I went here for lunch yesterday while in town for event. Tried the Mack attack, best burger I've ever had. Whoever the chef is that was working yesterday around 1pm, you are a God.

We had the Cobb salad and the take them to the station burger. It was really good

Wow! Really impressed how they kept the history of the building! The food is top notch and the drinks are delicious! The bartenders are so fast and on it! Can't wait to come back!

We came with a group for dinner and drinks and everything was great! Food was delicious and service from Beau was excellent!

The wait for the food was a little long but other than that the food was good the waitresses were friendly and helpful. And they came by quite often.

Our Family had dinner here last night. What a wonderful experience. Delicious meals, my pulled pork nachos the best I’ve ever eaten. We met & talked with Chris the owner, Michael the GM, also our waiters Tony & Charma. Can’t say enough about their hospitality. They made us feel like family. We will definitely be back & bring our friends. We want to try everything on the menu. What a great team they have here. We will be regulars. They have a car in the back with lounge type tables & comfy seating, where you can host a quieter larger group if needed. So happy Chris invested in this great location. He totally remodeled this location, it’s gorgeous. Please try this great new Bar & Grill. Juanice♥️

We had a late dinner here last night. We ordered three different burgers, Take em to the Station (spicy), Big Texan, and Central Station Burger, fish tacos and fish and chips. Everything was delicious and our server was awesome! We will definitely be back.

The opening of this restaurant was worth the wait! The quality of the food exceeded expectations, as I found out, all food is made to order from fresh ingredients. The staff is attentive, friendly, and add to the experience of dining here. My go-to is the Mac Attack burger with the garlic twisters and a michelada. One of the times I went was during a football game and it was packed and the energy was high! Excellent environment, excellent people, and excellent food!

Clam Chowder and Fish and chips are the best in the area. I normally go to Monterey or SF for some chowder. That will no longer be the case

And unfortunately he said that the clam chowder was a little on the runny side. The waiter was outgoing, helpful and funny. We joked about the old restaurant being haunted 👻! Be sure to check this place out👍.

My wife and i went here on 5/3/25 for the first time and it was a great experience all the way around, our Server Sisi was excellent, there are not many servers like her left! Shout out to Sisi!

Great food! Had the Chicken Skillet and it was amazing! I rate the atmosphere a 3 because over the years the walls and layout have remained the same. New food same place. But I can say the food is better than 10 East!

If you’re looking for a fun date, good food, and atmosphere, central station is the place to be. Do yourself a favor and try the Rockefeller Oysters, and Cauliflower bites. Anything on the menu is sure to please the palette. Customer service is exceptional. You won’t be disappointed.

Pizza prices for the quality can't beat it, Great place for a craft beer also.

Had a great lunch at Central Station. Atmosphere and service were great. Owner, Kris Klair, visited us as well as everyone else in the restaurant to check on everything and welcome us to the restaurant. The food was fantastic and looking forward to returning for dinner. Another great restaurant choice for the Turlock community.

We had a great experience! Group of 9. We all loved our food! The grilled chicken and juicy burgers were amazing, the buns they serve extra delicious. Beer batter fries too! Love the pizza with their rustic crust. And great desserts. We had the fresh baked cookies served in a skillet with ice cream on top, and beignets. I was so excited to find beignets in Turlock and they were extra good! Our server was super friendly, got all our orders correct, and great customer service! It’s one my top places to eat in Turlock now!

Their bartender Jose is very attentive and we have come twice and each time he has taken care of us and helped us to the fullest extent

The food here has been amazing every time I have come. I have tried it three times before writing this review. Their clam chowder is one of the best I have had in the valley. The atmosphere is amazing, good choice of music as I'm enjoying a wonderful meal. The staff here have always been amazing from the moment I walked in to the moment that I pay the bill. Highly recommend trying them out if you have not had a chance to yet, you will not be disappointed

We had a fantastic meal here. Every single dish we tried, from appetizer to dessert, was amazing. The seasonings were very well balanced, the sauces were awesome, everything was fresh, cooked to order and served piping hot from the kitchen. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. There's clearly a lot of skill and pride in the kitchen - it's hard to put into words, but every single dish had SOMETHING going on to elevate it beyond our expectations, something that pleasantly surprised and put us into that "...maybe just a FEW more bites..." mode. Definitely a place we'll visit again the next time we find ourselves in the area!

Honestly surprised me. It was absolutely delicious. The garlic fries, Wow. For fries these are mind blowing. Flavor through and through with 0 heartburn. Shrimp tacos were the best I've ever had. The Onion rings are out of this world flavor. Absolutely delicious place. We got to sit in an Old Train Caboose!!! The GM Mike was absolutely amazing and accommodating. Our waitress was tentative and just great. I highly recommend this place.

It was also spicy, but in all fairness, the server did warn me. So props to him for being courteous. All in all, I would love to come back.

