Que lugar tan agradable y curioso. Su decoración es vintage, muy bien seleccionada. Su comida espectacular, no hay plato malo. Su mezcla de sabores y de ingredientes todos en su mejor punto. La atención y el ambiente es excelente. Volveré siempre.

Fuimos a este local por sus buenas reseñas y no defraudó. Así que nos presentamos dos adultos, sin reserva, un martes noche de octubre, con la intención de cenar. Nos pasamos la entrada, pues es muy pequeña y da a un pasillo con más negocios, estando el restaurante al fondo. Resultaron ser tres plantas llenas de vegetación y curiosa decoración. Nos sentaron en el último huequito de la barra que quedaba libre en el comedor principal, pues había un estupendo grupo de música tocando en directo. Pedimos tres platos y un postre, demasiada comida, pues los platos eran muy abundantes. Todo estaba buenísimo: buñuelos, ensalada Alquimia y Peñón de Guatapé (éste es gigante). De postre unos ricos tomatillos con merengue. El servicio fue muy amable y atento en todo momento. El precio en la línea de los restaurantes del de El Poblado, pero la comida tiene mucho mas calidad. Qué lugar más delicioso! El concepto es para compartir, porque los platos son enormes, pero increíbles. Es una experiencia colombiana para el paladar. Los cocteles también super buenos. El ambiente casero pero diferente. Es un must si vienes a Medellin. Ven con hambre!

La experiencia la puedo resumir en una sola palabra: ¡VOLVERÉ! De principio a fin fue una muy buena experiencia. Nos sorprendió gratamente su oferta gastronómica, la atención y el cuidado del personal al explicar cada plato con detalle. Todo genera una muy buena impresión, hasta la carta es bonita y aparente, está presentada de forma creativa, parece un libro bien elaborado. Fuimos un sábado y coincidimos con una banda cubana maravillosa; la voz de la cantante era preciosa y aportó un ambiente aún más especial. El lugar es encantador, con una decoración auténtica, muy única y fuera de lo común. Además, el precio es muy justo, incluso económico, para la calidad de la comida y la experiencia que ofrecen. Solo tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente con la gestión de la reserva, pero lo resolvieron de inmediato y con la mejor actitud, lo cual suma muchos puntos

Al llegar al lugar uno no se lleva muy buena impresión, pues entra por una pequeña puerta, a traves de un corredor donde el piso es de diferentes baldosas, viejas y desiguales. Con aspecto de casa vieja. Luego, tienes que subir por unas escalas y entras a un salon lleno de cosas viejas como decoración, y con mucha vegetacion. Toda su clientela son extranjeros. El personal es muy amable y simpático. Nos dijeron: que la comida es cocinada “a fuego lento” por lo tanto se puede demorar, y que casi todo el menú es para compartir. La comida es colombiana pero yo diría que muy creativa, exótica y original donde lograron una perfecta fusión de sabores y especias. Teniendo como resultado unos platos muy bien elaborados y presentados. Al igual que las bebidas, son una mezcla de licores con frutas y hierbas logrando una perfecta combinación. Fuimos 5 personas pedimos una entrada y 3 platos fuertes y fue muy suficiente. El lugar es muy agradable, la comida exquisita y el personal super amable y atento. Que lugar tan maravilloso. Vaya dispuesto a estar varias horas y a deleitar su paladar, pues no se arrepentirá!

Las personas del servicio fueron muy amables desde que llegamos, aunque estaba lleno y nos tocó esperar un poco, valió 100% la pena. La comida muy fresca y se siente que la hacen con amor. El lugar es único y te hace sentir en un espacio acogedor, la música en vivo hace que el ambiente mejore un montón. Pedimos unos aguacates perfectos y tortas de chocolo tres cerdos. An amazing innovative and elevated Colombian dining experience. The food was incredibly delicious. Every plate was super flavourful and complex. The service was also fast and attentive. Our only complaint was that the signature cocktails were extremely sweet and smoothie-like, which was not to our group’s preference. Would recommend beer or wine instead.

This is a wonderful establishment to get a different flavour of Medellín. They have a very interesting menu. The cóctels are very unique and quite delicious. They also serve viche, a liquor from Colombian Coast, that isn't as common in Medellín.

Freaking cool place. Cozy nerdy vibes 👩🏼‍🔬🔬, excellent service (Lisa was the best!) and the food was insane. If I had more time, I would have definitely come back. The plates I saw looked fire. We ate the brisquet (it’s such a huge portion) and the salad. We were 3 starving people, and when finished these feeling so full. I like the concept of lab kitchen, the sauces/essences are made in house and it shows! Don’t come starving though, the food takes around 40 mins to get cooked and they warn you about it. I had a mango/banana/clementine drink to get me waiting and it was excellent!

Unassuming restaurant that we almost walked past. Great atmosphere, which makes it seems like you are in the forest. Each of the three levels has its own unique charm. Definitely roam around and explore. The staff and food were outstanding. We enjoyed each dish, and our server was really friendly and patient as well. Definitely looking forward to going back!

