R&B Tea Fremont Reviews
Pretty solid tea. Got the Taro Storm, came in a nice can, tasted good and had a balanced amount of sugar. Often too many kids inside, usually rambling about some “senior support network”, although I believe that they’ve changed meetup locations as I haven’t seen them in a while.
Tried the matcha milk tea with mango. The drink was great. But a little too sweet from the mango syrup. The drink is definitely not watered down and is delicious. The place was not very busy and had enough seatings. I spent about 2 hours in here chatting with friends and totally loved the place.

“I recently visited R&B Tea in Fremont and tried the Strawberry Watermelon Surprise. It was a refreshing and delicious choice! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their drinks!”
My company buys drinks from here. They are great at making drink orders of large quantities with great quality. I look forward to getting drinks here every week. Employees are so nice and accomodating. I will be a loyal customer here.
It was very clean and the drinks and snacks we ordered came out quickly. The popcorn chicken was good; it was a large portion and was freshly fried. They even have board games for you to play with your friends! The staff were really friendly, and overall the tea shop had a really nice ambience. I would 10/10 go again. :))
Food, drinks, and the service was absolutely top notch. We got the fried chicken w/ sticky rice and cheesy corn dog to be paired with a taro milk tea, ube brown sugar milk tea, and the egg cream boba latte. It was all just straight up bussin. Words can’t describe how good it was. So good that a Google review was needed.
A hidden gem in Fremont getting even better R&B Tea Fremont has always been one of my favorite spots for drinks, but they just introduced Chicken Pho to the menu and WOW — it’s honestly way better than I expected. . Clear broth, tender chicken, and super comforting and it hits perfectly whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or warming up on a cold day. Paired with their Mango Tea, it’s the perfect combo. The shop is clean, bright, and always has a chill vibe. Staff is always friendly and quick, too. If you’re in Fremont and haven’t checked out the new Chicken Pho yet, definitely stop by R&B Tea. They’re leveling up their menu and it shows. Highly recommend!

Ordering wasn’t easy. The online menu didn’t match the tablet in store. Spam musubi online is $5 but in store it’s $7.50. Online has brown sugar boba milk tea but in-store tablet didn’t have it. We ended up ordering online, after they said to order online. Ordering was painful but the food and drinks were great! Hopefully they can fix the ordering issues. My son got the huge drink!! It’s a great deal if you like the same drink, $8.50 and you can share it. Garlic fries and spam musubi were both great. Parking can be challenging, it’s 3 hours free.
I checked out R&B Tea - Fremont while on a bike ride along Fremont Blvd. The location is very convenient. There is free timed street parking as well as some parking in the rear of the storefront. There are also multiple locations along Artist Walk to park one’s bike, and the shop is only a short walk from nearby bus stops. The store was clean and bright, music was playing, and there was ample seating for people to sit down and enjoy their food and drinks. There were also some games available for people to play (cards, Jenga, Connect4, etc). I could imagine this place being a really fun spot to meet up with friends, get some boba and snacks, and chill. I used the self-service kiosk to order and pay. I ordered the spicy popcorn chicken (but with zero spiciness for me lol) and a Green Thai Tea. Both were excellent! The popcorn chicken was crisp and flavorful. I appreciated that it wasn’t mostly batter and that it wasn’t super oily or greasy. The Green Thai Tea was also very good—fresh and smooth. I only know a few places that offer this drink, so I’m glad to know there’s a place nearby to me that has it and that does it well. I had an opportunity to meet and talk with the owner, Allen, who is looking forward to the store’s Grand Opening. He was very friendly and kind, and he really knows his stuff about tea. I’m looking forward to coming back to R&B Tea - Fremont soon! Addendum: I revisited R&B recently several weeks after my first visit from which I wrote my review. I got the same drink. I’ll note that the boba’s texture is too soft for my preference and isn’t as chewy as I would like it. I hope this is something they’re working on while they’re still in the soft opening, because the quality of the drink itself is still good.
Nice location, nice sit out area. Lots of collection of teas, snacks. One thing I am not sure why I have to give phone number to place an order at their kiosk on the shop. I think I should have option to not give my phone number.