When asked what our server (Lacy) recommended she explained she had just recently been hired & had not tried most of the menu but did say the few items she had tried were all very good. Her honesty & friendliness shined. My wife had a pesto pasta & I went with the classic cheeseburger. Both were served timely & hot. The onion rings that came with my burger were diffentily above average & the burger was very juicy & tasteful. I tried the pasta (which I normally don't care for & found it to be a nice surprise). I think the service & friendly conversations we exchanged with Lacy made the food better but will for sure go there again to see if that was the case or if it's always this enjoyable. SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!

Cool place to come eat, a little pricy but the service was good even though the order was messed up a liitle... I will add me and my sister ordered the same thing but with diff toppings but this what happens when you try to remember orders from memory... had a Bloody Mary which was their spicy BM... not bad... Def not a bad experience... lots of tvs, I would classify this as more of a bar than a restaurant on first impression as this was my second time here in like ten years... Steak Sandwhich was good and recommended... I'd go back... prob when I want to watch a game and eat...

Was there on September 2. Not my first time. There seems to be a problem with staffing. Was recognized by the bartender/server. Waited half an hour before she came and took our drink order. Once she delivered our drinks(3 beers which took 15 minutes) she then took our food order. Well you guessed it, 45 minutes for food delivery. Our server explained they were short handed due to call outs. This isn't the first time we've had this experience, but not this bad. We like the place and especially the one male bartender who explained to us (on our first time) how he made his Old Fashions. We will be back again but it will be a while. We do support our local restaurants.

The food was very tasty and had generous portions. It's unfortunate that the waitress only gave eye contact to my male friend and left the check in front of him when I was the one treating. It would be great if females acknowledged other females.

Pulled pork sandwich was super sweet and coleslaw on it was also sweet. Too much sweetness! Salad had seasoning that was not a good addition. Hamburger was ok. Nothing special.

First time visiting since it has re-opened as central Station. Food was decent, good portions. A bit warm on the table side away from bar. But easier to have conversation. Bar music is very loud and more challenging to converse. Service was good. $$ average..

Been here a few times now and food has always been spectacular. Unfortunately today was extremely busy with limited staff. Wait time was pretty long. I really appreciated Mike, the GM, for stepping up and working the floor. That was impressive! Thank you so much Mike for doing everything you could to get us served. We went at 2pm on Saturday and the service was slow. There were 2 servers manning the bar and the dinning area. For a slow afternoon service, the service was pretty slow but the food was amazing. We only ordered the spicy pasta and Cajun fries but the pasta was the best i have had in along time. The slow service was the only off putting part of the experience. It took them over 7 mins to seat us with the restraunt 90% empty. We were seriously considering just leaving. The server brought our drinks and didn't take our food order for another 15 mins after that. Whyyyy? The pasta was so good and we wanted to order another one to go but didn't coz we were afraid it would take too long.

We really enjoy the food here but the last 6 times (YES, 6 times) we've been here they've been severely understaffed. Staff was nice but clearly stressed to the max. Constantly apologizing. The wait for our two drinks was one hr and another 45 plus min for a refill. I'm pretty sure one women was taking orders, making drinks, and handing out food. I'm not going to mention the food wait. Help out your employees before they walk out on you. Hire more hands or make some major changes to improve for not just the customers but you're workers.They work hard for you but this is just ridiculous. Black walls need to go.

My burger was alright my dates clam chowder was ice cold and gross, then they brought her out a salad and all the leaves were half rotten and wilted the place was dead how does this happen on Valentines night? The only redeeming quality about the restaurant is the waitress was great. I will NEVER go here again.

Would never go back. Server never returned to our table, had to call her over on multiple occasions. No silverware or napkins. Had to ask for normal napkins, was served a tiny black drink napkin to clean up a mess. I ordered an angry orchard cider, but was brought a corona with a lime. When I told the server, the bartender was in denial that his lines or taps were not correct. Ordered a margarita pizza, pictured in the menu, was served a cheese pizza with sliced basil. There was not a tomato slice, mozzarella slice, or basil chunks in site. Food had no flavor, no salt. Kitchen was so behind, I was able to go shop across the street and come back and my food still was not there. Then lastly, had to flag down the server just so we could finally leave the restaurant. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor return.

Service was mediocre at best. It was not crowded so not sure why. Food was a 6 out of 10. This is a sports bar not a restaurant. Beer was cold so that was good. Not sure if I will go back since their are other better options in Turlock.

