Unagi Sushi Troy Reviews
i love coming here with friends and family, the workers are so kind and accommodating for our requests, and the food and atmosphere is amazing
I came here for dinner and was blown away by the spicy salmon roll and chicken fried rice. It was delicious. Also recommend the boba it was really good and the boba pearls were cooked perfectly, some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was amazing and very welcoming. Overall great experience at a small family run business. Definitely recommend the sushi it was so good. Also got the shrimp shumai and gyoza. Everything was priced very fairly.
Fresh boba, some of the best I’ve ever had and delicious sushi. Not pricey as well. Staff is very sweet and family owned restaurant. If you’re able to definitely try this place out! There’s not a long wait and the food is really good!
Best sushi in Troy. Great ambiance, service, presentation and variety. Fish was fresh, and having kids chopsticks available made the experience for my kid who always struggles with them. Soft shelled crab got devoured before being able to take a pic lol. So good! Totally restored my faith in being able to get good sushi close to home. ❤️
Expensive but worth it to treat yourself. Had their salmon lovers selection, the fish was fresh and tasted excellent. The milkshake was also surprisingly good, as good as the teas at least when talking to my friends who went as well.
Stopped here on a whim during a drive back to NJ from a weekend of skiing in Vermont. A bit pricey for the portion sizes but great experience overall. The quality of the sushi was excellent! Restaurant is very clean and pretty. Wait staff and sushi chef were extremely friendly and accommodating! A+ meal presentation. I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area again!
The sushi was okay and so was the ramen (though, I usually prefer a spicy miso with a grilled chicken, this one was okay for the price). However; the prices were great. For two people we got a great deal of food for less than $70 during dinner hours. The staff was also very attentive and friendly, which I truly appreciated. We will be visiting again.
Excellent tasting sushi. I think it's the best in the area now. Friendly staff and buzzi NH atmosphere. There is even 2 booths for traditional Japanese floor sitting. You pay a little more but it's worth it. The only thing I did not like is the space is small and makes the bar sitting complicated. Also large parties will have trouble sitting as there are no big tables. Ideal for small parties. If the place figures that out I'd bump it to 5 stars.
The seafood ramen was definitely bad. I was terrified to even eat it since it smelled like rotten fish. The egg was grey as if they just have it sitting all together and don’t make it fresh. I didn’t want to get food poisoning so I refused to try it. I went to take a bite and the smell was so strong it immediately made my stomach curl. The waiter argued that I should have tried it. I didn’t ask for it to be taken off so I was annoyed that he got rude. The chicken teriyaki was chewy. The food looks pretty but does not taste good.