Order way ahead if you go during meal times, they are popular and I had to wait a while. The fruit tea taste fresh but the bottle container upsize isn't worth it.
I got a House Coffee with Cream Cheese (and added coffee jelly), which was fantastic, but I was a bit surprised to see that it was canned (instead of a film plastic top). I appreciate that they do this, and reduce film plastic waste, but it made it nearly impossible to actually consume my drink though the narrow opening in the metal top. I think you should show this in the product pictures so customers are informed, as well as give customers the option to not have a top attached. Considering "no ice" is $1 extra and the ice prevented me from getting the jelly (that I did pay extra for), I was a bit frustrated that I didn't know in advance how it would be served. Overall, I enjoyed what I got (after ripping the top off), but it feels like the drink container choice doesn't match the drink.

The taste of the boba teas (Peach milk tea and mango milk tea) were not very good. I give a star for the packaging/container "can" that the boba teas were provided in since I have not seen those plastic containers at any other tea place, so kudos to R&B tea for the uniqueness. The taste of the peach milk tea with tapioca left something to be desired. I could taste any peach at all. It seemed that the boba tea I received was sugar milk. The mango milk tea was average and extremely similar to the peach milk tea.

Stopped by to see this location. The staff is young and not very knowledgeable of the menu. Kiosk units are great, but they lag speed, quality, and confusioning, menu jumps from fresh milk to milk teas and shows almost the same selection of drinks. I ordered 2 drinks (see pictures)a bit disappointing, the store highlights Brown Sugar drinks heavy, but the drinks don't do justice. First place I've visited that actually charges for "brown sugar boba" in a signature drink menu. Also, Ube Brown Sugar? What is this! No flavor of the UBE, overpriced, and tasted like brown sugar. It's not worth the $7 Overall, I'm not happy, but it was worth the $14.00 experience not to come back. Good luck R&B 👍

I can't begin to explain how disappointed I am at this place. Placed and order, pudding was expired, fries were old, drinks were made poor and forgot add-ons. Why would you serve pudding that smells old and tasted like spoiled milk ? Half of what I received was literally a health hazard and I wish I didn't even have to write a review like this. If that's the type of quality you bring customers I advise anyone to stay clear.
Randomly came upon this boba place because other places were closed by that time. A couple friends and I went there to try it out. Horrible service, takes 25-30 just to get your drinks after ordering. Food was taking way too long and the kid making the drinks didn’t know what he was doing. Flustered, all over the place. On top of that, a doordash person came in waiting on an order, wasn’t ready yet so he went outside to wait in his car. He comes back in maybe 20 mins later and asks them for the order he was waiting on and they tell him that “somebody else already came to pick that up”. Which left confusion on the doordashers end. But actually, they gave it away to the wrong person but tried to act like someone else already came for the order. Again, it was the kid who was flustered and all over the place that tried to say someone else had picked it up, but in actuality he gave away the order to the wrong person. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOBA PLACE. Unless you have 30-45 mins to wait on drinks by all means.
Ordered on DoorDash and my order was accepted. Went to the store and doors were locked. I saw a worker in there and she was just nodding her head “no” at me. Why would you accept my order if you are closed? I had to contact DoorDash for a refund because I couldn’t cancel my order because they accepted my order.
I usually have a good experience here but today and last 2 weeks have been so bad first of all the woman with green hair and black with makeup had the worst service she gave me the wrong order and charged me extra and when I caught her she wouldn’t own up to it . I am very disappointed and probably wont come her again she was also rude and wouldn’t believe me and wouldn’t listen I was waiting 1 hour she couldn’t serve me I am probably never coming again
The kiosk was pretty nice but the staff are young teenagers and I ordered a “White Peach Oolong Milk Tea.” It was suppose to have milk right? But they gave me a clear version with no milk inside… I let them redo the order and there was no apology or anything..the younger girl and the tall young guy’s service was not nice at all. The milk tea taste weird as well and got stomachaches after drinking this.
