Rose Garden Vacaville Reviews
No grumps at this Cafe Grumpy location! Just a simple, clean cafe with friendly service and great coffee. 5 stars for my oat milk flat white (with latte art resembling Pac-Man 😄) and 4 for the almond croissant. I visited late morning on a Friday and had no problem finding a seat.
I absolutely love Café Grumpy. They truly make some of the best coffee, and you can tell they really care about quality. What I appreciate most is that they take their time with each drink instead of rushing through orders, and it genuinely shows in the taste. Every cup feels thoughtfully made. I’ve also tried their iced matcha, which was really good smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet. The café itself is on the smaller side with limited seating, mostly a communal table, but it’s actually very nice and adds to the cozy, relaxed vibe. It feels welcoming and calm, not chaotic or crowded. They also have a great selection of pastries, which pair perfectly with the coffee and make it an even better stop. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for high quality drinks, a nice atmosphere, and a laid back experience. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops.
This place is great, nice people, some of the best hot chocolate ever and good coffee. Highly recommend this spot to decompress from the hustle and bustle!
A cozy place with a homey atmosphere, not too noisy. Good selection of filter coffee, friendly baristas. Perfect if you want to relax or work on your laptop.
The ambiance is incredibly relaxing and the decor is beautifully done. The coffee here is by far the best in the area. The young guy with long hair wearing a woolly beanie hat is very friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. I'm so glad to have finally found such a fantastic coffee spot in New York. A massive well done!
Quaint coffeeshop with a variety of specialty espresso-based drinks and their house blend coffee. The drip coffee was full bodied with a great milk chocolate flavor and served at the perfect drinking temperature, solid blend. The guy behind the counter was extremely friendly / great service!
On a wet rainy day this seemed like the appropriately named place for me. It was nice and clean and dry inside, and the service was quick and efficient. It’s rare I get a good cup of black coffee lately, but this one was great. I’ll come back, even on a nice day when I’m not in a bad mood. Paul
Came Sunday at 11 and it was not too busy which is great because earlier in the week I tried at around 6pm and it was busier. There two huge communal tables. Tried one of the seasonals honey oat latte and it was great, earthy flavours. Love the name. Pop in if you are around garner district and midtown area
Great coffee shop that I went to to get some work done. I love that they have large tables where no one bugs you though you stay an hour or two sipping at your latte slowly typing away. They do not have wifi tho- so I tether off my phone. They have different milk substitutes which I appreciate since I don’t drink milk. Try the rose water latte that sounds amazing though I haven’t tried it, in the hour I was there at least half a dozen people tried it. This shop has other shops as well baristas are very friendly and helpful. Stop by to check it out!
First of all, love that they have single origin coffee beans. You can see the color of the roasted beans and they are not burnt! One day I ordered the single origin latte with oat milk, it had a different aftertaste that I’m used to , which I blamed on the milk. Second day I had the drip, no milk, it was good coffee, my friend had the cortado and was happy to know they offer it, because it’s uncommon in most coffee shops, he deemed it really good. They didn’t have a lot of options for food, just some pastries, no gluten free option, so we had to get breakfast elsewhere
Cozy spot for coffee lovers in New York City. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Their coffee is top-notch, with a variety of roasts to choose from, and the baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. It can get crowded during peak hours, i was lucky and Thursday after 3pm was practically empty. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get.
Café Grumpy - Fashion District is a nice, quiet spot. I was in search of a good cappuccino and stumbled upon this place due to its positive reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I first inquired about the size of the cups they use for small cappuccinos. The barista showed me an 8-ounce paper cup, but I preferred a ceramic cup, which appeared to be larger than 8 ounces. However, the barista insisted it was an 8-ounce cup. I ordered the cappuccino anyway, but I felt there was too much milk in it. I still believe it was served in a 12-ounce cup, not 8. Putting a single shot in a larger cup results in more of a milk-based drink rather than a proper cappuccino. If the cappuccino had been served in a smaller cup, it would have tasted much better. Nonetheless, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. There are two large communal tables, so you'll be sharing your table space with others. If you prefer having a small table to yourself, this may not be the place for you.
