Casa Zaragoza València Reviews
I'm quite surprised by all the bad reviews. My own experience was not bad at all. I had a salad 🥗 which was real good. Wow got the salmon and it was not bad at all. The service was quite fast, but it wasn't peak hour. Sitting in the terrace is very pleasant as it's right on the beach, but seating inside is quite messy.
The food at this restaurant was delicious! We had paella de verduras and it was the best I had ever tasted! My sister had boquerones(tiny fried fish) and she and I agreed that these fish were the best we had tasted on this trip so far. The sight from the outside is also great! A beach with soft, white sand and a extremely pretty- yet cold- sea.Highly Recommend for the whole family- dad said the beer was great. But I gave this restaurant 4 stars since as it was Christmas Eve we had to hurry up with our food so that they could close the restaurant. Enjoy!!! Mia,age 11
I wanted some cod but my friend who is Vegan wanted vegetable paella. He was told it was only made for 2 or more people so I changed to the paella. We were then told waiting time was 2 hours. We …
Well, we went in a Saturday night, it was me and my friend first time in there. I understand is summer and some staff no wanna be there, but would be interesting if they show some good behaviour to attend you. I don’t recommend and no would you like to come back again

The service was lackluster, the staff distant. Their paella valencia was more yellow rice than authentic dish. For a genuine paella with a proper soccarat, head to the restaurant next door—and pa…

Do not go. Would give zero if I could. 30 mins to get an order taken, a further 30 for it to come (wrong and incomplete). Bill then took 20 mins and was wrong. Restaurant sits 200 and has one (1) toilet. Genuinely the worst bar/restaurant I’ve ever had the misfortune to inhale air in.
Yo what the hell was that meal? We pull up thinking we’re gonna get some bomb beachside paella… and they hand us a fork?? A FORK. To eat paella. In SPAIN. Are you joking?? Might as well give me chopsticks for soup while you're at it. And don’t get me started on the fries. Bruh they were raw inside. Like they just looked at the potatoes and said “yeah good enough” and threw 'em in oil for 2 seconds. Crunchy outside, mushy trash inside. I’ve had better fries at school lunch. Whole place felt like a tourist trap run by people who gave up on life. Not coming back, ever. Should’ve just gone to kebab fr.
Very very very expensive. 4.50 euro each for a fizzy water, Diet Coke and a peach juice. We haven’t paid those prices in even the best restaurants here. Shocking. Had lunch yesterday in a lovely restaurant just further down the promenade and soft drinks were 2.50.
If I had to describe this place in one phrase, it would be: a classic tourist trap. The location might look appealing at first glance, but the moment you step in, it’s clear that the focus is more on squeezing money out of visitors than offering any real value or authentic experience. Prices are shockingly high for what’s being offered—whether it’s food, souvenirs, or basic services. You end up paying premium rates for things that are mediocre at best. It’s hard not to feel taken advantage of, especially when the quality doesn’t even come close to justifying the cost. There’s a strong sense that the place survives purely on foot traffic from unsuspecting tourists, not repeat visitors. Overall, it’s the kind of place you visit once and immediately regret. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re okay with spending too much for very little in return.
This was the WORST service and nastiest staff we have seen on the beach. The entire staff was indifferent and hating their jobs! I can’t comment on the food because after ordering it 3 times, it never came! It was of course on our check! When I complained, the head server just looked at me with his uncaring attitude and walked away! No response! Please DO NOT spend your time and money there!
It's the worst place to get something to eat. Oily, bad bravas for twelve euros. You order fried fish and they bring you a small portion of salted anchovies so you don't notice the flavor, and the calamari is also oily and salty. Watch out for the price: three portions and three drinks for the modest price of 50 euros. This kind of hospitality industry is hurting our city and our country. When I complain to the waiter about the bad food and the price, he replies... this is for tourists... what a shame about the place and the workers. I recommend no one goes to this place. It's the worst in all of Valencia.
The food was saltier than seawater. The menu is uncertain and does not meet the expectations proposed in it. We had a chicken paella super salty, especial meloso that it was an over-salted soup and an antrecote they got wrong because another meat arrived and it was raw. Very slow service, we asked for a second water because during the 45 minute wait for food it had run out and we didn't see it coming. Never again.
Slow service and the food wasn't great considering the price. The chicken in both our meals for example was very dry and though I asked for a sauce, as mine was just chicken with grilled vegetables, it took getting up for a second time to ask a waiter before I finally got it. It was a disappointing visit.
