it brought me joy during a time of isolation. Their roast pork is incredible.
We catered from this place for a party of around 65 persons. It was amazing. Food is delicious and very authentic. Had a large order delivered without any problems or mistakes. Delivered by a very professional and helpful person. Service is courteous and on time. The owner confirmed my order the night prior and helped me with extras which made my party a hit. Food was plentiful and my friends took left overs with them and I still have some more for dinner tomorrow. I strongly recommend this place.

The food was mostly good, authentic. A little pricey. The rice and peas tasted a little old and dry like it was left over from the previous day. All in all its worth a try.
Love the food. Great people. Great food. Yellow rice and pepper steak.
Food has always been really good and the portions too but the last two times I went I had an issue. The first time the girl was incredibly rude and gave me an attitude for not wearing a mask (I am vaccinated I didn’t know). My most recent and final time I ordered stew pork and they gave me practically no meat i basically paid $17 for some rice and beans.
We live in North Adams, MA. On our way to the airport we decided to stop for lunch. Never been here but decided to stop as both if us miss true authentic Latino food. We were not disappointed. We ordered ribs, stew chicken and the pernil. The food was amazing and not unreasonably priced. I do wish they had more than 2 seats for dine in but other than that, I will definitely be back.
I’ve ordered from here twice so far. The employees in there are really warm and friendly, and they always greet you when you walk in. I got the pepper steak and yellow rice both times and the meat was really good and tender. My only complaint was that the yellow rice had a burnt taste to it as if the bottom of the rice had gotten burnt, and the taste spread to the rest of the pot. The rice wasn’t visible burnt, but the taste was there. I’d still try their food again though.

I'm curious to know if the cooks have changed.Because the quality in the food is not the same. From when I first started coming to this restaurant I want to remain a customer but the quality of the food needs to be consistent
Not the best location, there’s plenty of homeless outside that you have to watch out for. For what you get it’s way too much money. You ask for rice and they fill it up to 95%. Meat is extra charge but they don’t point it out anywhere. ($14.05)

Good food but tired off going here and them being out of half the food. This is by no means a dinner spot. They cater to the lunch time frame then dinner. 100% chance that if you go there after 3 they won't have atleast 1 item your looking for. Even if it's a side that comes with the meal, if they're out, your still paying for. I've been coming here for well over a year now and they've lost a customer for good. I'd rather drive the 10 minutes to Albany to get a entire Spanish meal.

Delicious the first time I had them. Then the last two times I got empanadas they had BONES in them. Not once did this happen but twice. I Wish it was as good as the first time.
Food has really no flavor, plain taste

Food wasn’t how I expected it be. Everything tasted old. Rice tasted like burnt rice and empanadas tasted like it was sitting there for a day or two. Not good! Do not recommend!
This food was disgusting, the rice was hard beans was cold and the stew chicken wasn't all the way cooked. It ran me right to the bathroom, stomach was upset for 2 days i will never order from here again. i couldn't keep anything down because once i ate this food it ran me right to the bathroom
Not consistent with quality/quantity of food. You can go there in the morning and have a decent meal but later in the day the food is dried out and looks like it’s been sitting for hours. Don’t expect to get the same amount of food for the same buck every time you return. Needs to be on the same page. Edible but had better.
The new location is beautiful. I was a regular customer at your original location since you guys first opened and haven’t been back in awhile due to the fact that I’ve moved pretty far away. Today I got such a craving for some stewed chicken over rice, so naturally I headed down to your shop because you got the BEST and when I went into the new store I was blown away with the expansion. The ladies were so nice, I’ve never seen them before but they were very polite so I trusted them to make me a decent plate without watching - maybe that’s my mistake but I wanted to do some other shopping while in there.. anyways, when I got home I opened my plate to this. Let me begin by saying I do not take pride in bashing a self-made business. In fact I tried just messaging the owner personally but I cannot find her on social media and the Mi Cass business Facebook page does not accept private messages. So this is for Kury- As a fellow mother, also student and health care worker, I’m lucky if I get to eat a real meal once a day, and the small has always been the perfect amount to fill me up. Maybe I’m not remembering correctly, but I recall beautiful chunks of chicken over the rice that I was able to cut up and mix with my rice and the sauce. But this is what I received this evening.. I understand that budgets can be tight, that is the case for most people right now with food prices and inflation. But.. if it’s not possible to deliver the product in a small container anymore then please just take it off of the menu. I would’ve had no problem paying more if I knew it would make the difference between getting the chicken I once knew over rice vs. mostly bones, ligaments, and rice. I was so excited for this, it’s been so long. Now I’m just disappointed. And still hungry with no time to go anywhere else. This made me pretty upset. I’m not sure that I’ll be back.

Ordered through Uber eats the stew chicken was rotten. We couldn’t believe we actually was given rotten food. My BF loves this place and he was very disappointed.
