GastroLava Valladolid Reviews
A complete surprise! I made a last-minute reservation for an impromptu visit to Valladolid. It was somewhat hidden, located in a multi-purpose space. The place itself is pleasant, with lovely music, decor, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent service and delicious dishes. The food was tasty, beautifully presented, and served promptly. The menu is varied and appealing. Having half portions available allows you to try more than one dish, and the portions are generous. Highly recommended.
Honestly, it's a place I'd go back to again and again, and I'd give the chef a standing ovation because every dish is delicious and a true delight for the palate. The service is impeccable; you can tell they pay attention to every detail. Thank you for this great work. Never change, you guys are amazing!
In my opinion, it's the benchmark restaurant in Valladolid, because of the service... they explain things, they advise you, without being intrusive, the tableware is beautiful, they change glasses as many times as necessary, and the pace at which they bring out the dishes is perfect, the rice, the pig's ear, are exquisite, the desserts are delicious.
It had been a few years since our last visit, and we remembered it being more expensive. It seems the other restaurants have raised their prices considerably, while this one has remained reasonably priced. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service professional and friendly, and the food was delicious. Many portions are available as "half" servings, which I appreciate for trying more different dishes. They offer a complimentary appetizer at the beginning and a small gift at the end, which is also a nice touch. We'll definitely be back; we really enjoyed it.
We discovered it thanks to Valladolid's food discount vouchers, and it was a great choice. We tried the fried couple, the oxtail ravioli, and the socarrat, and we'll continue trying more dishes; everything is delicious. We paired it with red wine, specifically Celestina, which was also a great choice. The place is very comfortable, with high and low tables, but with good stools. The service is first-class, and they have beautiful tableware. We'll continue trying more dishes. It really is promising.
Spectacular restaurant in the city of Valladolid. It stands out for the quality of its products and the presentation of its dishes. The menu isn't extensive, but you'll find a great choice. We ordered the Wagyu cecina as starters, which was spectacular; the crispy acorn with mojo sauce, which we loved; and the rice, which was my favorite. As for the main courses, we tried the pluma (penilla), ravioli, meatballs, and snout (morro). Everything was delicious, including the desserts. Great value, and the waitress was very friendly. We'll return to try the rest of the menu.
We really enjoyed the food: all the dishes were very well prepared and full of flavor. The service was also excellent; the waitress who served us was especially friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If I had to make a small recommendation, I would say that the paella was a little lumpy, probably due to being overcooked. Even so, it was a minor detail in an otherwise very good meal. I would definitely return.
A great place to share a plate of tapas in Valladolid. You can also order half portions, which lets you try more dishes. Everything was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The decor was also very tasteful; we loved the little chalkboards with the names of the reservations. We spent €30 per person and were very full. We'll definitely be back!
Great food to share with an excellent wine card and extraordinary friendly service!
Sublime
Top
Precio alto
It was good
Ok
Nice food and atmosphere
One of those many new places that tries to be fancy as an excuse to charge you more. And of course it cannot be a bar, tavern, cafeteria or restaurant. It has to be "gastro" But overall it's ok.
