Restaurante Fussion Veracruz Reviews
Fabulous little gem. The food was so flavorful. Portions on the smaller side, by US standard at least. That actually worked out well because we tried a number of dishes, and they were all very enjoyable, especially the pork in the banana leaf and the shrimp-stuffed pepper. One area for improvement: There is no printed menu, just a QR code. That made it very difficult for me to try to translate the menu into English. Nevertheless, well worth a visit!!
What a wonderful surprise. Searching for a very special 1st dinner in Vera Cruz and hit the jackpot. From atmosphere to friendly. passionate staff to incredible cuisine it was perfect! We are returning in two days. Yes that is how great it was.
OMG so delicious. I’m excited to be back someday! If you are planning to have a dinner in here, please be sure to order whatever from the fish dishes. The food took long to arrive but it was so delicious we really didn’t care.
My favorite restaurant in Veracruz! Set in a beutifully furnished and decorated old house with wall art for sale, Fussion festures a beautifully curated menu of classic dishes with some daring and perfectly executed twists. Unusually varied with memorable options for all palates paired with stellar service & cocktails.
Amazing restaurant.. great food and great service. This type of restaurant was an unexpected find in Veracruz. Highly recommended...came back 4 years after my last visit and I pleased to say the food and experience was just as good as before. Very highly recommended.
Wow wow wow. A diamond in the rough. This was a fine dining experience disguised as a humble eatery. From the food to the pairings to the staff everything was top notch. Had I not been in a big group I would have done here everyday and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food that you get. You have to go here.
This out of the way tourist area place is worth taking a taxi to. Had the best lentil soup I've ever had. Followed it with shrimp tacos unlike I had ever had before. Very original sauces, preparation which made for an amazing meal. Margarita was excellent too!
A hidden gem, you could walk right past not knowing there was a restaurant, Google maps gets you close but a little confusing. I have nothing but praise, ambience , service and the best steak I've eaten in years. Totally worth every cent spent.
Amazing little place in Veracruz. It's easy to miss(the restaurant looks like a typical house in the neighborhood)..but inside is a great restaurant. Great steaks(a filet costs 270 pesos roughly 14 usd) and it's great. Awesome selection of wines and craft beers. Service is excellent. A little pricy but treat yourself. One of a kind experience.
Absolutely fantastic food & service. Where do I even start? This place has phenomenal ambience - it's a historic old house, seating for 20 tops, crystal stemware and glasses, perfect lighting, decor is beautiful, antiques, and more. The food was superb, fantastic melding of flavors and textures. Each in our party of four was convinced we'd ordered the best of the menu. Excellent wine list. Amazing desserts! Highly recommended. Among the top five restaurant's I've experienced in Mexico.
We were visiting Veracruz this summer from the US and found this wonderful restaurant. Can't say enough good things about it -- great ambiance, great food (prepared perfectly), and a phenomenal staff that went out of its way to engage us and to present one of the best meals we've had in Mexico . . . beautifully presented. From start to finish, a stellar experience. We highly recommend this place, and look forward to visiting it on our return to Veracruz
Amazing, thoughtful and tasty menu! Best restaurant we had in Veracruz. Plus, the restaurant is very elegant. Loved it!!

Is the best experience we have ever had. The food, the service and the restaurant ambiance is just perfect! Don’t miss the opportunity to try it!!!
The restaurant itself is beautiful. The decor is great. Food wise I was not very happy about it. The starter was very nice. It was some venison tostadas. My main was disappointing. It was a small piece of overcooked salmon that came with a mango chutney and some rice. The chutney was not bad but it needed more vinegar. The rice was reheated in the microwave so it was dry and it had become a unified mass of rice. It was quite bad. The plate also had a mango puree which was just mango fruit with nothing else. It was not included in the description and in my opinion it did not go at all with the fish. Dishes are overpriced for what you get.
Unfortunately, they do not have menus. Just the scan code crap that no one my age can understand or even see. Why so many places refuse to have at least a few printed menus on hand in case a customer requests an actual menu, I’ll never know. But I do know that I was excited to try this place but I only eat in restaurants that respect their customers enough to have printed menus. Small wonder they were totally empty on a Friday night.
Food is diabolical, I don’t understand what other people are on about or how they could have gone to the same place but OMG! Maybe we were exceptionally unlucky with all 4 dishes that we ordered (that were all the recommendations from the waiter, cheesy balls were edible but very basic, veal in taco extremely vinegary, cold and basically inedible. Octopus crazy salty, overcooked and been out the sea for far too long. Steak in chocolate sauce, steak on its own might be ok ish, but the sauce copied from somewhere where they know how to cook.) The “special fussion” of fruit drink was just the squash from corner shop. Orange juice was ok. Expensive and mere mediocre ingredients exceptionally badly cooked. 👎🏼