How do you advertise a vegan burger, accidentally serve a non-vegan burger instead, let the person eat half of it before realizing the mistake, and then not comp the item—especially on a ~$150 bill? That’s pretty disappointing. The server was kind and apologetic, but this really should’ve been handled better. I won’t be returning, and I’ll be leaving a review on HappyCow so other vegans are aware. Edit: Since Google reviews doesn’t allow replies—just a quick note for the owner: I didn’t request a lettuce wrap. Your menu says “lettuce wrapped vegan patty with condiments on the side.” What we were served was a brioche bun burger with everything on it, including mayonnaise. So, respectfully, please review your own menu before implying the error was on the customer. Also, the bit about driving in to take photos… I’m not sure what that was about. Were you photographing food from the trash? That’s a bit odd. How would you know what I was served if you weren't there? Lots of people there, no staff. Kinda fishy! My original review didn’t even include everything that went wrong, but I am adding them since the owner's reply. Other members of our party were also served incorrect orders, and one friend got something entirely different from what they ordered. Our salad arrived 20 minutes after the rest of the food. I chose not to mention all that at first because—hey, mistakes happen, and that’s understandable. But serving non-vegan food to someone who specifically ordered a vegan item? That’s a serious issue. Most places—even diners—would comp that without hesitation. Denny’s would. Just something to think about. The owner’s response came off a bit defensive and dismissive. I understand if you take something seriously, and I think it's great you care about your vegan customers... so maybe it would be more helpful to support your clearly overworked staff instead.

The food was not good. Steaks were overcooked and dry. Mac and cheese sauce was broken, grainy. One of the guests got sick from the salad he had. Also, out of dessert that most of our 10 wanted. The server was nice but seemed very new. Overall, I won't be back. 20% gratuity add wit nobody else in the dinner. The bar had 8 people. 20% for what bad food and ok service. We had a 6pm reservation.

If I could give a zero I would ... They took very long time to come to the front to even see us walk in...we sat outside ordering over price food and they didn't even have all the food that came on the plate?? No mash potatoes no this no that..the fryer was down for fish and chips .... The timing was over 45 min for food .. keep in mind we can only order salads.... Right now the waiter even said .. I'm sorry we usually don't have people... Like really... Over priced with poor food not even a drink variety...def. go somewhere else..we ended up leaving after 1 hour and 7min of not getting out 3 salads... No one was inside the restaurant.. idk if the other reviews are from people who work there. But I promise worse place ever!!!! As we got up to leave there was other people inside the restaurant with there food and fries fish...but they told us that the fryer was down. Please save it money and go to Applebee's like we had too fast and better service the owner doesn't care for his restaurant and it shows as a restaurant manager of 17 years... I would fail this as an audit.

Worst experience ever! What a waste of time! First, we walked in, and no one was there to greet us. We finally got seated. She took our order and came back to tell us that, sorry, the fryer was down; they couldn't make fish and chips. So we all ordered salads; they also told us they had no mashed potatoes. So my friend said never mind on her entire order. We waited for an hour! Still nothing! Worst service ever. I am so mad we wasted our time. Will never give this place a chance again

Ordered chicken picatta and cajun pasta, cheese pizza kids meal and macaroni and cheese kids meal. Waited over an hour to get our food and was told because the doordash orders had the kitchen backed up. Once we got or food, a pepperoni pizza came out to which we just took because of the wait at this point. All of the rest of the food looked as if it had been sitting out for a while. The kids mac and cheese was separated and mostly cheese sauce with hardly any noodles, the cajun pasta was dry, and the chicken on my chicken picatta was as if it had been fried and then sat out for hours it was so hard and dry. Let the waitress know about my chicken and they took it back and i just ended up getting a salad because of the amount of time we had been waiting already. Got a plain caesar salad that was ok. The lettuce was not very fresh. Overall, not a great experience.

Okay, I’ve been here 4 times. The first 2 times awhile ago were good. Third time was a mess. Terrible service, no one checking up on us, food was wrong, they served the cilantro lime chicken salad with Italian balsamic vinegar which tasted terrible with the rest of the dish and when asked about it, they just said that they were out of the cilantro lime dressing (but they did not say this when we ordered and did not ask for a preferred replacement). Fourth time there was today, and this experience was just SO BAD, we are officially done with this place. We went as a group of 5. We were not served water, our server was missing for long periods of time, and when we tried to establish separate checks at the beginning, we were told that he would divide them at the end. The singular appetizer was served at the same time as the food (even though all the dishes came out at wildly different times, so we had to sit and wait a LONG TIME for everyone to get their food before eating). Now here’s the real kicker: one burger was served incorrectly with a different burger being served, but the biggest issue is that we had a vegan member of our party who ordered the vegan burger which said it would be served on a lettuce wrap. Our vegan friend was served a vegan burger on a non vegan bun with mayonnaise which they unfortunately ate a few bites of before realizing that the dish was not in fact vegan at all. We then had to wait again a long while for the food to be corrected. The incorrect meat burger was not remade, and they just added toppings to it, so it was cold by the time it was served again and eaten. When we were given the check, it was not divided, so we had to ask again for split tabs. The server gave us a pen and told us to divide it ourselves. Then, he still input the tabs wrong, and someone was charged for a meal they did not order. Nothing was comped to rectify the experience of food being wrong, and the vegan burger being served not vegan. Terrible experience, and we will not be back.