This is my second time of this restaurant and an absolute must every time I’m in Medellin. The food is absolutely mind blowing. They managed to elevate Colombian food well still keeping true to the ingredients and roots. Unfortunately, I didn’t take that many pictures of the food but everything we had was incredible.

You can feel they put real love into what they do. The staff was friendly, fast and really welcoming. The place has this warm, chill vibe where you actually want to stay longer, enjoy your drink and order more food just because it’s that good. From the dishes to the cocktails, everything felt consistent and high-quality. Honestly, one of my top recommendations in Medellín right now — I’ll definitely come back.

Great little spot! Hidden off the street and 3 floors with great ambiance and decorations! The food is unique and delicious! I came later, 9:30pm so I got a table immediately and food came out quick. But, I would wait for a table and the food if I had to! If you're looking for a nice, elegant, but not overdone or over priced. meal that's not a tourist spot, this is your place!

Food and atmosphere were out of this world. Very cool place and good for small groups or even a date. Priced accordingly. Would definitely come back because they were accommodating. The stuffed avocado wrapped in bacon was my favorite. My friends liked the brisket or shrimp taco appetizer as their favorite.

I was so excited to try this restaurant after seeing the glowing photos and reviews and it did not disappoint! The entrance felt like a hidden speakeasy: you walk through a shop and gallery before stepping into an oasis filled with lush plants and charming antiques. I loved how the decor blended nature with whimsical trinkets, creating such a unique atmosphere. Even the menu was an artistic creation! The food was absolutely mouthwatering! My taste buds were in heaven! We shared the oyster mushrooms and meatball platters, and I highly recommend both. The oyster mushrooms were fried to crispy perfection and drizzled with a sweet sauce, while the meatballs were wrapped in flaky puff pastry with a creamy cheese center that tied all the flavors together in every bite. I’ll definitely be returning and recommend this spot to both tourists and locals looking for a memorable dining experience.

This place is a true gem! We really loved the ambiance, decor and overall concept! The only thing they need improvement is the wait time, considering that the place was not busy at all, it took way too long for the food to arrive, to the point that we lost appetite waiting for our last entree and we only ordered two. Alambique es una joya gastronómica. Desde que entras, el ambiente es acogedor y bien pensado, perfecto tanto para una cena tranquila como para una ocasión especial. La carta está muy bien lograda: sabores equilibrados, platos bien presentados y una propuesta que se siente auténtica y cuidada. La atención es cercana y profesional, te hacen sentir bienvenido sin ser invasivos. Cada plato que probamos estuvo a la altura, con ingredientes de calidad y una ejecución impecable. Lo primero es que la comida es deliciosa, me gusta bastante que aún tengan menú físico y que te expliquen detalladamente los diferentes platos, advirtiendo claramente que son de cocción lenta y que se pueden demorar un tiempo considerable El restaurante es muy bonito y amplio, tiene una decoración muy agradable y la música y en general el ambiente es muy acogedor y tranquilizante Lo que no me permite ponerle 5 estrellas es la atención que es muy variable, he ido una 4 veces y en ocasiones queda uno un poco aburrido, en esta última oportunidad no teníamos reserva y nos tocó en una mesa alta súper incómoda, pedimos que nos pasaran a mesa normal y no quisieron por las “reservas” pero nos quedamos alrededor de 1 hora y media y las mesas aún desocupadas, adicional las meseras no estuvieron atentas a que mas queríamos, postre, más bebidas, etc; se demoran hasta para llevarte la cuenta y después para llevarte el datáfono, estas cosas las verdad nublan un poco la deliciosa comida y el ambiente tan agradable que tienen.

Varied and creative food paired with a fantastic ambiance. The restaurant is gorgeous, with its eclectic and romantic interior. The service though fell off — and it wasn’t the wait time. They talk about that upfront and we were totally ok with it. It started off great and it rapidly declined. We got our cocktails, appetizers and dinner in adequate time yet our server started taking longer and longer to check in. Ordered a dessert which we didn’t see until 45 mins after we were done with our last dish because the server or kitchen forgot. We would’ve ordered more cocktails, water, etc but nobody came in to check on us until I waved somebody down for the check.

Good food and prices, service was a bit slow. We came with no reservation and managed to get seated, kudos to the host and team. Lady manager was working very hard, servers needs to be more attentive and don't drop off food with dirty plates sitting in front of the guests.

Really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is fantastic, with the restaurant spread across 3 floors along with a ton of greenery. The menu is also very cool with lots of animal imagery. I found the drinks to be fine but the food was a letdown. I first ordered the tomato avocado soup. It tasted pretty good, but after a few spoonfuls I felt something odd in my mouth. Turns out it was a piece of metal! I brought this to the attention of one of the servers and they asked if I wanted to keep it (lol), if I wanted a new one, or a different appetizer. I was grossed out so declined. My main dish was the pork ceviche. It sounded interesting and is allegedly their specialty. The sauce was tasty, but I found the chicharrones to be lukewarm and also weirdly dry. The dish was also humongous for one person despite being labelled a “personal” portion. I ate about half and decided I was done. The service was quite good and they were very apologetic regarding the soup - taking it off my bill and giving me a free drink. But I left here awfully disappointed in the food.
