Excellent food and service. The server was very friendly and the food came promptly. All the food tasted very fresh and the portion was good. The tomatoes in particular had a phenomenal flavor. Overall a great experience and I will return.

Stopped here on a whim and didn't regret it! Both of the plates my wife and I ordered were full of flavor. The service was great our waiter helped us choose what to order. Definitely try the wine and beer here!

Great to have Peruvian food (good one) near home. Flavors are traditional and true to dishes. Anticuchos, man...oh boy, excellent. Lomo saltado is great. Good service and very cozy place. Take a friend or your family. Date? Hmmm...maybe for breakfast. (It gets smoky for all great preparation).

2025-05-23: Can't say I understand the current rating here on Google maps. I tend to gear myself towards eating at only 4.5+ rated w/ many review places - if you are like me, sometimes the rating here is Definetly off. Way off. This is a perfect example of this. I'm often in this area visiting family and will pass when I'm on Foothill and have consistently said "I'd like to try that place" - this evening after doing some shopping near by and heading back to where my wife and I stay, I had a place to stop in mind and when my wife happened to remind me, I turned around and decided tonight was the night to try. Nice little place. Dude who helped us was super nice. I decided to get one of the seafood stir fried with tomatoes and onions dishes - gentleman took a few minutes to explain what the difference was and I opted for the one with rice. In additional we shared fried sweet potatoes (nicely fried and seasons, really like the half dollar sized offering vs say a "fry") also had a personal favorite of mine and at any place that offers I buy - yuca fritas. Incredible. Wife had one of the sandwiches, steak. The food was spectacular. Very flavorful and the contracting flavors of the 3 types of seafood + the purple onions + tomatoes and the tasty sauce was spot on. Presentation was great. Place is really a nice little spot. Service was courteous and friendly. Portions were large - wife and I both needed to take some home. The green side sauce that came with the bread was spot on for my personal spice level. I can't even offer any criticism about the visit at all. Glad that tonight was the night. Great way to close out my work week having a nice quiet dinner with my wife while having some really great food in a great little spot.

I used to eat here at least once or twice a month. The food is very authentic and flavorful. I moved to Texas 2 and 1/2 years ago and I’ve yet to find a Peruvian place that can match the awesomeness that is served here. It’s a small mom n pop restaurant, so if you’re appearing a 8pm or after call ahead. It’s a minor inconvenience, the food is supremely delicious and the service is top notch.

The Lomo Saltado and fried Casava was soooooo good! And the service was top notch! This was my cousin's first time experiencing Peruvian food and she's HOOKED now. Plus, we had so much food there were leftovers for 2 meals after. Absolutely worth the price. I'm just sad they're not open everyday.

This place is amazing!! My Gf was in town for a little from Peru and wanted to try authentic Peruvian food or close to it as possible, we tried a few different places and once we came across this place we didn’t go anywhere else simply perfect! Tasted just like home she said, The kind lady upfront helped with pronouncing my order (I’m not Peruvian and trying to learn the name of dishes ect.) and they cook the food as soon as you place it so it’s fresh and hot which is all you can ask for which takes 15 minutes in which you get tasty full of flavor goodness, will definitely be back !

Inca's falls into the "hole in the wall" category with maybe six or seven tables, but that has not stopped them from producing some amazing dishes. Don't let the size of the place fool you. I had the Tallarin Saltado de Mariscos and the dish was fabulous. The mariscos included abundant shrimp, calamari rounds, and mussels, along with tomatoes, onions, red bell pepper, and green onions, of course mixed with tender pasta. This dish can readily serve two. My friend had the Tallarin Saltado de Carne, similar to the de Marisco dish, only with asada rather than seafood. It was a huge serving too. The table included the green peruvian ahi sauce and some warm bread rolls. The sauce was nice and spicy and the rolls were slightly toasted and served hot. The bread helped mop up the outstanding sauce on the mariscos dish. Of course, Inca Cola was available and a great accompaniment to Tallarin Saltado. Prices are flat out amazing and late lunch service on a Sunday was spot on. Note that I took off one star because Inca charges a 4% fee for using a credit card. If that fee is advertised, it surely was not obvious.

I had a massage appointment at Body Centre of Upland (check out my review) and noticed Inca's Peruvian Restaurant a few times during my visits. Today was the day I decided to stop by and give them a try. Since I wasn't very hungry, I opted to share a meal with my partner. We ordered the chicken Chaufa and an empanada. The meal also came with a dinner roll, which was nice, though a bit burnt, it was fine with butter. The service was good, and the Chaufa was decent, peppery and not as flavorful. Also, they didn’t provide extra sauce when we took the leftovers home, which was a bit disappointing. And they charge $1 for credit card payments, I wish there had been a sign indicating this somewhere on the menu or near the register.

Good Peruvian food. Their selection is good. Good service as well. Parking can be limited, but good to wait for. The food is well portioned and tasty. I got the bistek a lo pobre. Good selection, I like the option and taste. Fresh and cooked to order. Give it a try.

The fried plantains were caramelized and crispy outside and well-cooked throughout. The seco norteno con frijoles was tender and very flavorful. I will definitely eat here again.

The service was good, but the food was flavorless, especially the bistec a lo pobre. The whole plate had no salt at all, and it tasted like old refrigerated meat .

I order a Lomo Salteado plate; I’m been to others Peruvian restaurants also have friends who cook Peruvian criollo food and the Lomo Salteado that I buy at Incas Grill Upland was not the Peruvian flavor that I know from my Peruvian friends food or the other Peruvian restaurant. Well I give a 3 stars because the food was good but not that unique Peruvian criollo fantastic flavor that I know. That’s my honest opinion the place it’s nice, food was made in least than 15 minutes.

Food was ok my Chaufa de pollo was grease and the rice looks like it was from the previous day (maybe because it was the lunch special lol) my son liked his saltado de mariscos 👍

Disappointed with my food and the price differences. My dish was suppose to be $9.99 based on their online menu which was updated not too long ago. It ended up being $16 and was not good. Sauce was spicy with NO flavor, just spicy. And the sweet plantains was $11 for 6 pieces. Still on the lookout for a good Peruvian restaurant. This one didn't make the cut.

Been passing by this place for a few months and finally gave it a shot. Prices are good, the server, which i think is the owner is nice, and the food was really good, but my pescado a la macho had very little pescado and more potato to make the plate look full. Our experience was also diminished by dirty chairs, the dusty fan that they had blowing behind my husbands seat, and a cockroach that decided to join our table while we were eating. My husband smashed the roach after it tried to scatter near his Inca cola, and he hid it under a napkin to show the owner, but the owner blamed Baskin Robbin’s for the roach coming into his store. He offered an apology, and that was it. No discount offered for the roach intrusion of our meal or the fact that we were very discreet about it. Not sure if we’ll be coming to eat inside again, but I hope he’ll take our observances to heart, and have a cleaner environment for guests.

I have had dinner at Pollo Inka in Gardena and Chios in Van Nuys, very delicious and I enjoy Peruvian food. Inca's Peruvian is closer to me and decided to try them. Went there for dinner with two other persons. First of all the restaurant was dirty, I ignored that. We ordered our food, Lomo Saltado, and it took 50 minutes to get our food. That made me very upset cause there were only six other people in the restaurant. Finally, the food was ok, a little heavy on the ingredients. Not worth it because of the cleanliness and wait time. Too bad because they are closest to me.
