There was 5 people ahead of me, I had to wait 25 minutes. I had the steak burrito and a spicy salsa on the side. It was very good.
To go is much comfortable in comparison to dine in when it comes to Chipotle. It would have been much better if interiors for dine is more comfortable.
The bathroom door was locked. Presumably someone's guts where liquidized by the barbacoa con queso. My burrito bowl was wetter than the bathroom floor at at the great wolf lodge water park. They gave me enough sour cream to fill Lafayette reservoir. Will be back.
We Tried Chipotle other location in Fremont, and we finally concluded Fremont Chipotle is by Far the worst Chipotle location out of all locations i tried in the nation, as a new exploration we as family of 5 went to this location. This location on a Weekend has very Big Line, Plan to arrive 30 min before you feel Hungry. Quality is Okay Not phenomenal or Wow
Beef is overcooked. Manager replaced it with a new bowl per my request but the beef was overcooked as well. Great customer service but please don’t cook the beef to well overdone. Other chipotle restaurants cook their beef tender bit charred.
I didn't bother to read the reviews until after i picked up my order. I ordered online and i ordered a carne asada burrito with everything but light on the rice. The burrito was practically a quesadilla! It was nearly flat and narrow. Plus it was cold. I was told it'll be ready @ 1050, I arrived only 10 mins later. I assumed that all Chipotle locations would be at a high level of standards but until today. I usually go to Los Gallos Taqueria but since I was in the neighborhood...big mistake.
I LOVE chipotle but just walking in seen all of this makes me nauseous. If they keep the space the public sees like this, imagine the back!!! I went 6/3/23 around 9:30 and the people that were working were not working as a team. Everyone was in their own world. I was a fast food restaurant assistant manager and know how a comercial kitchen should look. This is unacceptable. But I do believe it’s something that with good management, can improve its service.
This review is based solely on the total disaster the place was in, not the food quality. However the front room made me worry what the kitchen looked like. Probably understaffed, but still... All garbage cans were overflowing and stacked well above the brim, food and waste on every table, scraps and napkins all over the floor, liquid spills not cleaned up, just a sign put out. Probably one the dirtiest restaurant I've been to. The guys (as in men) behind the counter were unfriendly as heck (very unhappy to be there), esp one who rolled his eyes at the customer next to me after he asked for a new food bag after the server drug it through the pile of queso Blanco sauce spread over the cashier counter. One of the girl servers appeared nice, so someone was trying. Food tasted fine, so no complaints, but come on, this place would have been shut down by the health department immediately had they come in on a surprise inspection. I'm really not that picky, but this was exceptional. Good luck. Maybe the other shifts are cleaner, maybe a greyhound bus full of people raided the place before I came in, but they could still wipe some tables and take the trash out... Who knows?
Don‘t ever order online from this location. Complete fraud going on here. Ordered 2 burrito bowl with half chicken and half beef, One bowl came with the protein missing completely! This is unacceptable and there’s no way to get your money back. Their fraud only costs 15% of your order and it takes them 7 days to process it. Complete con-job they are running here. Order at your own risk.
AVOID THIS LOCATION! I made the mistake of using the Chipotle app and they completely messed up my order. Not only was my order wrong, the food looked disgusting, looked like it was someone's leftovers and not edible. It looked like dog food. I dumped it straight in the trash. When I called to speak to the manager about my order, he was a total jerk. Instead of helping me try and correct the order, he was rude and condescending as if it was my fault. Wow....cannot believe he's a manager.
Extreme failure of preventing mixup of meat in a vegetarian Sofrita bowl. Not recommended for vegan or vegetarian people! Customer service was good to replace it but I had to drive there twice for pick up.
The employee Shannon needs to be fired immediately. I have never seen such a toxic environment when it comes to a food establishment. She was arguing with her coworkers in front of customers and refusing to help her coworker when there was a line of people.
This place really sucks! They don't even fill your bowl up to the correct amount, look how sad and half empty this bowl is. Seen the Male employees checking out the customer behind me and seems like they will only fill your bowl up if you are a pretty girl like the customer that was behind me, they filled her bowl up to the brim. Terrible place highly don't recommend this location.
No wonder the review is so low. It absolutely means it. The service is worst ever I experienced in California. Please away from this shop.
Be careful, this place is scam. I am the only one customer at the place when I order the food, I never ask for Guacamole, they did not add Guacamole, but they charged Guacamole for both bowls. If they are more customers and they made the mistake, I am totally understandable, but I am the only one customer and they charged me right after the order, how can it be mistaken. Luckily I did not throw away the receipt this time, a glimpse of the receipt at home I found out they over-charged Guacamole, after I return to the Chipotle Union City, they gave the refund to me, but they are very rude, wasting so much of my time and no apologies, most likely they over-charged it on purpose.
