The food is very good , the attention from the waiters are very good too, a notice to a waitress named Gloria she’s very special and kind
Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere was spot on. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Our server Gloria went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We will return again for sure!
Great Chilean food, pastries and breads. Try a completo. You won't go wrong.
This place is one of the most tasty places around. The food reminds me of my childhood, the food is so well made, portions are generous and if you really want to get to know the real Chilean food this is the place in new york state. The avocado is creamy, never tasted one like that here. The veggies in the salads are always fresh, high quality food. I recommend the fish with mashed potatoes and the “carne mechada” with spaghetti. The lemon pie and a tea. Do not forget “plata reina” You won’t regret it!!!
This place is an absolute gem! The empanadas are incredibly delicious—flaky, perfectly baked, and packed with rich, savory fillings. Every bite is bursting with authentic Chilean flavors! And the pisco sour? Hands down, the best I’ve ever had—smooth, balanced, and refreshingly tangy. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the service is top-notch. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience with amazing Chilean cuisine, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
We were a party of six on a Saturday evening for dinner. It was to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I called ahead to make a reservation. Explained my daughter could not eat gluten and asked if I could bring gluten-free cup cakes for after the meal. The owner said that would be fine. We each had a lovely dinner. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The restaurant was all decorated for Christmas, which made the event even more festive. When the meal was over, the staff plated the cupcakes beautifully lit the candles I'd brought and sang Happy Birthday with musical accompaniment. It was so enthusiastic that the whole restaurant joined in. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. The sangria we ordered was also excellent. San Antonio Bakery is a terrific restuto have in Valley Stream.
Love this place. The ceviche is fresh with a variety of seafood. Just delicious and highly recommended. The cakes with fruits and whipped cream are the lightest and freshest cakes I have ever had and not too sweet. The flan is a good size and do light and silky smooth. All is fresh and tasty. Yes, they are a little slow at times but the quality of the food is worth the wait. Check this restaurant out it is worth it.
I was first introduced to Chilean food by wife who is (you guessed it) Chilean. I myself come Puerto Rican decent. She took me to the San Antonio Bakery that was in Astoria. The first taste of there amazing churrasco I was instantly hooked. All there food is amazing and people are very friendly. I was said to hear the one in Astoria closed down. But then was happy to here there was another one in valley stream and it's the same owners so I'm getting the same quality of food. Please try everything when you can when you come here.
5 stars for the food. 1 star for service. We traveled 1 hour to enjoy this food 2 or 3 times a year. Every time the service is just so bad. 2 sundays ago the waitress forgot my husband's meal and didn't offer us drinks when we ordered the food. She didn't even notice that I was the only one eating at the table while my husband was having bread for lunch. We told her, absolutely no apologies. Improving the service will give this place 10 stars.
This place used to be good, with fresh desserts, but now it's a disaster. If you're lucky, the Black Forest cake might be fresh. Unfortunately, these things are disappointing. Who would want to come back here?
Service was absolutely terrible staff was very rude in exception to one waitress. We were ignored for the majority of the time and when ordering our food we were rushed not allowing us to ask any questions.
I purchased a tres leches cake as a gift for $42.36, expecting a high-quality dessert. However, the cake was a complete disappointment. The texture was heavy and lacked the light, airy feel you’d expect from a well-made tres leches. The flavor was bland, and the taste overall was terrible—no one could eat it. For the price, this was unacceptable. I recommend skipping this bakery. Buttercooky Bakery, on the other hand, never disappoints and is worth the drive.
