Asia Express Union City Reviews
I was looking for a place that sold chicken wonton soup and shrimp wonton soup and found this place on Google. I ordered for pickup and it was ready as soon as I got there. The flavor is spot on and delicious. Nice and hot to touch so it's perfect by the time you get home. This will be my new wonton soup place!

$11 (incl. tax) for 3 entrees + chow mein, great price for a huge meal. A lot of entree options including all the Chinese-American staples like orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp.
Local hole in the wall, what my parents generation calls "a greasy spoon restaurant". Good comfort food, a bit sweet but still very flavorful. Warning: It is not a sit down restaurant, it is a place to buy food, and a place to sit if you wish to eat there. Don't expect a waiter, or fancy food. Really good at the end of the long day at work. BBQ park is amazing, more than once I saw someone coming in from more than 30 miles away and buy their entire stock
The quantity and quality of food for the price is simply unbeatable. Chinese fast food is not healthy, it's pure, oily comfort food depending on what you order. The fried salted fish is a must for me, getting half fried rice and half chow mein is great too. Don't get more than two items, if you've eating 3 items worth of food I hope you gym daily. Parking can be tricky depending on which Asia express you go to and the variety of ready made foods is different as well. This place has returned my craving for Chinese fast food.
This food is ok priced and tastes good. I like the fried cream cheese wontons.

Food was okay Big Portions, Clean and Service was okay

The walnut prawns are always a treat. Definitely the best of what I have tried. Other items can be hit and miss. The rice and noodles are just about Ok. But overall, it's good value for your money. The service varies. Sometimes it is excellent. At other times, just passable. I go back for the walnut prawns.

It has been over a year since I had lunch at this location and today was a reminder on why I stayed away in the first place. Egg roll burned and stale. Sweet and sour pork was not bad. Staying away for a while.
Food was “eh.” Food was dry. Lady serving the food was rushed to serve us. Wanted to stay and eat but the restaurant felt unwelcoming.
Nine dollars for that they don’t give you no more like they used to. They got very cheap. The noodles are dried out and there is hardly any chicken or pork in the fried rice will not be going there again.

It used to be really good not sure what happened but food taste bad and old. Gave it a chance 2 times after the first bad experience and it has not gotten better very disappointed.

What a huge disappointment. I usually always get their soup when I’m sick, this time there was hair in it…disgusting. The ingredients don’t taste fresh either. I also got an egg roll and it tasted like it was fried in old oil, I got the mushroom chicken and it also didn’t taste fresh. Won’t be ordering from here ever again. Asia express employees: you really need to pay attention when you’re preparing the food you are serving to the public!
Extremely low quality food. The meat is terrible. Burnt egg rolls that are cold inside. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.
The lady who serves the food is soooo RUDE!!! She treats the homeless like s*** && she’s very pushy and just mean! The food is cold as well…

This place is garbage. Food is nasty. With the price I paid I'd rather go to Panda Express. Just gross! Dead roaches on floor. Food was hard like it was in the heating section for hours. Not worth it
This place is awful. The Asia Express in Newark is a million times better. This one has terrible food, small portions. Don’t order the family meal they will give you small containers of food that is not enough for a whole family. Their fortune cookies are even stale so who knows what other old food they serve. Don’t bother with this place. GO TO ASIA EXPRESS IN NEWARK INSTEAD.
My family and i have been coming to this place for years but since the new owners bought the food has been bad. Chow main was very dry and sticky and only had one small pieceof meat. Orange chicken was dry and did not taste like Orange. Honey walnut shrimp taste more like Orange chicken. Teriyaki chicken was burnt and chewy. Pork fried rice taste burnt.
Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Went here because it's close to work and never again. Burnt, bland, and disgusting.
Dishes we ordered (egg rolls, fried rice, chowmein, chicken teriyaki, Broccoli beef, walnut prawns and hot & sour soup) tasted old, meat was dry, soup was too runny. Egg rolls tasted like they were cooked in old oil.
We've always enjoyed their food, BUT NOT TONIGHT!! I am not sure How long the Asia chicken has been sitting out or how old it was? But I got the worst upset stomach EVER!! I literally had to air out our house, rubbery ang disgusting 🫣 😑. Sadly, we won't be back!! Avoid this place!
I guess I'm used to my regular place where where the customer is met with slightly more than annoyance that they are there. The portions are a joke, most of the food looks like it's been there for hours and the ladies that work there are not pleasant. After spending $15 on a 3 item special, 2 of them being the last dregs of the choices and with not another soul in the place I asked for a sample to see if I might like to get something additional and was et with "no, no samples". No, I suggest going hungry rather than getting anything from here.