I had a really disappointing experience. They were out of lettuce, cheese, corn, and guacamole, yet were still charging the full price. That shouldn’t be acceptable. They didn’t offer any compensation, such as extra beans or chips, and refused when I asked. I understand that this may be due to company policy rather than staff decisions, but Chipotle needs to reconsider this approach. Some of the staff were also discourteous, which made the experience even worse. I would not recommend it.
Just left chipotle and Union City they’re not cooperating with the hacks and they’re not friendly. They have a attitude when you ask for more and I know the managers know it and it’s a place that I wouldn’t go back to ever again we can’t keep letting people treat us any kind of way even though the economy is bad they’re wrong if you ask for exodus and extra Dad, they should give it to you Not friendly like I said the employees get a attitude of the actual scoop. It is or extra scoop of that, they know they are supposed to give it to you, but I think the managers above them are telling them not to.
Got a bowl through the app and it wouldn’t let me add extras for my sour cream or cheese, and tried calling the number but the dumb ai wasn’t answering what i wanted to. You guys need to seriously work on your customer service, because me not being able to talk to someone directly at that chipotle is ridiculous. And they dont even be giving the right portions, just all lazy up in there. Edit** I just got my order… horrible customer service as i said. No napkins and no utensils, i used to be an employee of chipotle, so knowing what goes on in the kitchen, i know they’re being lazy with their orders. Im being nice, please just order at a different employee.
This place is run by kids. Nothing professional. Only playing around and horsing with each other. I seen one walk outside and walk in like it's nothing, not even washing his hands or wearing any protection for PPE. They are out by the freezer jumping and laughing and joking while there is a line of 10 customers waiting. What a joke this place is. Also I ordered multiple burritos and they are all labeled C. What the hell and how the hell am I going to know which is my steak. I think they are high on something. Jumping up and around
I ordered pickup through the Chipotle app, and I wouldn’t recommend ordering a blind pickup. The bowl came without a proper lid and was covered with foil instead. The portions were incredibly small, not even reaching the top of the foil. There were only four pieces of chicken, which were dry and had an odd taste. There was barely any rice, and they forgot to include the cheese. The bowl was filled with lettuce to make it appear fuller. Additionally, the tortilla on the side was rock hard and inedible. The quesadilla was mostly cheese with just a few pieces of chicken, and they also forgot to include the vinaigrette. The rumors seem to be true—better luck ordering in person.
On 12/15/23 around 5pm. The girl in the front was rude, and was slapping the food into the bowl. She spread it out to make it look like there was more. I asked for double meat and rice which she ignored. So I had to ask another worker for more. My food was okay, but for a rice bowl that was 18 dollars just for double meat and rice. My food was cold I had to warm it up. The people there seem very unhappy. I feel like the portion sizes aren’t very big… my previous experiences weren’t very pleasant either. I wasn’t given a receipt. This place needs new workers they all seem very angry. My coworkers have experienced the same issue.
I have been a big chipotle fan all my life until I moved to union city and started visiting this location. I have been here thrice so far (for my love of chipotle) but the experience has been getting worse than the last every single time. The service is horrible and the place is a mess too. Today the server crossed all limits : was serving extra small portions for everything and when I asked for extra sauce she asked me to pay extra. This felt crazy to me. I have never had this experience ever and when asked about it the server said I asked for extra so I should be ready to pay extra. She was rude and incompetent. The place is very unhygienic and dirty, drinks and paper napkins on the floor, no cutlery for the food and completely mismanaged. Will not be visiting this place again.
Went here on Saturday to enjoy some lunch as you can see by the pictures the restaurant is filthy. Asked Andrew store manager if someone could clean the tables when I left they were still just as dirty this place has a low rating because no one here cares. I will be contacting Chipotle Headquarters, and asking them if they are content with the cleanliness, and the disconnect from the employees.
I've visited this store 3x in the last 2 weeks. Every visit had its unique experience. Either 1. Store was super dirty. 2. Forks and napkins never available or all over the counter or 3. The "line" preparation table was messy. But tonight, it was a bit much. I asked for quacamole on my bowl and I got this. (See image)why am I being charged for quacamole when this isnt even a full scoop! 🤬. I don't think I'll be visiting this location again, I'd rather drive the extra 5 miles for better service and experience. Good luck.
They put a chunk of meat in my veggie order and when I chatted with their customer service to have the store manager call me, they could not accommodate that request. It is fair to ask to speak to a store manager to know what went wrong and to see that issue does not get repeated. If chipotle really cares about customer feedback, they should have the store manager call me
